I am commenting from Canada and seeing people getting frustrated coming on visitor visa to look for work/convert visa to work permit. Even employers with LMIA approval are asking for work permits. Anyone coming to Canada should preferably secured a job or school before coming here. It is so so so expensive and jobs aren’t easy to get without Canadian credentials or experience . Any Canadian credentials including a certificate will up your game in getting a job. Meanwhile while in school you can now work unlimited hours but ensure you stay in school and finish. Be careful with agents promising jobs . It is hard here but once you get into the system hard & smart work pays. And getting into the system can only be done front door. What one pays an agent for visitor visa, you might as well do a one year certificate that’s approved for post graduate work permit. Less headache and better opportunities. When a deal sounds too good think twice- agents are really smooth talkers and super salespeople from what I’m told by those coming here through them. Be wise….I have no regrets coming here I wish I did it earlier as I’d have gained more through longer school options in my youth ?.

Simple...live to work vs work to live....as Canadian born visible minority...I can confirm no matter where you move in Canada it will all be the same story.....The systemic racism is very real but more about bullying. Salary in Nigeria is not better because where I work as HSE man in an oil depot, I get paid three thousand five hundred naira for a day in Rivers State. We work 12 hours with no overtime pay, including public holidays and weekends. The tribal discrimination is so high in the company. An Igbo man own it, if you are not an Igbo man in that company, no promotion for you, no salary increase, and one is subject to train a new employee from that tribe, immediately you finish training the person he or she automatically becomes your boss. The US might offer more money for the same job but you left the higher costs out. Canada is safer, you have better chances of not getting shot in the street or at a routine traffic stop, you can raise children that have a higher rate of surviving to finish highschool, finish college with less debt and less pounds and you can retire with decent healthcare. All these are advantages that eat up at the US pay bonus and some can't be bought at all.

i am an indian and i dont understand why some indian families particularly in punjab and andhra region are soo obsessed with sending there kids outside for education ??? it has little value in india unless it is an IB league college .. someone going to canada to study commerce or a BSc is very stupid . Finish your graduation in india and give exams for masters . go abroad only if you have a certain good score otherwise it is of no use .

People do not make mistakes to come to Canada. I have my university from back home, I finish Waterloo university my diploma with 5 stars, and now I am overeducated for Canada. Stupid people, police state. In Canada, you need only a uniform. If you don't think like Canadians you are an enemy of Canada. People are brainwashed. Canada is only for people from Asia, Africa and Latino America.

Me being Armenian in Canada there are only 143k Armenians in Canada I moved here with my parents when I was 10 I knew English so I was ok when I got here but I was continuously isolated because I am from the Caucasus formerly a part of the Ussr so the culture in Armenia is completely different than Canada I don't hate Canada but I don't feel like a Canadian Eastern Europe and The Caucasus feel like home....??❤??but the weather here is just like In the mountains cold except Armenia is humid and hot so I much rather finish my education here and go to East Europe I have many connections in Russia and Switzerland my Half sister is living in Switzerland so I have many places to go and fit in.

Thanks for the great video, i would like to know. As the main applicant, once the COPR letter has been issued and the single entry visa issued. Do I as the main applicant fly to Canada and get the PR or does my entire family fly and each get PR? as we are intending to finish the process but fly to Canada get the PR and return to finish things up before the big move. Do all of us have to fly and get the PR or can I as the main applicant to it on behalf of my family, or does it only apply to me as my family is part of my application. Some clarity would be appreciated.

I totally agree with the masses,to get a job offer when you are outside Canada is very difficult.I sat for an assessment test,for one of Canada's reputable company.It took me more than two hours to finish,but when they realized that am outside Canada,there response was that,we have decided not move forward with your application.Other efforts have not even paid off,no responses.
