what a beautifully crafted and heartfelt speech by a true leader. no bluster, no hyperbolic ranting, just facts and setting out the stage as trump is engineering it

This is the type of speech hard to listen to, the type of speech you need to give to a country about to go war, make no mystake, thats what this is, and this is also the type of speech that shows who is and who is not fit for leadership, Trudeau you made mistakes when you were younger, but who didnt, but you sure matured to be a leader who can make people follow you from youre words alone, im glad we have a president in south america with such caracther on the side of reason and peace, with all the doomlike scenarios i conjure from seeying Trump pulling the USA to side with Russia and only imagine russia joining nazi germany just to get also screwed as soon as russia gets the chance and trump is clueless about it, youre speech eased my mind a bit, thank you and thank you to all the people of Canada

Don't let one rehearsed speech speak to Trudeau's competency as a leader. This wind bag has single handedly destroyed our Country in the past 10years. These tarrifs could have been avoided if his cabinet could have reached a deal and good diplomacy. From Germany here ... This is such a breath taking speech. There is someone in the US that has changed all good and all bad. The Americans have to solve their problems by themselfs. But we - we, the rest of the world, the democrats, the reasonables, the thoughtfull, we have to stand together, to work together, and to help, and if necessary, to fight together.
