I will never understand how so many Americans thought it was a good idea to vote for someone who’s clearly stupid and who lies about practically everything. How? The whole world watched this horror show and knew exactly what was happening. \nI will never understand how anyone can trust a narcissistic idiot like Donald. This pathetic excuse of a man makes me sick. ?

Wow the United States got what they got because they voted stupidity, hatred, bigotry, racism,no experience, felonies, just to name a few?compared to these two men from Canada and Ukraine ?? who can read, speech different languages, have compassion, have experience, intelligence with integrity… WOW JUST BECAUSE AMERICANS DIDN’T WANT A AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN…who has everything thing in her fingernail that lil Donnie will never have? United States got a “good white boy”who happens to sleep with Satan???

I am Canadian and I love my country. I love Americans and my American family. What your President is doing is destroying everything he puts his hands on. He just wants to rob everyone of their natural resources and make them pay for the US border. We are not responsible for your side of the border. It's not our job to pay to fix your problems. Yet our Prime Minister is pouring billions of Canadians' tax payers' dollars on this. He needs to stop because nothing will get solved until your president stops what he's doing and starts paying for and fixing the problems within the US. I hope he gets booed off the podium tonight.

I suggest that the Dutch government will shortly decide to ban any export of the most advanced machines of ASML to the US and start shipping them to China. I wonder what that will do to the stock value of NVIDIA and the success of the AI-development programs of the big seven. It will definitely lower the pensions of many Americans. Me again. I too have something to say to the Americans who are struggling. Let me ask you all something. What does a country really need to keep it going? The answer is people. Europe has just announced an 800 billion Euro defence plan; I bet they’d be very interested in Canada’s critical minerals. Canadians will not forget this; this has damaged our relationship with the U.S. and it may never recover. We cannot forget that Americans voted this man back into power knowing who and what he is; they somehow believed that he was magically going to lower the cost of eggs, end a war and save the economy. We Americans have been mistreated by Canadians for a long time especially in Quebec. Hunters and fishermen who travel there have been harassed because we are Americans. I was never a fan of Trudeau, but compared to Trump he is a breath of fresh air. Give it 3 years and 10 months and Americans will be back to sanity. Don't know if America will be in one piece though. So strange to be a 66 y.o. American who will suffer the cost of these tariffs and still I'm in total support of you Canada. Please know most Americans do not want what Trump is inflicting upon us, our neighbors and international partners, nor do we believe this is a border issue. Grateful you're intelligent and a strong leader. Do not waiver.... hold your ground.

Americans obviously didn’t understand what tariffs are, didn’t get that it’s an import tax which they must pay on goods and products they buy from Canada, a tax which tRump collects from Americans and uses to pay for tax-cuts for the richest citizens. But one more thing Americans don’t get is that before this fateful day an unofficial boycott against ALL US goods has been growing since tRump insulted Canada’s Prime Minister and threatened Canada’s sovereignty—whereas Canada’s official countervails ( which only kicked-in today )only target certain US goods, not ALL of them like ordinary Canadians are doing in growing numbers right now—in fact, the imposition of tRump’s tariffs today has only made the unofficial boycott bigger and more organized. It’s heartening that so many nations have solicited Canada, offering alternative sources for common US exports to Canada —citrus fruits, pharmaceuticals, and other manufactures, to name a few.\n\nI don’t think Canadians even realize how big this unofficial boycott is getting because it’s growing so fast. I’ve never seen a surge in Canadian patriotism like this. Never in my seven decades —which includes the two Referenda on Quebec separation. And there’s a federal election approaching when all partisans will be one-upping each other in the patriotism department—which manifests in more boycotts of US goods and hospitality services.\n\n Americans should know that the unofficial boycott is more harmful to US exporters than the official targeted countervails because it features immediate and longterm diminishment of Canadian purchases of US goods—all retailers know it’s very hard to recover lost customers once they’ve found alternatives (and the added patriotic effect only makes it worse). Included is diminishment of Canadian visits to the USA. Indeed, the internet is replete with testimonies of Canadian”snow birds” not only forgoing their annual sojourn in the Florida or Arizona sunshine but also of selling their properties there with the parting shot, “I will never vacation in the US again!” Already Mexico has seen its visits from Canadians (who have had a modest presence in Mexico for years) surge to unprecedented levels. I know from much-welcomed temp Mexican construction workers in BC (where I live) that they view Canadians completely differently from our mutual US neighbours—and now that affection is growing like never before. \n\nI’m continually amazed at how uninformed Americans are about tariffs—and misinformed by tRump and his goofy, preposterous, and ridiculous fantasy of world-domination. When tRump uses the lame excuse to implement emergency powers —that Canada is “allowing” (as Vance puts it) fentanyl to “pour into the USA”—it’s tantamount to saying Ukraine started the war with Russia. The man is a tendentious liar and narcissistic megalomaniac. \n\nI have faith that the great nation of the USA will reject tRump’s crazy policies—we all just have to hang on and let the needless suffering for both our nations (and the world with regard strategic alliances) play out until he either relents, is swamped in legal repercussions, is impeached, or otherwise removed from office!\n\nGood luck my American and Ukrainian friends!

Us sane Americans are afraid of what this will mean for us and how we will survive, but I also don't fault Canada, as my fascist President has brought this upon us. And if anything, hopefully this might be a step toward stopping Trump's tyranny. I stand with Canada and I stand with the USA and my fellow Americans, but FDT. This’ll adversely affect the world, and will do nothing to reduce the nearly $2 trillion deficit. tRump’s tax cuts for the wealthy, and fElon Musk’s austerity measures will, and already are raising unemployment, and will further increase the divide between the wealthiest and most marginalized among us.\nThe U.S. siding with Russia, the two countries having the biggest nuclear stockpiles, is a threat to the world.\nIf WW3 starts, it won’t be because Zelenskyy won’t act to end a war in which his country was unnecessarily invaded, it’ll be because of Russia’s invasion of it, and the U.S. turning its back on its now former allies.\nThose of us in the states who oppose tRump and his alliance with Putin need to continue to stand up, speak out, and perhaps even do more. We’ve never seen anything like this before. Hate to say it, but this could very well be the beginning of the end of what was once a great nation. Everyone thinks that this is Canada standing up, but what this means is that the Canadians with our economy that is 1/10 that of the US will be taxed at 25% on our imports, this is going to hurt canadians way more than the retaliatory terrifs will hurt the americans. This may also lead to an escalated response from the US exacerbating the effect. Trudeau and others can't seem to grasp that there may be a long term strategy from Trump and this is playing into it. \n\nThe truth of all of it is that Trump does not like Justin Trudeau or the Liberal government.

It’s a sad times our government are only worried about themselves . They are able to ruin the country and do all of these because the United states is filled with hatred .The people of the United States somehow think that Our president working closely with our enemy ( Russia ) Is some type of alliance with working towards segregation toward other Americans they feel are less superior to other Americans .
