I’m an American and I’m embarrassed and appalled at Trump and our government. I’m so sorry. I’m scared. I’m overwhelmed. I’m afraid of what this is going to do to all of us, but I support you Canada.

I am an American and in firm support of the Canadian people, but definitely not Trudeau! Please recall not only his assault against the truckers a few years ago, but his desired seizure of GoFundMe monies that INDIVIDUALS sent to the truckers! Perssure later required him to take his hands off. And I've seen videos of how badly he treats Christians. I do not support Russia or China, but I do consider Trudeau to be of the same ilk. I don't worship Trump and will be actively communicating with those who represent me in the US govrrnment to let them know my desires. I am hopeful that in Canada someone better than Trudeau very soon takes his place.

Donald is not a smart man of course. But, in terms of approaching a fascist and a criminal, since Canada will be hurt, Trudeau has to be the decent guy he is. Brilliant speech, the best I have heard ever. The guy is poised and knows how to speak. He is smart and compared to him, Trump is incredibly stupid. Bravo. Let me be clear, Trump is a traitor, a bully, a conman, totally lacking in compassion...he is driven by his perverse megalomania and narcissism. He is, in reality a very mentally sick man. And the Republicans are his pathetic cowardly accomplices. Given the continued support, Trump will run American into the gourd, even risk a war to get the attention he needs so badly.

Canada is not merely a friend to the U.S. It is family.\n\nAs a U.S. American, I side with and support my sibling – the Canadian people, and their government – in this needless, stupid attack by the U.S. President against them and his own people.

I am an ashamed American who stands with Canada and all countries who do not support Putin or Trump! Freedom for all that have humanity.

We will purchase Canadian goods whenever possible to support your econony over our own. We will do more if it is required. The good news is, it will not last forever. Maybe building a Boarder Wall on America's Northern Boarder would be a good idea. Canada is responsible to guard our boarders and allow in only those who we feel qualify. Canada does not close it's boarders to those who wish to leave, nor does the United States close it's boarders to those who wish to leave. The United States is free to put up a wall and a boarder crossing anywhere you wish, stop whoever you want to stop from entering your country. I can tell you that The fastest Boarder Wall that I have ever seen go up is the one that Trump just raised between the United States and Canada, the Tariff Wall. What you have done is put signs on our shelves, buy Canadian. You have taken American Product from the top shelf, to the verry bottom shelf, behind the Made in China. You have closed the Travel Agencies to United States travel, nobody wants to go to your country, and I heard that there is going to be a 250% Tariff on hotel accommodations for Americans visiting Canada. It is not only about the Tariffs on Canada, who Used to be your friends, it is about your new friend Russia, who support Terrorist organizations all over the world, including the ones in Gaza who held Americans Hostage, who supports IRAN who supports Russia in murdering and raping women, kidnapping children in Ukraine, torturing and murdering citizens with their hands tied behind their backs. If this is what America supports, if this is what America does to its Ally's, I hope the taps for the oil and the switch for the electricity are turned off, and we never have to worry about each other ever again.\n\nCanada is a country with an Area roughly the size of the United States, with a population 340 Million is 8 1/2 times larger than Canada at $40 Million, with a GDP 9 1/2 times larger than Canada. America is a Bully.

Crazy to see how relations have broken down between our two countries and sad for all my great American friends and thanks for your support but anyone with half a mind could see this coming. So many Americans, even republican voters, now waking up to the cold reality of a treasonous, mad president allied to a Russian mad man, isolating the US from the rest of the world. He was basically elected to repaire the economy. Ha! Nice going you orange freak. The stock market is crashing like a Trump casino. You bankrupt two casinos and now you are doing the same to America. As a US citizen who didn't vote for the president (Trump) we have who is corrupt, self- serving and would have gone to prison if he had not been voted as president. Trudeau is serving the final moments of his last term, but his approval ratings shot up since the Trump presidency started. Trump genuinely such a crappy leader than other leaders with approval ratings in the dirt are gaining support for going against him. As an American, it’s damn amazing. I hope the next PM of Canada keeps up the same energy and doesn’t concede to the US. Things won’t get better until the world sticks it to us, because the world turning their backs on us is the only thing that’ll get through the thick skulls of anyone who still supports Trump.
