So now NOBODY is going to buy weapons to the USA, and considering that the American economy massively relies on its military industry, this can cause a huge collapse. Other countries and other markets will step up and take the position of the USA in the market and the world, because other countries are reliable, especially those in Europe and Canada, and the USA is not.

Trump is a horrible, horrible human. I am devastated over what he is doing. I've never once given Trump my vote and I'm not a lefty liberal. I knew if he was voted in he was going to cause world wide chaos. He has shown his character over and over and over...yet a large portion of American's just ignored it. This election wasn't about republicans or democrats or independents. This election was about humanity and global security. American's ignored the writing on the wall for their own singular wants/opinions. The majority of Trumpers claim to be 'Christians'. He pardoned violent offenders and called them patriotic, spouts false information, obstructs investigations, has numerous felony charges against him and has now made enemies with our allies. Shall I go on? That's not Christian. Even if you aren't Christian...that's not what America stands for. All for what...eggs? Guns? Cheaper groceries? Europe has just announced an 800 billion Euro defence plan; I bet they’d be very interested in Canada’s critical minerals. A message to Trudeau. Put an export tax on the Oil and Electricity sold to the United States. Open up new European Markets for Oil and Natural Gas product and sell directly to Europe and Japanese markets. China needs oil, there is plenty of market around the world for our products. The Tariff's imposed by Trump is only going to make product to the US more expensive for their own citizens, and with Tariff's on all American imports, if they can't make it, or they don't have the raw materials to make it themselves, they will have to pay more. It is not necessary to impose Tariff's on USA Products to penalize Canadians, but Canadians will find new markets to replace the US, and we won't even notice it happened. We have alternatives. The southern islands are great vacation locations, and with the weather disasters they have suffered over the past few years, they could use the tourist support to help rebuild, and, their people are friendly and don't carry guns.

The reason for this is Trump wants industry back in the US, and as long as people buy things from outside of the US cheaper, that's not going to happen. Thus the tariffs. Or the wishful thinking bit he swears to. Whatever. But what sane person would build up an industry predicated on Trump being consistent and willing to stay the course? An industry that would fall apart like it's 1920 the moment tariffs end? I predict noone.\n\nI have some experience with Clark, he was an insightful man during his command in Europe. It should be concerning when he can't see a reason for these actions, for cozying up to Putin and alienating allies. There's no end goal here that is in the US' interest. Trump's cabinet is not interested in this sort of thing, they are domestic dilettantes. There is no 4D chess. So what is the deal? I am from Europe. Lithuania. I will say the opinion that is dominant in my country: Ex President Joe Biden was not the sharpest knife in the drawer because he is of a respectable age, but he was a smart politician, he respected his neighbors and the all of Europe respected him. Trump destroyed everything in one month, he acts like Putin by attacking his neighbors. We are stand with Ukraine and Canada. I hope one day to visit Canada for incredible natural beauty.
