As an American, First, I am embarrassed by our petulant child of a President who has NO IDEA what he is doing. Canada…despite what you hear, we love you. Our incompetent government is our biggest problem and I am truly sorry for The Worst President we have ever had and his idiocy toward you. He’s our National Embarrassment. Canada we love you. ❤ I truly wish Trudeau was our President! A true pro with class and decorum.

As an American, I wish I was a Canadian at this time. I don't stand by the T admin... They are all insane. The Prime Minister's speech was so articulate, smart, and compassionate. He doesn't sound harsh but strong and confident. And not anti-American but empathizing with American citizens. Not sure why these CNN folks used those words.

This is not anti-American, it is just fighting back from an unnecessary trade war. It does however break my heart because many Canadians have family on the U.S. side. I know it would also break my father’s heart as he grew up in New England and had a lifetime affection for the U.S. I despise politics and have not been a proud Canadian for a few years but I have to admit that this speech is getting me going again. Canada needs to get its act together and rebuild its military, not to fend off the U.S. but to hold its own should other countries decide we are ripe for the picking. I want U.S.-Canada relations to be tight again. We’re neighbor. We will have our disagreements and that’s fine but these trade wars will hurt everyone and, if it lasts, may leave lasting grievances.

As an American, I stand with Canada and any other country that is repelled and repulsed by the idiocy that is the Trump administration. Blaming anyone and everyone for our own shortcomings is a fools errand and a petty and idiotic way of governing. This country is under the rule of a narcissistic dictator wanna be and a cult of clueless clowns.

Good for Canada the republicans in congress are spineless to stand up to the felon president Trump and are allowing him to be a fascist tyrant. As an American. I don't think it was a good thing to bully other countries, especially allies and neighbors. There are other diplomatic ways to do things. I am not left or right, but I felt like Obama and Clinton had better ways with international relationships. As an American Donald Trump was a mistake. It's time for the American people to wake up and admit their mistakes. An inflated ego is not good. My fellow American we don't want a president with an inflated ego, who will never admit his mistake. People will definitely die because of this fool of a man. Imagine 5 years or 4 years of this. I can go on for many paragraphs but what's the point since I firmly know that my point will be proven in less than a year. Don't forget the employment rate keeps rising, inflation is rising. No wages increase for the citizens of the country. Medical and Medicaid will be cut as well as social security. Mass layoffs, it's also not easy to get a new job. Well I think we will have to migrate to other countries but that will not help. The only solution is to have him removed from the oval office.

As a Brazilian and also an American, I wonder how a guy like Trump managed to become president of a country as powerful and advanced as the USA.
