The part that she actually does have to hear and accept is the truth..Her ancestors were and are colonizers, those are basic truths.. I really don't think the government officials have any idea of the pace at which Canada is rapidly changing.. It is mind boggling the rapid changes and that's from every single nook and cranny of this once beautiful country you will see new immigrants.. There are places i went to as a child with my folks, where you would never have seen nothing but white people, maybe a few native people, a couple of black and oriental folks and that was it.. Now there are car loads of east Indians running around some actually living in those communities.. I am not a racist person, but that's my own observation on the ground.. I'm from the UK and I am very impressed with the Canadian Prime Minister's response, what a contrast from the felon in the White House. I have been researching which Canadian products are available here and will be switching to them and away from U.S products. And to ordinary Americans who are as disgusted by their leadership as so many of us around the world are, I hope you will be able to reclaim your country back from Trump and MAGA who are doing so much harm to you.

As a Canadian, I didn’t vote for Trudeau but I have to hand it to him, he has expressed the thoughts and feelings of the majority of Canadians very well. Canadians are generally pretty laid back and easy going, often too polite for our own good. However, as the Americans in 1812, the Germans in WW1 and WW2, the Chinese and North Koreans in the Korean War and the Taliban in Afghanistan found out we don’t shy away from a fight when we are provoked. Lets keep i real. The desire that most immigrants have is homeostasis which is the familiar. All humans do this. Individually indians are usually smart and decent people. But in groups ( and this doesnt just include indians) you get this group thinking that is prejudice against anyone who isnt one of their own. Im fairly certain its a good demonstration of what a different culture would experience in their own country. I think the Canadian government needs to be a little more careful with the type of immigrants that enter the country. I don't see it as a problem to have Chinese, Japanese, Indians and other people immigrating to Canada. But I think it is also necessary to attract more people from Europe to live in the country. Canada is a country with a white majority and, if they are not careful, the country's demographics could change a lot over the years. European ancestry needs to remain alive in the country. Especially British and French. That is Canada's identity.

In my workplace, I have had positive interactions with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and other Asian cultures. Regrettably, issues have arisen with some Indian coworkers due to their inclination to work solely with other Indians. My experiences with Pakistani and Bangladeshi colleagues have been particularly pleasant, as they have consistently demonstrated kindness. However, some Indian colleagues have displayed narcissistic tendencies and a lack of respect, prioritizing their own needs above others. This selfish behavior has created difficulties for Canadian colleagues, who find it challenging to work collaboratively with these individuals. Moreover, I have noticed that some Indian employees, upon securing a job, focus exclusively on hiring other Indians, leading to a lack of diversity in the workplace. This has raised concerns about racism, as some Indian individuals have exhibited prejudice towards black and white colleagues, often using derogatory language and pretending to work while failing to make meaningful contributions.

The majority of Canadians are sick and tired of the amounts of Indians coming to Canada committing crimes. As a Black Canadian womam born and raised, l never seen anything like this in my whole 60 years of life. We cannot find affordable housing, they come over here wanting to be Canadian citizens, at the same time abusing the resources meanwhile, they go across the border to exploit the system. Immigration needs to close it doors to certain countries. Some Indians people come over here, and think they are still in India. They used Black people as a scapegoat, they are racist towards Black people, they think they are white, they don't consider themselves as colored.

You have been spot on about the situation in Canada, except for one thing. The Canadian government pays employers to employ foreign workers and foreign students. As a tenth generation Canadian( more up the native side ) I really resent being told by kalistanies that it's their land and all white people need to go back to Europe. They are very bold and obnoxious. Canadians are also edged out of spots in legitimate post secondary schools, because they make foreign students pay more. So they take them first. This is very racist to both Canadians and foreign students. First nobody should have to pay more than anyone else for the same service or goods. That's racist to foreign students. And the fact that they are taking foreigners first is racist to Canadians. The schools should be taking students by merit. You are right. Canada has fallen. As a born and raised, WHITE Canadian, I NEVER had an issue with Indian immigrants, of all the immigrants to Canada, they were the most respectful, and the most willing to “assimilate” to our culture. As a white Canadian, I’d must say, saying “There’s too many Indians” was a saying back in the 1500-1600 of “There’s too many white people” and adapting to Canadian language was not English nor French, the Natives spoke Quechuan languages, Aymara, Guarani, and Nahuatl. Although, nowadays it restarts with Indians. Eventually Indians will feel the cycle as did the Natives, and White people. Life repeats itself.

I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. If you and rest of new immigrants don't see the problem yet, I'll continue. 95% of taxis have Indian drivers, 98% food and other delivery Indian, 90%+ convenience and groceries, clothing and all stores 90%+ , vehicles on roads 70% Indian, my son barely got into college with 90%+ Indian population in college and his class is 2 white students, himself only mixed , and 2 Africans and 22 Indian students who cheats on a regular basis but professor afraid to confront as they are quick to call racism. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. Now you come here and benefits from black and indigenous peoples struggles and claiming rights when you have not been fighting the battles with us or for us. Also, the criminal aspects of your community is not being taked about as well which includes extortion to businesses owned by Indians, car thefts, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other criminal activities. There's so much more than just saying you feel unloved by the people you're taking things from for their children and grandchildren and generations without showing any respect as that is defined as selfish. I don’t understand what is the connection with white people going junkies and immigrants successfully settling there. Mostly those junkies complaining about immigrants because they need some kind of target to blame for their failures . Also Canada’s immigration policy to be blamed for this. They left loopholes for non skilled uneducated people , criminals who are eloping from authorities and terrorists to migrate and they are showing their true self there once they feel comfortable. The only thing I would say cause you seem to be very young. Is that brampton actually in the 70's and to early 2000's used to be mostly a white and black community and then other cultures. I am born in Toronto I have a cousin born in Toronto who currently lives in brampton she owns a house in brampton for about 25 years. And is going through a lot mentally with the slamming. We got of people from India mostly in the last 2 years, but it's been going on slowly over 10 years and she's not doing well with the overwhelment of Indians and we're of black Jamaican heritage. So just so you know, brampton used to actually be white and then black was actually the second largest population and everybody else was after that. And then in the last 10 years they started coming but it wasn't in hundreds of thousands and then in the last 2 years it blew up insanely. As that man described is like an invasion. I now live on the West Coast of Canada and the same thing has happened here. And it's been a lot for me Canadian born. I've always grew up with every culture. I've lived and worked around the Indians that used to come here were literally not even on the radar. I mean you see them, but you just they just blended in because most of them had assimilated and were doing their lives. The breed that has come over specifically in the last 2 years is what is making it even worse cause if they acted like the ones who came before 10 -20 -30 years ago. They probably wouldn't stand out, but then again when you bring in almost a million, into all of Canada, they would stand out, but maybe people wouldn't be so agitated, if they had tried to assimilate and be respectful to the other cultures here and that is the number one complaint I hear anytime, I see interviews. Is people saying they don't assimilate? They're very rude to anybody who is not them. They are just interacting with the environment. The way they do at home, Canadians are more quiet and try to be respectful of other cultures. We like to just have their own space and our own peace when they're moving throughout this space and a lot of people describe the energy of the Indians coming in almost evasive into your space and then not really carrying anything about invading ur space. They act like, so what's the big deal if I'm in your space and that has been the number one issue is just the rudeness. Not assimilating and imposing their culture, speaking their language, not attempting to integrate with other cultures showing actually a lot of racism to some of the other cultures. And that has been the biggest problem. So just so you know, cause I can tell you're young. I'm North 40 years old and I can tell you. The demographic change has been so intense everywhere in Canada especially in the last 2 years. That I have even seen podcast with Indian people who have been here 10 -20-30 years, saying the government needs to figure out a way and get a good swath of these people gone because they are. Staining them with a negative brush. Cause I can tell you. It's only in the last 5 years. That I notice Indians. I've grown up around every culture. And I just don't notice individual cultures in that way. Until in 2022, Trudeau took the guard railsl off the foreign worker program and the student Visa working program. And just said Hey, anybody want to come bum rush the door now? And India is known for having middlemen in India that work with Fake Diploma Mills scholls with brampton having over 80 of them that the middlemen work scamming Indians by telling them if they pay anywhere from $5000 all the way up to $50,000 even higher to get fake school acceptance letters, so they can come here to get the word permit and work full-time or with companies that provide fake LMIA job offers on the black market, which is illegal under the I.R.C.C, but that is a thing that they had prior to 2022. And when Trudeau took the guards rails off when it comes the requirements and basically. Made it a free-for-all and as India already had the scamming infrastructure in place that kept their population moderate and it just allowed th scammers to go nuts, so that's why we got mostly Indians. Other cultures do it too, but it's so tiny. It's not noticeable. The Indians already had the infrastructure in place that when they took off the guard rails, it was easy for them to switch and start selling these opportunities to go to these fake schools was over 80 of them in brampton t such a lightening speed. Hence why we got slammed so hard-and-fast with that specific community.That just really we're coming here to work and send money home and that is also why a lot of our banks are now struggling with cash reserved because they're sending money home. I have always made friends since childhood with people from other countries or background. I just have seen so much changes with small local businesses having a complete change over and I wonder where all the staff that worked their for so long are all gone, and it's now all Indians. I truly do respect and made good friends, it's just so many Indians compared to anyone coming from other countries as well, and there should have been a limit as Canada just doesn't have enough housing, as the population was always low. And yes I do understand that India has a mega population! There are some cute Indian women that I have met, but their parents want nothing to do with a white Canadian

As a born and raised Canadian I do feel embarrassed and frustrated when I see people from my race acting like fucking idiots because I know it’s going to lead to people viewing and potentially treating me worse, perhaps even just subconsciously. As they say we wear our race on our face and since humans are pattern recognition machines, chances are people will just take one glance at me to form their assumptions based on the behaviour of these fucking idiots. \n\nNow I’ve also seen people from other races act like imbeciles in Canada too, that very much includes white people. In fact I mostly see white people being weird or crazy in public. However the key difference is that there’s so many more Indians pouring in now.

Maybe theres some Canadians who hate Indians, but Canadians as a whole do not hate Indians. \n\nI'm a 3rd generation Canadian. Our mother tongue is almost never used at this point. We speak English, we took on the Canadian way of life and culture. Canada doesnt look the same anymore. I'm told White people are the vast majority here, yet I don't see that many White skinned folks like I used to. In fact, almost every store, fastfood restaurant, facilities, my own work place, White skinned folks are by far the minority in these environments.

they always say they are not racist, then they state that any that come need to have 'canadian values,' which is usually ambiguous, and i think probably racist code for white. as a white person who grew up in brampton, i know first hand how i was treated as the son of european immigrants, to my often scapegoated friends and peers from other asian and Caribbean back grounds. but luckily my life was richer for having grown up in a multicultural environment, where one could be many things, and their was a certain sense of cultural fluidity.

As an Indian myself, i highly respect the decision taken by the Canadian government since sooner or later this decision was gonna be made just like in Australia. These borders are opened to study further, and eligble people only should be considered to get permanent residency who would contribute the foreign land with good skills like Doctors, Engineers, and so forth, not just for menial jobs. For the sake of an easy citizenship, there is a huge trend to go Canada for Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis. They are not ready to upgrade their skills while studying abroad, and return home to contribute to thier own nations, while they just want to live there, yet still complain we face unemployment. Some of my nation students, unfortunately, don't even know how to speak English properly and pay a huge amount to their agents to go abroad. This is a good decision for them, but a sad decision for those who genuinely want to study in some good courses and wanna get into white-collered jobs.

Trudeau has taken the Multi out of “Multiculturalism” Canadians and Indians have different values and if we Canadians mention this we are shamed and labeled as racist. I have a few Indian friends and they even say that immigration to Canada from India has gone out of balance. Many Indian people don’t assimilate into western living and many try to find loopholes they can exploit. I don’t like that Sikh men can bring daggers to places like the gym, it makes me feel uncomfortable working out beside someone with a big knife. Indian people wearing a Turban don’t have to wear helmets when riding their motorcycles. If a white Canadian took a big hunting knife into a gym they would be escorted out by the RCMP, and would be ticketed and fined for not wearing a motorcycle helmet. While sitting with one of my Indian friends he mentioned how he would hate to be me, I asked him why, he said as an Indian he can do what he wants and if I say anything I’m shamed and considered a racist. ??

I have to say as a white Canadian i have met some Indian people who are the nicest people but I have also had some that were the worst kind of people personally from my experience it has mostly been those who have come since the pandemic which is due to our government not properly screening people. As for brampton I was going to school and my instructor was Indian and I was surprised when he started bragging about when Indians first arrive in canada that they are taught by there church how to take advantage of the Canadian government systems and legally sue people he literally told me that and i was shocked that he actually bragged about that and thought it was perfectly ok i don't hate him or any Indian people but that kind of thing does happen alot in brampton and it definitely doesn't help Indians in most people's eyes especially when there's some bragging about it .and frankly same with the YouTube videos talking about taking advantage of our food banks not good at all especially when people are relying on them to feed their children.It also doesn't help when someone states there opinion and automatically it is called racist.

I agree with you leaving. I am a 3rd generation retired Canadian who used to be proud to be so. Now I am not, in fact I am embarrassed to say I am Canadian as it is nothing to be proud of. I think of how good things were in the 70's and 80's while I was young and now how bad things are today and it is truly depressing. Back then if you are willing to work, you could make a decent living, buy a car, a house and raise a family - today, good luck with that. The people in the west have had no say in the faulty governments we have had as Ontario and Quebec have put the final nails in our coffin when they elected that buffoon JT for a third consecutive term and then the NDP kisses his butt to join up and torture us more when most sane Canadians did not ask for this. From Poland. Arrived yo Canada at the end of 2020. I am nearing my 4th year here, in a small village. I arrived with my 6-year-old daughter to begin my writing career. Now, 40% of my daughter's childhood has been spent here and I I go to court soon to fight for my child to be returned home to me. After nearly one year- a year of financial hardship because I have to travel without a driver's license and without a group of friends to drive me- I have my very first hearing with a judge in Youth Court in a matter that has no foundation to begin with, follows no rule of law, and acts arbitrarily. My child whom I homeschooled to the praise of the provincial ministry of education and was following a classical liberal arts education path that had her outpacing students in the province was entrusted to the care of a Child Services company (that has a record of placements that have resulted in child murders). My child's life has been irrevocably upset to say the least. NO ONE LEAVING CANADA GIVES THIS STORY AS A RESON FOR QUITTING THIS COUNTRY. I guess no Canadians care about their children like I do my precious gift from God. True, O come from the former Soviet Union where Marshal Law (Emergency Measures Act) were commonplace. I lived through two in Canada in 4 years: one Federal, and one through Provincial Youth Court where I await my turn to see a judge after my daughter was removed from my care. People do not know they have no biological ownership of their children, because I guess few Canadians value their children to care about their own laws. But these laws also apply to immigrants too. What money was taken from me during the move and resettlement, the government takes by creating more expenses for me than I could ever imagine or budget for. Emotionally, I am a wreck. Would like to see a native Canadian- non, white, not Indian, not Middle Eastern, not Black, not Latino and not Asian. You know, Canada's First Nations such as the Metis, Iroquois, etc.

Biggest question is... Has the Canadian ever been the native, the same goes to the UK and US. So what as long as you're white you're not an immigrant.. Give me a break. If those people come legally and immensely help your economic to build the nation I don't see where's the wrong.

This is SUCH a puff piece completely one sided that dismisses legitimate concerns as the only reason being xenophobic......Canada has always welcomed people but it was done at a lot slower pace where people had a chance to assimilate and build a life. You can't add over a million people a year with different cultures and pretend it's going to be ok. Ignoring the massive housing crisis, it's a culture crisis. A lot of the people coming do not share Canadian values, period. Canadians are noticing a massive change in the country they love seemingly overnight. You go out in any city and you barely see white people anymore. It's jarring. It was made into an amazing country by certain people and now it seems new immigrants are treated better than citizens. Everyone is in favor of immigration done the right way, but that isn't what's happening and natural born Canadians have every right to be upset that the country is being ruined in a way they don't want.

As a Canadian, we want to leave! This isn’t the same country our parents and grandparents grew up in. I don’t understand this “reporting”. If I go to Chinatown and become enraged after seeing majority Chinese population I’d say something is wrong with me. Go to a small town in Alberta, Manitoba etc you’ll see majority white people. People in the comments keep saying “Canadian” what is a Canadian. What values do born Canadians (such as myself with Pakistani parents) that other ethnicities don’t have which makes them unCanadian? Also a note on VISAS. Canadians dont need VISA's to fly to ALOT of countries. Were welcomed in far more countries than Americans. As such, we expect far less countries to have VISAs to get here in return. Ive travelled to Europe many times, no thought to getting a VISA. Hell, they barely look at my passport. White girl with a Canadian passport? Lol they just flop it open and stamp it and wave me thru. Also, were a member of the British Commonwealth, along with many other nations. As such, dont need a VISA. Holland and Canada are BFFs, you can have Dual Citizenship for both.
