I feel bad for his innocent children to have to go through this. You want to live in another country, you need to follow the law like every else. You learn the language, get the same I.D. We all have to have , and be treated the same as if any American were to illegally cross boarders! What we have to go through just to have identification here should be no different for anyone else! multicuulturism isn't the problem in Britain for Sikhs, hindus, Budhists, jews or virtually any religious or cultural group you can think of. All of these groups are completely integrated into British society ,and for them and with them Multiculturism works. The problem is with Islam which is a monoculturist monotheistic culture that doesn't mix, doesn't assimilate but does everything it can to introduce creeping Sharia law and Islamic social structures into the host country to creat Islamic conditions wherever they can and have the expectation that we will be assimilated in time into their culture .This is the essential imperative of Jihad which they couldn't separate themselves from if they tried.And in this ,they are a little like the Borg. so what exactly is the problem? there are laws in canada - no you can't just walk in a stay and get benefits. if there is misinformation in the community migrating north, then who is at fault? if anyone from any country, regardless of race, creed, religion, sexual orientation - anything - thinks they can just go to another country with no strings attached they're crazy. I get the feeling this is meant to look like a racist issue - it's not. if you're white as snow, speak english and carry a bible, the rules are the same - you come legally, and go through all the paperwork and checks that are required.

They did the same thing to my husband. He married a Canadian woman and had Canadian children... But that wasn't enough... Then he was robbed and assaulted in a bad part of town which gave him extra time only because the supreme court wanted to prosecute the assailants who had attacked my husband... If it werent for the attack he would have been deported at least a year earlier... My husband had legitimate reasons to not want to return to his home country (also Honduras) and aside from that he has children and a wife....\n\nThey say there are laws and this and that... That a refugee cannot enter illegally into Canada and become a successful Canadian....that they have to enter legally.... But how can they enter legally when they cannot get a visa in their own country.... Now we are pushing for humanitarian and compassionate grounds... But life is hard in Honduras and we dont know how much longer he can suffer there before he makes the decision to take the long illegal trek to the north once again...

From what I heard coming from other source .Also when I see them at food banks taking home more than $150.00 in groceries from just 1 food bank they goto 9 amonth .their cell phones are top of the line .Clothes and shoes brand name only .Gold jewllery ladys purses $300.00 and up .And they all have cars from 40 thousand and up . One place i never see them is value village .How do they do iit ?I had 2 kids and on welfare a few years back and I had a hard time trying to get some things that we badly needed and could not afford and things were a lot cheaper .The most I ever spent at no frills been on assistance was $75.00 for the whole month .6 years ago and no cell phone gold. or cars .So how these people do it ?oh and by the way I go ti no frills once a week .Those same refugees are there every thursday spending $500.00. on goceries and none of them work .Some time neighbours talk and thats how things are know .Our government is a big lier .We the tax payers are paying for all of these Once a refugee of this country one canot be sent back or deported so if this refugee never finds a job you the tax payer and I will pay for his or her assistance and maybe for a life time .like in the case of gypsies refugees they are all on assistance go to all the food banks rob the community of their belongins their cars items from stores donations in front of churches and stores they dress the best also spend hundreds of dollars on food they shop for clothes at the mall and we the tax payer brake our backs 6 days a week 10 hours a day like me and I cant afford even half of what these people can .So even if they become criminals we have to support them .Some refugee law and rights should be changed to ensure that tax payers are not been taking advantage of .

But also get your facts straight. These are people who fled to the USA and then when trump won they all figured they could come here. Well we have laws too.

I'll lay it out for you: Me: typical middle of the road liberal oriented Canadian. Non white, immigrant (I wasnt born here) I worked in a Refugee housing for over 4 years in Ontario. Most were not war areas refugees (Yes I know there are other types of refugees). I only encountered few refugees from war areas. ONLY 1 person from Iraq, about 2 families were from Afghanistan, 1 couple from Pakistan(I doubt they were real refugees they spoke fluent English, maybe political refugee), and a most from African countries. Its too far for real refugees to get here. Its Easier for them to go to other countries nearby or Europe. MOST SEEM TO BE ECONOMIC REFUGEES. Most were coming from Africa. Some are coming from Latin America, which shouldn't be happening. Once they showed up at our doorstep and we processed them into the system, they were immediately in the same class as a Canadian resident homeless person if they were making a refugee claim. We get money to house and feed them (from the government), and they are given a stipend for basics from the government processed through the Social Assistance/ Welfare system (they get less than a resident/citizen I think.). They then have to get their case processed by the refugee board, and most seem to get in. I've only heard of few getting sent back. One person I know at our facility, was given a subsided social housing apartment after a year in our facility. So they went straight from a shelter to a government/city owned subsidized apartment. (Didn't seem like it was a issue for the housing worker...they didn't report it (if they were not the ones that helped the person to get it), they were white, the housed person was Latin. This refugee claimant, and then month or two new Canadian resident person was given an apartment in a prime area of the city, instead of the 1000's of Canadians, those who came before them, and born Canadian citizens on an extremely long waiting list. How this was allowed to happen I don't know. The person was probably sucking on someone's straw. I'm just trying to think the barriers these people have to go through to get a job here. We are far removed from the time of the 80's and 90's., and housing and jobs are so hard to get. Lol the "Canadian government asks them to repay the traveling cost to Canada if they are sent back"....I wonder how much the government recoups?.....more like 0 probably. What a bunch of crap. How do you demand someone to repay their flight cost when they get back to their country?

If they can't get it through their head that what they are doing is ILLEGAL, then I don't know what to tell them. They think that because they are being hired by companies in America, that they must have a case. What a fucked up situation with these poor people. It's not fair that their country of origin is so fucked up that they risk it all to leave. It's also unfair for them to think they can just make their way to the US or Canada and live there illegally. The world is a big place an there are people from all over who want to leave and come live in the US but they have to do it the right way. My cousin is from Italy and she speaks 5 languages, she was top of her class and she can't get a permanent visa to live in the US. So why is it that if she can't get in with her qualifications, why do people from South and Central America think they can just do what they want and they get mad when they get deported?

Laws are laws you seek asylum in the first safe landing not your choice of wherever whenever. Why then can I not leave Canada and go live in another country undocumented then when I fear deportation just go to another country? Because it's illegal yeah. Ugh we are not here to be used and walk all over like a doormat especially if you are not working and paying taxes but taking everything you can get. There are plenty of people in dangerous situations like ukrane and other war torn areas that legit need a place he and his family were already in the US they shouldn't have left there to make fake claims here. Let's put it another way... I was born in Canada and I had moved abroad at 30 for work and was gone for about 10 years. When I got back, it happened to be the same year our PM was waiting at the airport for the arrival of some refugees with winter coats for them and their Medicare cards, as well as housing provided for them. I had to run around for a full month trying to get my drivers license renewed since it had expired, and had to wait a full 6 months to get a probationary Medicare card, p-r-o-b-a-t-i-o-n-a-r-y....I felt outraged. I am not saying that many don't have a valid reason to flee their country, but when they know that they will receive housing and cash, of course people will flock to Canada, even if they aren't fleeing something.

To all the people saying why dont these immigrants stay in their county to make it better---here is a little think piece because i used to say the same thing\n\ni used to say the same thing but we are blindsighted by your american privilege. My parents are immigrants and i told them the same thing, why dont people stay to make their country better? And they flat out told me it will get you killed. Americans have no idea how coniving amd evil leaders in other countries can be. Just the other day, a dictator from eritrea was bargaining prices with Israel to send back refugees from his country. He said the refugees fleeing his regime should be given 50k to be deported from isreal because they risked their lives. You would think he really meant that right? As soon as those refugees come back hes taking that money and sending them to a forced slavery like military program. There is no such thing as human rights. So if you were in such a dire situation, dont you think you would do anything to get out? The only solution i see is if the entire world could be under a larger, strong governing force that keeps leaders in check and can withold vital resources from offenders. The UN isnt cutting it.

Follow our laws & traditions or GET OUT!! Don't expect us to follow your laws & traditions when we go to your countries!! When people go to an islamic country they are expected to follow the islamic laws (eg. women are expected to wear a table cloth on their head - ludicrous!!). Yet the same is NOT respected for American laws - muslims do NOT respect our traditions or they would take off the bed sheets & table cloths while they are in our countries (as we wear them for you in yours). Maybe immigrants of colour would have an easier time if they actually acted like immigrants of past to this country, the Italians, Portuguese etc they came to Canada and they didn't ask for handouts like the ones who come these days from India, Sri Lanka etc who get on welfare. As a Muslim living in Canada, I don't see the harm in a woman wanting to cover herself, I wear the head scarf myself, but in my opinions I don't feel the need to cover myself to prove I am more modest or a better Muslim.  I believe everyone has free will and has the right in this Country to dress the way that the law has allowed them to.  No one has the right to tell someone how to dress, not even the Prime Minister himself.  Telling a woman what she can and cannot wear is oppression.  I truly believe that if Muslims want to live in Western civilization, then they should refrain from covering their faces because the face is our identity and People have the right to know who you are and what your face looks like.  You cannot vote with a covered face, you cannot cover your face in a passport photo, you cannot cover your face for your driver's licence etc... I am a Muslim woman and I say this.  It truly is a shame how the media is portraying Islam and the Muslim people as a whole, and it truly is a shame that Canadians have become so ignorant.  I see more ignorance and racism in Canada than I do in America and 9/11 took place in America.  If you want to know about Islam, learn about Islam from a Muslim, a Library, google Islam, or offer to spend a few days with a Muslim family for research to get a better understanding of Islam and Muslims.  As a Muslim myself I can understand the hatred and the ignorance because we act according to how we were taught and raised, and yes we have many extremists claiming to follow the Islamic faith.  These extremists are not only hurting Western civilization, but they are also hurting the peaceful moderate Muslims that value their rights and freedoms as Canadians.  I do not appreciate ISIS hijacking my religion, I do not appreciate Hamas or Hezballah hijacking my Religion because I am a very accepting person and a very open minded Muslim and to be defined by media as a problem or a terrorist is very hurtful and a shame.

I am a Muslim and what these people doing is WRONG , from where they learned this??? In an Islamic country you have no right to do this : first you d'ont represent the government,secondly this way you make people have wrong ideas about your religion , not even close to an advice !!! Please stop doing these shamefull acts and learn how to be an example for those who d'ont know you. If it is very dificult for you to live there : go elsewhere may be another country where you may feel better . Islam is innocent from these ways of behaviour . Live in peace with all the world is Islam and frightening people will get you nowhere but to troubles.

I feel bad for some of the good muslims but they have to get those knob heads out of OUR country and I am not one of them dick heads edl either,they have to understand its the UK if you dont like our ways and laws then move to a muslim country that does.

Britain is a secular country. There is no official religion. London does not have areas for Muslims only. Europe better get a handle on these extremist least you get Islamic Sharia law being imposed against the rule of the land. Best thing to do with these idiots and other idiots doing this sort of thing is to ignore them. If they get heavy then call the cops.
