I’m Canadian and I don’t care for Trudeau. I didn’t vote for him but I have to give credit where credit is due. I appreciate that he is standing up for Canada and I agree with him. This is a huge mistake for the USA and it is destroying decades of hard work that has made North America great.

We, the Canadians, stand by our government. We are prepared to go through this and come out well . We did not fight this fight and we feel for those who did not vote for Trump in America

America first. Anyone who doesn’t want to be here is welcome to go elsewhere. There is no law that keeps you in the United States. Go stand physically where you claim to stand verbally. If countries want to benefit from the U.S. market it needs to be on fair terms otherwise we continue to be at a disadvantage from a trade standpoint.

Canada, the American people stand with you. Personally I wish that Justin Trudeau was our president! Although I have to disagree with you, Trump is not at all a smart man. Well said. I love the USA, I have relatives who live there and in all the years of a beautiful relationship with the people of America I have never seen this situation. Mr. Trump you seem to want to conquer and divide relationships at any cost, even with people who care about you. You sabotage yourself and those who are loyal to you. I'm not sure if you understand the implications of your decisions. But I will say respectfully, there are no winners in a trade war, nor is it you that has the final say on the worlds outcome. This is God's world not yours and not ours. I'm really disappointed to see American people and Canadians hurting because of whatever the point of all of this means. But Canada is strong and we will stand up for our country. The American people are strong and they were strong before you became the President. I don't care what side of the fence you sit on. I did not need to hear this man speak to already know Canada was, but may yet be, our greatest ally and trading partner. I have no idea what possessed Mr. Trump to decide to stab our allies in the back, but it was not something good. 27.5% of voting age adults voted for him. How many of them were serenaded by hollow promises and a good slogan. Perhaps all of the mud slinging and Russian media interference helped? If you add in our more studious teenagers, truly reformed felons, and immigrants who actually deserve a gold card, that number plummets to less than 25%. I won't ask people to wake up, if you are reading this you are already more than capable of finding out that I speak only the hard truth. This means less than a quarter of america wanted this. This means your vote and opinions DO count. I know it is incredibly difficult to reach for and find answers in a world where your president or primary candidate throws 'fake news' in your face on a regular basis. He is actually telling the truth. When he is not telling you is that he is a primary enabler of 'fake news'. To him, only his word is law, only his opinion matters, only he deserves to be on top, and he deserves authority over all of your lives. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. When a man has been convicted of dozens of felonies, and we tell you that this is only what we were willing to expose. You may want start believing us. The genuine facts of his past are unilaterally corrupting to our children and good people alike. Do not let the american people repeat their mistakes, force Mr. Trump to atone for his mistakes. No not empower him to sweep them under the rug for the sake of his own arrogance, because that is exactly what he is doing by trying to dismantle the CIA and FBI. These two institutions are shining examples of America's pursuit of freedom and justice. Freedom to keep billionaires from corrupting the morals of our children. Freedom to know that the rule of law is immutable, our constitution is not just a paper with fancy traditional sentiment. Even if the law may sometimes be bent for the sake of decency, forgiveness, and the pursuit of 'united we stand', our constitution cannot. Amendments require the FULL support of nearly all Americans, not 27.5% of unrestricted adults.

I'm a 71 yr old woman. I'm crying! To listen to a leader who is coherent and articulate is foreign as of late. I haven't slept a full night since he came into office. America stands with Trump

For those of you who don’t get a lot of real and unbiased news in Trump’s Greater America…watch these documentaries from Australia and decide for yourself. There is a lot of circumstantial evidence behind Trump stealing both elections. Trump’s actions have become more extreme, as he greatly fears the consequences for ALL of his Criminal actions. Watch ABC Australia’s three part Four Corners Documentary exposing both Trump’s comprehensive and long-standing links with Russia and their cyber-espionage during the elections in the US. Also explains Trump seeking unwarranted control over all levels of law and its’ enforcement. He probably didn’t win this recent election either as the Russians have clearly done a deal with him to put him into power. He is now an (un)official Russian operative and things Putin won’t betray him….but Putin is younger and far better at removing obstacles that stand in his way. Trump may have a convenient heart attack once he’s served his purpose.

I have never felt more proud to be a Canadian, it’s a good feeling, I was almost brought to tears earlier thinking about it. And it’s interesting to note that it is overriding the fear of the consequences of Donald’s actions. Here’s where I can’t help but think of you, our fellow North Americans. The good people of the USA, I hold you in my heart. For you don’t have that boost that comes from feeling proud of your country. I can’t say I’ve ever known what that is like. It seems it would leave you gutted, and lost. Can you even describe the feeling, the experience? It has to be one of those things that you can’t know until you experience it. The pride in my country is keeping me going. My heart is crushed thinking that you do not have that. But you need to do everything you can to keep it. It’s what the Donald and his cronies are counting on. Unfortunately, he does not care about you. He wants to crush you. He does not care about America and what it stands for. He only cares about himself. If you do not have the fight that comes from being proud of your country, you guys are gonna be easy pickings. Do everything you can to find pride in your country. Trump is openly attacking America's allies while aiding its adversaries—most notably, Russia. His agenda has never been clearer. Just look at the way he treated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and NATO. His actions systematically weaken those who stand against Vladimir Putin. Can’t you see what’s happening? Trump is acting in a way that directly benefits Russia, raising serious questions about his true allegiances.

I cannot see any sanity, logic, or forward looking, with putting tariffs on our allies. It is hurtful to everyday Americans. Who benefits from this? The wealthy, like t-rump, and his cronies. He has no idea what he is doing - laying off thousands of federal workers. Well said. I will never understand how Trump and the entire Republican Party turned against our country and our allies, and aligned themselves with a murderous Russian dictator. I don’t know how anyone could grow up in the United States of America and so completely turn their backs on the Constitution, and the laws and values we stand for. I am confused. I am scared. I am angry. But mostly, I am ashamed to be living in Trump’s America.
