Canada last year had already agreed to beef up border security by $1.3 billion. Canadian troops have fought alongside US troops in several wars. As recently as a few weeks ago Canadian firefighters were helping put out fires in the US. Dumbest tariffs doesn't begin to describe it.

Another note regarding fentanyl, as an American I do not see it as a Canadian/Mexican problem. Canada nor Mexico want to sell Fentanyl. Drugs are a United States problem.
