What is wrong with President Trump wanting things to be fair. Canada has charged the US a 25% tariff for years and that's acceptable I think not. They deserve a 25% tariff from America. Why do some Americans think it's acceptable to give America's hardworking tax dollars away to countries who show nothing but disrespect to United States what is wrong with you guys? Didn't this man resign back in January due to low approval ratings? Nobody takes you seriously Sir, not even your own citizens. So whats out of control? The color if people's skin or their way of life? Foreigners are family oriented, they are having children. Canadian culture is not big of big families and they don't want to work gard and do the little menial jobs. Asylum is mean't for fleeing government persecution and you are supposed to claim asylum at the first safe country. There are enough trans athletes in the world and good enough shape to compete on a world in Olympic level and all the levels beneath those, that I'm going to say that if someone transitions who is already in the military and they can still pass all the requirements to remain in the military, they should be allowed to remain in the military. Canada is taking 200 billion from America; Trump says you can't do that anymore, and Canada wants to keep taking from us; they don't even want to renegotiate with new and more fair contracts; you got my support, Trump. Why do all these countries think they can keep stealing from us

A lot of us Americans remember learning about the tariff wars in history class that ended up in deciding fair trade was the better route. I fear we’re about to learn the same lesson again…\n\nAs far as the drug trade goes apparently the GOV doesn’t spend enough time on the internet because the cartels are no longer just in Mexico they’re in the USA and in Canada. They have learned the Canadian border is a lot easier to cross and they can get into BC pretty easily due to relaxed immigration policies In Canada.. they probably don’t actually know where the drugs are coming from or where they’re being manufactured entirely. The cartels are probably a step ahead of them at the moment. \n\nI can’t believe the auto industry lobbyists were not instructed to go full send on the detriment of the opposite position taken from the NAFTA. The only thing I can see is auto sales are slumping and maybe they can blame this on the tariff policy for massive restructuring. \n\nI kind of understand wanting to negotiate with Mexico because they probably buy less American goods than Americans buy Mexican goods (drugs excluding) but I’m guessing Canada is a better customer of American goods than Americans are of Canadian goods. Why would you want to upset a good partner, customer, and ally!? It’s Beyond my comprehension…. If Trump was really smart he’d convince some factories to actually invest in Mexico with cooperation from the Mexican government investing in efficient transportation from the manufacturing sectors to the American border and the coasts for distribution. This would likely really help their economy and change the whole dynamic of all the things Trump has issues with. Fix it at the source not try to treat the symptoms.

When will people realize this is the way to force American business back into making things in America again. \nDoes any American complaining about this actually understand the trade inequity the USA did to itself with NAFTA and with our other current trade agreements? If you live in USA it truly isn’t an equil trade scenario, and was intended to boost our neighbors economy back in the 90’s….. in 2025 it’s just too detrimental and one sided in a bad way to continue allowing the same things/services to be done cheaper outside the USA based upon current import/export terms.\nThe old but current trade agreements benefit ALL at the USA’s expense. It’s not a difficult thing to grasp, it’s just not equil or fair, because Canada and Mexico (and south) benefit more at the expense to the USA… Americans just want it to be fair for us too. \nThe ERA of everyone sucking on the tit of America is over, because the American public is more than over it..

Canada, Mexico and China have taken advantage of the US by sending $Billions more into the US than the US sent to them. Not fair for them to treat the US in this way. The US wants FAIR trade where both sides send the same amount to each other.

Yes, and we are loving it, don't let the media fool you. I voted for Biden, then Trump after the worst 4 years of our life as Americans (the middle class, anyway). We don't want UNVETTED, UNFETTERED, MASS CRIMINAL IMMIGRATION WITH NO ASSIMILATION. We want controlled, vetted immigration and fair American wages.

Knee surgery comparison is a poor comparison. You chose self inflicted medical down time. The individual requiring knee surgery did not. You took down time because changing your gender identity was something you felt you needed, which isn't putting the service of your country first. I don't choose myself over my people - period. I don't believe that is the merit of a good leader. I don't believe the excellence in your skill set comes from an inability to establish personally what gender you want to be. Results in combat and protecting what's right in the air and on the battlefield have little to do with wanting to be a woman or a man. Get the job done, be a silent operator. It seems to me, that you care more about your gender than you do about your service to your country. I hope in the end, you get everything your heart desires. I truly do. But I hope you recognise that the world isn't fair. I don't think this piece by CNN is more important than covering what's going on in the lives of those suffering that need the air time more than this individual. Further more, the reporter - she just looks like an angry woman who isn't getting what she wants. She doesn't appear to be unbiased at all. It's not a good reflection for the CNN. I think fair reporting is fair, I also believe one should come across as unbiased when reporting fairly, here the reporter has failed to do so in my opinion. Out

People mad that we are going to tariff (tax) other countries who benefit from doing business with the U.S. but okay with the government placing tarrifs on our own peoples income for working and contributing to the local economy through commerce. Tariffs seem more fair. At least if they want to reduce the spending they do less business with the U.S. we have to work for an income to even live here. We have zero choice about income tax and in fact, can be jailed for being unable to pay it.
