No offence to new immigrants but if you came here past 2018 you should not be allowed to buy a house until house prices get back to sane levels. I was born in raised in a small town surrounded by farmland in Ontario and the average cost of a home is now 700k. 20 years ago it was 150k. No one I grew up with can afford a home, I'm sorry but Canadians first. Other countries seem to care way more about their own people waaaay more than here. I feel like Canadians are constantly the ones who just have to suck it up. Its absolutely nonsense. Either something has to happen or I, and many Canadians in the same position will leave. Canada sucks at the moment, do not come here! Almost everyone I talk to who is born here agrees, lib, con, ndp, doesn't matter what political party they usually vote for, they want immigration to stop, and homes to be built. We're at the breaking point.

Basic tip : if you travel legally, with the right channels into Canada you will not have to struggle. The government will even ensure you are getting support while at it. Once you 'cheat' your way in please expect repurcussions. The canadian government is as transparent as you'd like it to be. I came here with no agent, followed the guidelines from the government immigration website, got a visitors visa for 6months, immediately applied for temporary workers visa got it within 45days, upgraded to permanent residency and got it within 60days. Once you breach the guidelines of Canada immigrations don't expect mteremko. The laws here are the most friendliest and yes Canada is made of immigrants. If you can come please do it the right way. Currently Alberta is loking for pharmacists, nurses, doctors and caregivers for kindergarten age. Its all on the website for Alberta government. Its straight forward. If wasn’t for Toronto we wouldn’t have Trudeau and the dumb NDP, who have propped him and liberals up for the last three years. \nThis is what you get, they ramped up immigration. In America, the government works for the people. If the government refuses to do its job, the people will eventually step up and do it themselves. It's never pretty when it happens, but it will eventually happen if the government does nothing.

Maybe it's just because of the news, but really, the school shootings are TOP of mind for me. Like, how is that even possible, to have that many crazy people who want to murder children, and not only that, but those crazy people have access to guns? \nI don't say anything to my American cousins, as I realize that they have ties, they've married Americans, they've built a life, and there's no sense me freaking out about things that they won't change, and insulting their choices.\nBut... I was SHOCKED that even after they started having children, they still didn't move back to Canada. They can do it, they have dual citizenship! \n???\nIt's like sending your kids to school on a boat in a river full of crocodiles. It's not guaranteed that nothing bad will happen to them, and it's hard to let them go, but you trust and pray and hope for the best.\nAnd then you see your cousin's kids sailing down that same river sitting on a log with their feet dangling into the water! It's horrifying, even if they assure you that usually the crocs don't come to this side of the river, and mostly they're not hungry in the morning anyway. It seems like reckless disregard. And for what? So the parents can make more money? It's not worth it in my opinion.

I usually really like PolyMatter but this video is clearly biased and missing important details. \n\nWhat this video does not talk about is that we already have millions of H1B in this country competing for jobs with American citizens; go into any IT department of most banks, and you will find mostly H1B workers. Walking into any major university career fair, you will see the predatorial scene of hordes of foreign master students competing against American bachelors for the same new grad jobs; with many of the foreign students already having real career experience in their own country competing against inexperienced American young adults. \n\nThis video also does not mention the H1B lottery is not a single-try event. Everyone is given 3 tries and it refreshes if you get another American degree. \n\nLastly, this video does not mention the fact that people not on American soil could also apply for the H1B lottery which contributes further to the low rate. \n\nComparing pays between companies was ridiculous in this video's context. Google L3 in America should be compared with Google L3 in Canada, which are not very different in pay, after adjusting for the cost of living.\n\nIn terms of the country cap, just because some countries happen to have more people than other countries, it's not America's problem to solve; America has to do what is in the best interest of America. In this case, America simply decided to prioritize diversity in yearly admittees.

My opinion as a Canadian with no first hand life experience in the states but personally know plenty of people who do and follow many Americans on social media.\n\nI like to look at both sides of the story when I don’t personally know any better. First thing is when it comes to health care, Canadians use only the cost as an argument but never the quality. The only time I will ever use the government funded healthcare is for a broken bone. Any other issues my knowledge and experience makes me stay far and clear away from the hospitals. However I was talking with a retired business man who spends winter in Florida and he said he had a health issue while there, was referred to a certain doctor by a friend, made an appointment within a few days, not a yearlong waitlist, and with one visit had his issues fixed. Paid the bill and was done with it. Not a story of take this for a while then come back, come back to get referred to a specialist, wait a few months for the specialist, get an appointment 6 months later, and after surgery you feel only slightly better because in your mind you should be better. I do believe Canadian healthcare is low quality and sadly designed for the government to make money. American healthcare is private and needs to offer good quality services in order to succeed.\n\n\nNext subject is violence. Everyone I know and follow in the states have never had any major acts of violence towards them. I believe just like Canada, some areas are more prone to violence but since the states have 10x more people, they have 10x more violent spots which makes it seem worse. Rural Canada and rural United States seems to me very similar in the way people treat each other. \n\n\nI wouldn’t be scared to move there if that’s what would be best. Doubt it’ll happen because I enjoy having the amount of unpopulated area to go riding atvs, snowmobiles, and whatever else. Seems like the states have less area that everyone can freely enjoy but I could be wrong

I suggest google’n “ school shootings, small town America”…. article after article, when you do, says why most mass school shootings tend to happen in small towns….where nobody expects that they would have happened & how all the residents in those towns are always surprised that they happened in their town. \nI say this as somebody who once loved the idea of moving to the USA. \nMy mom was a single parent and as a result I spent a ton of time as a very young kid in the late 80s throughout the mid 90s in a small town in Oregon on my aunt and uncles dairy farm with my cousins and I absolutely loved it. Truthfully, I still love small-town America and I love the vast majority of the people I have met from small-town America. There is the friendliness and community that I find very similar to prairie farming towns in Canada. \n And as a kid, I loved the focus on high school sports in the small USA town I spent time in and how it brought the community together. It was very exciting to go to my cousins football games—stuff like that was super fun as a kid.\nAs an adult, with 2 young kids of my own now? \nYes, I would be terrified to send my children to any school in the United States, especially knowing that the vast majority of my school shootings do happen in small towns, which is a type of place in the states I would personally like to go to, if I did move. \n\nAdditionally, I will be completely bankrupt at this point given my own health issues as well as my two kids health issues and I’m just in my late 30s. \nAnd I’m not talking to super crazy health issues, but health issues nonetheless. I have asthma that has gone through patches where I’ve had to be hospitalized & I was diagnosed with stage 3 malignant melanoma when I was in my late 20s and pregnant with my 2nd. My first child was born with a congenital heart disorder that was missed through the pregnancy and until she was two, and that involved many many trips to the hospital & various specialists until they figured out what was going on (one of the symptoms was her randomly stopping breathing and going blue, which was terrifying, and could’ve been for many different reasons & it took many specialists & many hospital visits to figure it all out)\nMy son was born with a multiple protein intolerance and later received an autism diagnosis. There a decent number of hospital visits and specialists for his first couple of years of life too. \n\n I have no idea if I was in the United States how I would’ve paid for any of our health issues (let alone all three of ours) for that 5 or 6 year period where we all needed various types of regular-ish medical care. \n(because we got good medical care, thankfully, none of us have really had to see doctors any more than the average person in the last few years?)\n\nMy kids are now in elementary school, and, as a Canadian, the issue of school shootings happening anywhere….., including in small towns that seem perfectly safe……as well as the cost of healthcare for stuff that is covered by our taxes here in Canada….. are the two biggest reasons that I will think fondly of my time in small-town America, but would never consider moving there

It doesn't work that way for patients who are not in contact with reality.\n\nNow we add extreme drugs (crack, meth, heroine, ketamine, whatever they hand out at parties, etc) and severe cases of PTSD/PTSS. Those are seldom legit. If the data comes from a study, always look to see who paid for it. And how large the sample size was; how were the participants selected? It’s horrific how these ppl are forced to live, that is NOT life..reading the comments, it’s disheartening to see. Put yourselves in their shoes! Ask yourself many questions. Not everyone can just be considered an asylum seeekr bec of too much crimes in their countries. Grow up! Crimes happen evrywhere ieven in the USa. I have no problem helping people but if our government shows more biases and leninency to the illegals more than the US citizens/legal residents, then I find that problematic. My heart breaks when the social worker would pressure me to discharge frail, sickly aging pts within nte 48 hour time frame bec medicare wont cover them and they are not eligible forrehab facilities as their status are observationinstead if inpatients while the non-citizens can just drop their chronically ill family members bec they cant take care if them as they are all working. They wont even claim them bec they are “busy”.\nThey can just do whatever they want as they dont have to worry about paying for hospital bills or have credit companies go after them. We are also taking care of their US born children but they are not paying taxes. Our co’untry is in the brink if bankruptcy bec of misplaced sympathy. If we really want to help these people, give them work visa so they can be legal and taxable, or better help their countries to help with drug wars, etc. We cannot sustain these kind of unconditional financial bleed for so long. Before we know it, the whole population outside the Us, have transplanted themselves here for free and without fiscal responsibilities.

Immigrants are here now because Trudeau is taking them in. It wasn’t multi culture until he got in cost of living went up too. We don’t have family drs they’re full. And that comment about apologizing makes no sense. I live in Japan right now and I could totally relate to your sentiment when you brought up locking the doors. I've forgotten to lock my door countless times here in Japan, but I never feel worried because crime is just so low here. I never forgot to lock my doors back in the states and that was probably due to my sense of paranoia of what could happen if I forgot. I feel more at peace here than I do back in America. Also Japan has so much healthy (AND DELICIOUS) food everywhere you go. Fast food chains aren't all over the place here in Japan besides in Tokyo (and maybe some other big cities), but that isn't most of Japan, so living here has forced me to eat healthier and I am so grateful because I feel a lot better. I feel like moving back to America one day will be very hard when it comes to this.\n\nAlso I am surprised you all didn't mention the differences between health care! I know when it comes to Japan and America these two countries are night and day different.

You are wrong about Canada protecting and caring about homeless and in-need people. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

Yeah it's hard to find a job and keep the job in Canada. Even with a job that doesn't require education and anybody can do, I come across someone who is not happy with me being there and they try to find reasons why I shouldn't work there ?it happened 16 years ago when I first got into workforce and it happened not too long ago again. I was inventory clerk counting products at different stores. I believe I was an accurate counter and someone who recounted them told my manager I wasn't good. She said many of them I counted were either off or she couldn't understand my writing. And the manager had to have a talk with me. I can honestly say I was better counter than she was. And I feel very confident I was very careful with counting that day too. But she thought otherwise. I couldn't bear working with someone or some people who didn't appreciate my work or my presence there so I had to quit. It will happen again and I thought it wouldn't matter how accurate I am at counting. One of my Canadian colleagues once told me that it's okay for immigrants to live in Canada but it's not okay to work with them. I don't know if that's a fact but in my experience I have encountered some people like that along the way.

Because of backlog they get you in for 12. \nFinished up morning appointments by 1. \nThey then take there lunch. Which means they are two hours behind starting the afternoon. \nRough idea of what goes on but you get the idea. \n\nTwo. You hear it every time you call a doctors office. If this is a medical emergency call 911. \n\nIf you need an appointment with specialist because something is wrong. \nFor instance need to see Neurologist because of seizures. \nYou can go to family Doctor and he will set up appointment for 6-8months down the road. \nOr you can go to emerge snd be seen by Neurologist usually within the day. \n\nThey expect you to do that if you are in distress. \nNot in the brochure perhaps but they tell you to do it. \nCall 911 if this is medical emergency. \n\nSo whether your having heart palpitations, seizures, or just don’t know what’s wrong with you. \nThey expect you to go to emerge if you are in a bad way.

Which test should I take? \n\n2.If my application has been rejected can I apply for it again?\n\n3.Based on your experience what would be the Canadian equivalent of a three yr course of B.com in India?\n\n4. Why people think China will rule the world when it's citizens want a better life in places like Canada and America. There freedom is imaginary in China.
