Canada doesn't need anymore people from india or alike. If Canada was allowing people in from countries with similar values and beliefs then it wouldn't be an issue. It's going to take a violent revolution to solve this problem. All the established political parties here are all the same and are controlled by billionaires with a twisted vision of what they want the world to look like.

Canada should take in just a small number of immigrants who are highly skilled and only if they are specifically needed - when they can’t find a Canadian to fill it. \nThe universities and bs colleges are making hand over fist while people from the third world, are using the studies to get easy access to our country and corporations love the cheap labour.

It's not like this needed to be investigated. Guy said it early: an influx of more than 1 million people last year alone People notice this. Worse, a lot of these people don't seem to be upwardly mobile. It's importing a desperate underclass who are dragging living standards down. People in a 1st world country don't want to live 4 to a bedroom to try and compete with the new arrivals.

We need to stop the maddening greed that makes it impossible for creating housing for immigrants and born citizens. And the instability in the middle east and south sns central America needs a viable solution so people don't have to flee their homes. This world is such a mess

Overpopulation overpopulation overpopulation makes every problem on the planet impossible to solve. We need every government in the world to have policies that encourage people to have 2 or fewer children. As the population stabilises and slowly reduces rents will be more affordable, unemployment will be reduced, pollution causing climate change will reduce, loss of animal habitat and species extinction will stop, happiness and health will increase for everyone.

Young Canadians need something affordable to be able to leave their parents' homes.

Please, blame the govt. I don’t think citizens or immigrants are to blame. Finding stable work in Canada is a challenge these days even for permanent residents/new citizens. No guarantee of work even after acing an interview and building skills as needed. At this point I feel like immigrants are just tax paying scapegoats, who are used by the government and hated by local people. This is not real inclusiveness. Govt must give priority to their citizens and encourage immigration if there are real opportunities to offer. Everyone needs work and stability inorder to live a civilized and stable life. Calling loads and loads here to benefit the economy and politicians just be called third world trash isn’t fair.

It's a world population crisis that needs to be addressed. People in developing countries have to stop bringing more kids to this word and use contraceptives instead.

I like multiculturalism and this country is founded on immigration. We used to live near Trinity bellwood and the park is now filled with used needles. \n\nAs for homelessness, it's always been there and it got worse during economic depression (2008 mortgage crisis) and current prime rate/inflation situation. Even if you study stats from government subsidized housing, most immigrants work and get out of help but the old immigrants (whites) usually don't flip out of the situation for generations. So there is no reason to tie and blame the Indians for our old problem of homeless population. Stay on point and stop tying it down with non-related issues.

I think the pushbacks and overall migrant crisis are a way for conservative political leaders all over the world to keep their demographics happy and consolidate their careers. You always need an enemy to rally the masses, and no better enemy than a foreigner from a different country. They do it for the power, they do not care about migrants or locals

Problem is not immigration but how we are settling new immigrants. In the 1970s Canada accepted 200k Vietnamese refugees after Vietnam War. They were settled into small towns across Canada. That is why even in a small town with population of few thousands, we still have Vietnamese restaurants around the corner.\n\nLooking at the future, world is becoming more localized. While politicians are calling for setting up local manufacturing, they failed to comprehend the most basic economic principle that we need a labour force to have any industry or economy. Rather than setting up a better program to help immigrants intigrating into our economy, and stimulating development in less populated towns and provinces, they only know to stoke comflicts and scapegoating...\n\nI wish mandatory Econ 101 class is given to anyone running for office.

I thought of moving to Canada too, but it felt really impractical. Canada is expensive, even to locals. This is what you get when you prioritize corporations over people, making the rich richer, and poor poorer. High rise condominiums bought by tax-evaders, and money launderers from all over the world, instead of livable communities. Happens almost everywhere in the world. I think everyone needs to live simpler, live in the province, or work from home, the cities are really getting unlivable nowadays, full of greedy corporations constantly fed by their cousins in the ranks.

As a Filipino watching the economy of USA from afar, I think that no other politician has shown significant concern to help its economy except for Trump. He's pretty bold and not scared to voice out issues that make the democrats uncomfortable. It is not for me to decide who others will vote. However, I see a leader in Trump and he's not afraid to fight back. It's only a matter of time for the Chinese to create its own microchips that are of novelty and prestige. Their economy is of course stagnant as of the moment because many foreign companies pulled out from China. Nevertheless, do you think it's going to be forever? They will cope and soon establish theirs given their population and government financial backing. Trump was right to put trade war against them to regulate foreign trade as it did with Japan. All countries will suffer when the dollar loses the international prestige. It is fastly losing it's international reputation as of these days. If this won't halt, imagine a future where the Chinese RMB will be the basis of international trade. You don't know the real plan of the Silk Road guys. Americans are conquerors and we have adjusted with their ways already. And, the Chinese are conquerors as well. Their goal is to really surpass the USA. The rise of China has benefited every ASEAN member, but greatly the former than the latter. We can adjust with their ways. However, America and Europe may not be that ready to adjust their ways for them should they surpass USA. The USA has become complacent and too liberal where individual rights, although important, have gone too far-fetched. This has created entitled individuals who think they own the world. Now, look at the Chinese. While most young Americans are busy dancing in TikTok and the likes of wasting time for entertainment, most young Chinese are studying hard and upskilling. Let's remember that America became great because of its inventions and extremely the nuclear power. Without great minds, minds that are feebled by drugs and misguided philosophies, a society will crumble. USA can use its weapons and influences against other countries, but can it hold the progress of it's rival economy for the rest of the years? You guys need a leader who is competitive and won't back down from a fight. As of these days, given only two political candidates to choose for presidency, I dare say that Trump has a higher bidding for the goodness of USA. Of course he wasn't able to accomplish his plan before after you guys impeached him. How the hell can a leader complete its plan after being halted unprecedentedly amid his administration? Kamala Harris looks promising but not convincing. Aura, although unquantifiable, do speak something. Choose your leader and it will choose your fate. Let's hear what the two sides will share this upcoming debate. If I'm American, whoever wins that debate, wins my heart. As easy as that. You see, if someone can be defeated so easily in his or her country through debate, do you think that whoever that someone who wins will be able to compete globally? It is false that mexicans don't need visa to enter in Canada, the visa was imposed once again a couple of months ago after asking Trudeau countles times to do so. What else is not true in this youtube? Something true is that Trudeau's immigration policies are a huge catastrophie also for Canada specialy Quebec where most of the immigrants (refugy demanders) were entering from years from USA by the Roxham Rd and via airport with false student visas (India, Pakistan, other) and turist visa from Mexico. The thing about Canada is the the unaffordable housing crisis is also tied to high unemployment and too many immigrants coming in from the Far East and Middle East countries. Now that they are closer to the US with the best job opportunities in the world currently it’s best to come here at all cost. If it drives up home prices and rents no problem because the government is dangerous when it’s in debt needs higher tax revenue. It’s screws with the population that’s already here.

Even if the US votes in Trump (which they should) they will need him in for 20+ years to MAGA. It would be possible if you have 20+ years of Republican government but the odds of that aren't good. Sadly like so many other parts of the world, we are burdened with too many weirdo' leftys'.

Sounds to me like we need to build an international jail that houses international criminals. As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. But believe me, the regular people of Canada see what you're going through because it's also happening in our own back yard. I’m a U.S. citizen living in Thailand. It costs me $2000.00 a year for a retirement visa. I need to check in every three months. I can not own land or a house. The U.S. is a third world country.

Excellent video highlighting this terrible problem. TBH, the world outside of USA isn't all that bad in modern times. Its actually better. Many of these migrants already have a house, job and safety in their own countries. I Feel like the 'cartel' story is overly used to make seeking asylum easy. If the cartels are the problem, then why not go to the root and get rid if the cartels?\n\nFor migrants, it's a fashion and status to say 'I've been to USA'. They lie about their sexuality, oppression abuse and persecution in order to be granted asylum in the US because they know how to make Americans sympathize and make Americans pay their bills. True asylum seekers who need this benefit can never afford their travel all the way to USA. It is those folks who can benefit and should from the program, not the ones who lie, pollute and could care less about hard working Americans that are law abiding tax paying citizens. A country should always take care of its citizens first before another counties citizens. Other countries should care for their own citizens and their problems, not the USA.
