Wow! That was wild. Here in San Ysidro everything was calm and actually civil. People waited their turn. I live nearby so I saw it with my own eyes. People at las Americas outlet would pass by food to them and the officers gave them the food. I was an immigrant 35 years ago I am now a us citizens and although I love the USA, I will always remember the struggles I had to go through. The hunger, the injustice, the reject and the cultural assimilation, learning a new language, and work work work until I couldn’t no more. All those efforts paid off and I believe EVERYONE has a right to have a better life. I have family members in Canada and Europe who are also immigrants and also go through these struggles. If they don’t make it to the USA, I hope the Mexican government takes advantage of this immigration influx, after all, the USA is great because of us. It’s time other countries take advantage and advance as well ??

At least someone is happy to be in america. Feel like alot of people in our country today don’t understand how lucky they are even with all the issues we have of our own. Of course this large influx of people is gonna cripple some of the economy for a while but we should hope the Mexican and other South Americans who do end up staying here after all this are able to lead a productive and good life beside us Americans.

If BW could see just how Americanized we are we wouldn't keep traveling to these countries and ending up getting murdered there. Maybe Spaniards and Mexicans think that BW are flaunting American wealth so they want a piece of that success. Nothing really wrong with that but there's a process to get in the US. I KNOW Black ppl make being an American look REALLY good but America has its problems. But comparably, many countries are doing very poorly. I HOPE that they work on making their countries safer to address the reasons why they want to leave in the first place.

Man, I really do love everyone who is currently in office for our government at the moment. I just love letting any & everyone into our country, not to mention the cost of groceries & gas is amazing too! I absolutely love paying almost $7.00 just for a gallon of milk. It also just makes me think about such better times that were...... I don't know, like three fucking years ago! When the average American could afford to buy groceries & gas, and any other essential as needed. \n\nNow we will find housing for all of the people illegally entering our country, while we have more than enough Veterans sleeping on the street, & not to mention that 22 Veterans a day kill them selves on average. But MS-13 gang member and Mexican Cartel members deserve a nice place to live, hopefully they don't cut off anyone's head during their stay! ?\n\nBut, anyways....This current regime deserves nothing but praise! I hope most people understand these are people from other countries not just Mexicans but to be fair Mexico should take care of their borders as well

This is what you get when you have a president that’s for sale to the highest bidder. They report that the Mexican cartels control the border. That no one crosses the border without paying the cartels. Does anyone believe that the Biden Crime Family knowing how much the cartels are making allows the border to stay open for free? The democrats and every single person that voted and supports them are responsible for every crime committed against the illegals . Here I agree we need to close the borders and I hope everybody understands that these people are not a Mexican ,They are Venezuelan from a different country. They can’t just come into our country illegally. Sorry they’re having problems in their country, but turn around as a massive group and fix your problems in your country we can’t solve them nor are we your savior!\nWe have problems here too we have homelessness we can’t take you in and add you to our homelessness problem go back home and fix your problems!

welcome to the melting pot where everyone in the pots is separated like oil and water. sure we are all here, but we tend not to mix or if we do it is through a bunch of rigorous effort to try to mix and when it settles we just go back to what it was before. SO sad for sure.. definitely wish that was not the case and only the food areas were the separation for if you want greek, italian, indian, mexican, puerto rican. chinese, japanese, soul food etc. Coming from chicago I get to see all the different food styles and places but again it is so true that things are way different from canada to here. Maybe in like 10 years some things will change, but as we all know change takes time.. and time is something we don't have much of so enjoy it and hopefully when I go see my buddy in canada I will get to see the differences you all are talking about. cheers gents.

I just hope you guys are way more diverse in what 500,000 you choose. We need way more cultures other than one specific one that keeps buying up all the property in B.C.- Our country needs far more diversity. I'd love to see more Mexicans. They're super friendly and hard workers, or so I've experienced here in the Okanagan. There isn't enough of them. Give them a better life here.

i’m typing this as an american native with 1st generation mexican parents. i lived all my life in suburbs , i’m 23. i started doing online school at around age 13 so i stayed home and basically quit hanging out with anyone by age 14. i feel i grew up online, no real life friends, didn’t get to know or hangout with cousins my age due to their own plans or schedule. i still live a very lonely life but this video very greatly shows why i want to leave the US. neighbors hardly know each other and don’t want to, they instead will purchase guns and be paranoid about everyone, despite all they do is drive to work, do 10 hours, come back. repeat. \n\ni visited mexico twice, i like the culture there, and i wouldn’t mind trying to live out there for a year see how i like it. there’s plenty of good land to work, i’m willing to work hard and i’m ok with eating simple. as of now i’m just saving my money and getting it into investment and hopefully semi live off that when i move to mexico in 7-10 years

The problem is NOT color, it's CULTURE. In Mexico, Mexican landlords would rather rent to Americans and Canadians than to other Mexicans, their waiters would rather wait on foreigners, and their cabbies will turn down five locals in hopes of getting a gringo passenger. Profiling is based on the accuracy of the statistical probability of incidence. Instead of being offended, be realistic. People have every right (and reason) to be reserved or suspicious for whatever reason they choose. Prove them wrong (without whining and/or rioting) if you want it to stop.

As a Canadian, I sincerely hope Trudeau is gone next election. He is so out of his depth in almost everything he does or touches. And by the way. Mexicans are now flying to Canada and crossing the border into the US. How I wish Trump was my Prime Minister.
