And guess who's going to pay. The American consumer.

Read this American Trump is destroying your Contry if not he gets remove\n\nExplanation of Article 5\nArticle 5 of the NATO treaty is the cornerstone of the alliance's collective defense principle. It states that an attack on one NATO member is considered an attack on all members. This mutual defense clause has been invoked only once—after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the United States.\n\nThe United States is bound by Article 5, meaning it cannot disregard its obligations to other NATO members, such as Denmark. The principle ensures that all members protect and support each other, creating collective security.\n\nWho Pays for Tariffs?\nA tariff is a tax or duty imposed on imported goods. There’s often confusion about who ultimately pays for tariffs. Here are the key points:\n\nImporters Pay Tariffs: When goods cross a border, the importer in the receiving country is charged the tariff.\nHigher Prices for Consumers: Importers typically pass these costs to consumers, making goods more expensive in the country imposing the tariffs.\nImpact on Competitiveness: While tariffs can make domestic goods more competitive, they often harm the economy by reducing trade and innovation.\nFor example, if the U.S. imposes high tariffs on European goods, American consumers and businesses bear the cost through higher prices, not European producers.\n\nTrade and Alliances\nThe text highlights the interconnectedness of trade policy and diplomacy. Harmful trade policies, such as aggressive tariffs, can damage relationships with long-standing allies like Denmark and the EU. If the U.S. alienates its allies, it risks losing the strategic partnerships and security benefits provided by NATO and other agreements.\n\nDenmark and other EU countries offer trade opportunities but expect respect and cooperation in return. Breaking ties with the EU or NATO could leave the U.S. isolated and weaken its global influence.\n\nConclusion\nArticle 5 ensures mutual security within NATO, including for the U.S.\nTariffs often hurt the country imposing them, as costs are passed to domestic consumers.\nStrong alliances are critical for both trade and security. Conflicts with EU or NATO countries could isolate the U.S. and undermine its global partnerships.

Quick, Americans should stock up on coffee from Colombia ($1.5 Billion); cut flowers, bulbs, live trees ($1.6 Billion); mineral fuels, oil, distillation products ($7.2 Billion); pearls, precious stones, metals, coins ($1.9 Billion); and another 100+ products that make up another $10 to $12 Billion of annual imports. So, 50% tariffs on the total imports with Columbia would mean American importers of these goods would pay an additional $10 Billion which...of course...adds to their 'landed cost of goods' and gets passed on to guess who? The end consumer.

The fact that u have people on here thinking that trump won just goes to show the stupidity. The reason why Colombia refused the planes was because they were on military planes never in history America has ever used military planes to deport people they put them on regular planes. And who u think is going to pay for the tariffs American consumers people and meanwhile Colombia put a 50% tariffs on America. U have some Americans so deep in the cult that they can’t see that this crap is going to make it bad for the economy right now u have eggs at $9 and this clown have only been in office for a week.

Raise money from the tariffs?\nYou mean: Taxing the US consumer?\nNo one else will pay those tariffs the Americans, and no one will pick the fruits or work the meat plants at all...
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Why dont people understand that we are on the ass end of tariffs. The American consumer pays in the end.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Hate to break it to everyone, but the only ones who pay for tariffs are the consumers. You'll see them in the price hikes soon.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
It's extraordinary to me that people still do not understand that a tariff is paid by the consumer in the country that imposed it. In this case it's the usa consumer paying and not Colombian consumers. The Bonespur must have a different definition of tariff.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Thing is, tariffs aren’t “slapped on” another country, they make prices higher for the U.S. consumers. We pay the tariffs, not the other country.???
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Tariffs are paid by the importing country meaning the US consumers will pay more if they want the goods.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
The way trump is playing the tariff games will make Americans either to produce everything inside their own country or buy the same product for double amount ?\n\nN.B Most Americans don’t understand how tariff works, it’s always the consumer in the end who pays the tariff, in this case Americans.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
At 2:45 the reporter says tariffs will raise revenues for the country. How’s that gonna happen when U.S. importers need to pay the tariffs and then pass on those costs to the American consumers?
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
We the consumer pay for the tariffs.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
We the consumers will pay that tariff. I'm still waiting for the grocery prices to go down on day 1. How does it work for you?
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Grocerie tariffs will be paid for by American consumers just wait and pay
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
So, trump hits american companies buying stuff from columbia with a tariff. Columbia does not pay the tariff and it is not going to affect anyone but the american consumer who the american companies, who paid the hidden tax he just imposes on us, the consumer, won't actually pay in the long run because that tariff just becomes part of their cost of goods that they will add to their sales prices.
| 2025-01-26 | 1 |
The only loosers are the American consumers that have to pay high prices on all the tariffs. People voted to lower cost and the opposite is happening. ?
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
It’s funny how he shift from the issue of how tariffs affect people in the US to the subject of migrant deportations. Yeahhhh illegal migrants are the main reason why we have inflations and higher costs of living. The consumer gets the short end of the stick. Companies who gets their good from overseas pass on those tariffs on to us the consumer, they’re not going to pay for it.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Trump is gonna end up costing American's a lot more money if he keeps threatening tariffs, the tariffed company/country doesn't pay for the tariff's, the end consumer does!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
American consumers pay the tariffs. The companies pay the import tax and then pass the cost to the consumer. Why do people try to manipulate and tell folks something different.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Bottom line is that American consumers will pay for this action. The smart thing would be to establish a protocol for these flights returning. The country receives notification with names, stats and photos. \nIts represent a diplomatic solution so both the United States and Columbia can process. Now the returned planes with those illegals land back here a nd we will house and feed them for months at tax payer expense!!!!! Plus now a conference of all Latin American will probably refuse any flights to a diplomatic solution occurs!!!! If extremes continue we could endanger our businessman conducting business in these countries!!! Stupid as stupid does!!!!! Plus in most cases the product with tariff is being produced with an American partner!!!! The banana production companies are american owned or have a large vested investment!!!! So there profits will fall and they are traded on the NYSE affecting investors here state side!!!! Rise the prices here on our imported fruit and coffee. !!!! Stupid. Stupidity
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
When did the readership of cnn get so frikking stupid. The US is the biggest consumer country in the world. Tariffs will only hurt Americans, all of your costs will go up. You pay tariffs, we don’t. For Columbia, your coffee, tropical fruit like bananas, flowers are going up. For Canada, your gas prices, housing costs. Mexico, fruits and vegetables….basically your inflation is going to sky rocket.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Consumers will pay that tariffs, Colombia, don't be affected by that

What makes Trump the most transactional scumbag of all the presidents of the USA in history, is his pettiness. It is clear that Orange Jesus trwats entire nations the same as contestants in a dystopian version of The Apprentice. One of the many ironies is that his use of tariffs dooms Americans to paying ever increasing costs for everything they need or want. Just think of bananas which are one of the least costly fruits that poorer families may be able to afford and can be consumed by infants to the elderly with some kind of nutritional value. Thanks to the Gutless Orange Fool, even bananas are more expensive. But don't worry, the top 10% of Americans have 60% of all wealth so, they can have all the bananas they desire!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Ohh Gosh!! Now I have to pay more for my morning coffeee!! Please someone tell that Orange Turd its the us consumers has to pay that tax!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
The price went up how much is the consumer willing to pay
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
It sounds like tariffs are being used to fit his pocketbook (Trump's) and not the average consumer who will be paying sticker shock prices for coffee, tea and other foods.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
So many people don't fundamentally understand how tariffs work. America is one of the largest consumer markets in the world with the strongest impact on the global economic scale. Every country NEEDS their goods sold to the United States and tariffs make them pay more to get there goods here giving us a cash influx. while also dramatically increasing the competitive edge for domestic companies to compete against foreign slave markets.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
More higher prices for US consumers. They and US importers are going to be filling up the US treasury pretty quickly as Trump keeps imposing more and more tariffs. While his clueless supporters keep believing his idiotic lie that foreign companies pay this tariff tax. Of course while the average consumer keeps paying up, there's more money for Trump to cut taxes for his rich friends, himself included.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Consumers pay tariff costs....dumbasses
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Columbia doesn't pay the tariffs, the importers do and they will pass on the tariff amount plus administration fees to the American consumer in the end.. that includes the red hat cult members .
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Ultimately the consumer pays the tariffs. That’s what we get for electing a knucklehead
| 2025-01-26 | 1 |
The Colombian state will not have to pay an extra cent, the tariffs are loaded onto US consumers, increasing their cost of living.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Way to go Donald, now US consumers will have to pay at least an extra 25% for their daily cocaine. What a chump!!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Tariffs means that US business will pay an additional cost to import the product which will then be passed on the US consumer through higher prices. So the only ones who will suffer are American consumers.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
USA consumers will have to pay the tarrifs. You stupid people
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Prices will rise here,as we the consumer will pay for yhat 25%
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Which dumb ass doesn't realize that the end consumer is the one who eventually has to pay the tariffs, not the country where the goods are being imported from because it will get added into the cost of importing and down to consumers.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Companies that import products pay tariffs then they pass the cost on to the consumer.\n Trump has his head firmly up his backside.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
So if it carries on like this, Donald Chaos is going to be applying trade tariffs against many of his neighbors for not taking back their migrants that the US needs to keep their domestic economy afloat? So it'll be costing the US at least an equivalent cost increase to continue buying goods from Columbia (and other countries as yet unknown to add to the list) until the US has no sources left to switch to that are un-tariffed and more economic.\nThese countries will just sell their goods elsewhere if the US doesn't buy them, so the American consumer loses out and pays to finance this fiasco in the making = US price inflation. \nSo falling out with your neighbors is how to make America great again is it?\nWhat sort of successful businessman works like this and succeeds? Donald Chaos, the Art of The Fail.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
You the American consumer pays the tariff! Jesus christ report it correctly.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
All this means is that USA consumers pay more for whatever Colombia exports and what consumers will need ( supermarket food produce for example) ?? It does not help US farmers who cannot deliver to super markets their field produce because Trump is deporting workers who go into the fields whom primarily collect it !!!\nTrump is basically taxing the US consumers and pushing prices up !! The US importer pays the tariffs (US customs tax at port of entry) whom then passes it onto the consumer !!\nThe consumer can of course not purchase the product which would hurt Colombia exports; the importers would have to hurriedly find another source whom would probably also increase their price because of demand.\nTrump is a loser and always will be; his businesses are mostly failures; even casinos !!
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
They rejected Trump’s deportation method for several reasons most important of which are undesirable individuals and smart spies. Countries usually do that.\nFor the Tariffs, we the consumers and producers will pay the tariffs not Columbia. That is, the Colombians bag Trump and Trump sticks it to Americans. What type of jock is this.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Trump is just shoving MORE countries to belong to BRICS. Just like Cuba who can now tell the USA to kiss their ass with all those sanctions. In the end Trump and the USA will LOSE A TRADE WAR. Canada is ready to discontinue ALL oil sent to the USA making gas prices go HIGHER here. US consumers pay the tariffs.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
it does mean you'll (you, US consumer) pay 25% more when you'll import products from Colombia
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
American consumers pay the tariffs! ??????
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Someone please makes sense of this for me. I'm placing a tariff on Columbian goods because i couldn't be bothered to pick up the phone and work with my allies? I'm raising prices by 25% on OIL, COFFEE and PETROL which will raise prices for the very voters i promised on day 1 to lower their living costs.\nSomeone please make sense of these opposing contradictions please. Does anyone actually believe he's so stupid as to still not fully grasp and comprehend that a tariff is a DOMESTIC direct consumer tax and the exporting country doesn't pay a copper penny to the US treasury? \nTrump's policies are to remove cheap labour from the country, while raising prices on every product coming into the USA . This is the moronic insanity MAGA voted for and millions of Dems stayed at home to not vote against. What a monumental mess in a week. Encore.
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
But.... did the price of eggs and gas go down?\nAll those who voted for this, get ready to pay more for food\nI had to school someone about Tariffs today ? \n\nTrump’s tariffs could tank the economy...\nThough Trump inherits a strong economy and low inflation, he’s proposed a 10 to 20 or even more \n tariff on all imports, and a 60 percent tariff on all imports from China. The Budget Lab at Yale estimates that this policy alone could raise consumer prices by as much as 5.1 percent and could diminish US economic growth by up to 1.4 percent. An analysis by the think tank Peterson Institute for International Economics, finds that Trump’s tariffs, when combined with some of his other proposals such as mass deportation, would lead to inflation rising between 6 and 9.3 percent.

He couldn't get the last President of Mexico to pay for his so called wall, then embezzled funds raised by US citizens to build it, then had a completion ceremony, which was a lie. What was built was about 10 miles of fencing that was being climbed by sun down the same day. His idea was to shoot all those who crossed in the legs or dig a moat and fill it full of alligators. Now he thinks that putting tariffs on goods coming in from other countries will hurt THEM, but it doesn't, it hurts us the American consumers, so who he really wants to hurt is us, the American public. Effectively he has now raised OUR COST OF GOODS BY 25%. The same stupid thing he did his last time around!

Canada practises a dubious standard when hiring.new applicants to various professions, highly qualified and with the necessary requirements stipulated by the Federal Government of CANADA to the skilled labour migration category, such individuals land in Canada with their own reserves. Keeps seeking for employment depleting their own funds and are unable to find employment for months , and then not even. called for interviews at all , are totally ignored despite forwarding more than 100 resumes gazing at the computer screen for more than eigj6 hours. Browsing through the net for job opportunities, confined to a small room at high costs, finally if and when they are been called for one or two interviews at most despite forwarding more than 100 resumes, at the interviews they will be offered lower than the minimum wage for parttime workers. What a crime\n Here I am talking about fully qualified and experienced, as well as fluent English Speakers, actually better English skills than both of you here presenting this program. What a scam, first they say that English fluency is essential has introduced different Examination to assess the English fluency standard.. it is a big scam...while Canada has favoured immigrants from certain parts of the globe. As you say here. It is height of cheek of Canadian Authorities to offer lower wages , lower than the minimum wage stipulated by the labour laws, also as you emphasise here, high living standard's, High paying jobs, high Health standards. What nonsense.\nEven the PR Holders are not provided with the Dental and Eye care Insurance, they are provided with only the basic general health care benefits, furthermore after depleting their finds to gain qualifications to be eligible for the federal Government skilled labour program. they are unable to find employment after complying with all the requirements and regulations stipulated by the Government, they arw highly qualified. Highly experienced and highly fluent in English, the Government has not initiated a mechanism to absrb all such migrants.. and has the nerve to expect all such migrants to be hired\nUnder very low wage schemes. Whereas their job designations are entitled to a high wage category stipulated by the labour rules.\nAs you both emphasise here all from poorer nations or Asian or South East Asia are.not paupers nor uneducated, unskilled individuals who migrate to Canada in different fraudulent and corrupted ways while some of you learn and improve your communication skills after landing in Canafa and then learn English and then preach on UTube about the high living standards and quality of life in Canada unlike some of you who tries to emphasise here on UTube that migrants are trying to seek employment without having the basic qualifications nor the basic fluency in English. And you have the nerve to say, you don't belong here.\nMind you, they are there , through legitimate Government programmes which has subjected them into high assessment of their credentials as well as assessment of fluency in English. After complying with all the stipulated Government regulations, still such individuals are not been called for interviews, finally after wasting months and.months depleting their own funds, they are offered salaries way below the standard wage scales stipulated by labour rules for certain job categories. Some still accept such offers as they need to get Canadian job experience in order to be even eligible to apply for certain job categories, all though they have enough and more experience in their home countries to prove their capability \nAlso, the Job interviewers pose very advanced technical questions which they themselves do not understand or have no clue about what they are asking, or they do not use such high technical advanced methods in their specifics job caregories available. All these gimmicks are being utilised to discourage the applicants and to force the genuine Credential Holders who could definitely contribute to boost the Economy in a fruitful manner to leave the country and to force them to get back into their home countrues. In that case why did the Federal Governments of Canada created a delusion to migrants from around the globe stating that there is an acute labour shortage in certain high demanding job categories, encouraging all such applicants to apply through the Skilled labour Program introduced by the Federal Government of Canada,. as if there are shiploads of opportunities available just for geabs.\nSuch individuals are driven to state of utter despair or forced to get back to their home countries whereas here the federal Government of Canada is granting Asylum to all sorts of unskilled , uneducated and sometimes no literacy nor basic communication skills in English at all at the expense of the taxes and high tuition fees acquired from the student population as well as PR Holders who has incurred massive expenditure through the federal Government's detailed and tough assessment procedures just to gain entry under the stipulated visa categories. Whilst all such individuals who has made a genuine effort by using their own reserves and during their stay pay high consumer taxes and high rent are being denied to gain employment but certain uneducated hooligans and certain communities are allowed to enter Canada Scot free as Asylum Seekers through the IRCC refugee and immigration act and Asylum Seeker Act.\nHow unfair and unrealistic...\nWhen you present such videos be aware of your content as not only the Canadians are contributing to the Federal Governments tax schemes. It is virtually every individual who come over to Canada seeking Greener Pastures, be it Temporary Visitors, Tourists, student population from around the globe,.Migrants under different visa caregories introduced by the federal Government of Canada itself , all such people contribute to the federal governments reserves in direct and indirect ways. So, it is very unfair to say that individuals who are from poorer nations are willing to undergo harsh living conditions in basements within Canada. And they grab the job opportunities of the Canadians. Wrong again. , as the Canadians do not accept job offers which does not include the specifics wage packages stipulated by labour laws to their designated job categories ,, the federal Government has found a crude way to fulfil their labour market through these new migrants for lower salary scales as well as utilising the student population to fill the shortages for parttime and temporary job categories where the employer can get away by paying minimum wage and hire and fire as they wish.\nWhat a cruel system...Get the facts straight before you present such videos.....
