My family came from Canada from India over 100 years ago we came over here legally we tried to assimilate I think what really bothers me now is that these new international students are giving all of us a bad name most of them cheat on their English exams back in India, and this is a known fact most of them can’t speak English and hence why they fail the colleges here expecting to be passed automatically. they work over 40 hours a week illegally and lie about it The government is subsidizing international students but they are taking jobs away from our students. We paid taxes my entire life and my son applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing because every single job is taken over by international students they are they are abrasive. They are entitled, they cannot seem to understand how assimilation works. They are so entitled and they feel they can protest out in the streets when they dont get PR. They came on a student visa and were expected to go home. They are now complaining and protesting at this point they all need to be sent home because this is ridiculous, PR should be handed out as needed not automatically and right now there are so many Canadians without jobs so we don’t need more workers. I also work in healthcare most of the students or their families come in don’t have appropriate healthcare and we end up paying millions of dollars in healthcare bills because of them, we have had families come visit their international students with no healthcare having strokes costing us healthcare workers and the government over $1 million. We don’t have the infrastructure for these students to stop. The government needs to stop subsidizing. The government needs to stop handing out PR like they’re handing out candyscamin India and here charged enough is enough. I will def be writing to my politician

This is a rat race , not everyone one is educated, not everyone has basic etiquettes and work dedication to explore the professional world, not everyone knows how to speak english properly or to express themselves clearly and they just come here as they hear or see that PEOPLE LIVING IN CANADA ARE EARLING HELL AMOUNT OF MONEY. People in my community holds resentments if someone else criticizes them, they thinks that they got the big brains and everyone else is just faking some shits and spelling something on them which is hurting their DIGNITY, PRIDE, STATUS. I should be ashamed of myself and i feel really sorry and embarrassed that WHERE ARE OUR THOUGHTS OUR IDEADS ARE HEADING. \nThere are some bad apples in the basket! Would be your thoughts as well or maybe not ? Yes the whole mtfk basket is rotten expect very very few, who are willing to serve or desire to change their and others life by moving to a new country! \n\nThe very big reason is that people in my community are not even trying to study ( SERIOUSLY THEY ARE NOT GOING IN DEPTHS) Education isn’t meant to be reading or learning and passing exams ! But what i criticize is the thinking, the mindset and the rat race among Indians - I would criticize this even if there is a protest going on or not !

The irregularities will weaken the administration of Canada and such students who got a chance for some way or the other slowly slowly take control of the job and other admistative affiars of the government . The businessmen and the restuarants owners should very stricly prohibited to invit such students or worker in their hotels or businesses. These kind of students and worker should send back immediately .

This type of video is fodder for the right wing nuts who think the grass is greener in other countries they’ve never been to. Good for you for doing something you want to do but Canada is a great country and I think you do us a disservice to the people who are staying and trying to make it better. I don’t know why you guys are not transmitting the news as they are. In Canada they are not banning Indians they are putting a cap on foreign workers and international students. \nIndians are the only that are protesting in the streets.\nWhen the economy is bad and there are not enough jobs for the taxpayer population in it I don’t think that the government will take large numbers of people from abroad

Once your student permit expires, you go back to your country of origin. If you want to apply for PR, this should be done from your home country. Work permits should be suspended while Canada is suffering with job loss. CIC needs stop issuing PR to individules who've overstayed in Canada past their permit expiry, not proceed with the PR file. This is a mess, and Liberal government has known about it for decades. No student or worker has the right to stay past their permit expiry, period.

I'm Indo-Canadian, and I want you out to. It used to be quality immigrants from India. The US now is taking them all (top CEOs, entrepreneurs, researchers and scientists there are of Indian origin if they aren't Chinese). But in Canada we're opening the doors to the worst of India - Sikhs and Sikhism (fanatical bearded towel heads). You won't be happy here eating crap from food banks and living crammed in small flats. So as an indian living in canada as an international student right now i would like to answer the few questions here which i guess the people in video aren’t able to so your 1 st question was that why would anyone like to come in this stolen land if there is lot of racism and injustice so as an i answer i would say the racism which you can see in comment section of this video itself about “deporting” is adressed in similar scenarios i have seen as yoi see the comment section there are very annoying comments such as “imagine the smell” so i would like to say that not everyone came here are workers in tim hartons and gas stations indians are also at the highest post in corporate sectors and indeed in restaurant businesses so to identify all of the indians same as many other is inappropriate , the people with no skillset and proper planning should be deported because no country needs labours or people without any kind of skill .the main demand of people protesting is to give them a chance as the people who came as international students have many debts to pay but neglecting that fact immigration control is responsibility of government not the immigrants .so at last i would say every problem has a solution don’t stick to the problem find the solution

Senseless students if Canada can’t allow to accept us then we as Indians have no rights to question the government. So there's been an increase on Indian vs Indian crime. The reason being, that the Indian people who came here in the 1900s are established and for so long, hoodlums/Indian government couldn't access them and their wealth or opinions about India. But with the laxed immigration, the hoodlums, who otherwise would have no access to Canada, have been let into the country (think of all the recent intel issues between Canada and India). You have raised the number of students, their working status, and the employment authorization for students' spouses as a cause for the housing problems in Canada, particularly, it's negative impact on affordability. This is factually true, However, there are two sides to the housing affordability equation, which are the supply/offer on one side, and the demand on the other side . If we need or require the affordability equation to be balanced, we need to deal with both sides of the equation. Furthermore, and regardless of the issue of foreign students, and their spouses, the lack of offordability will not significantly improve, as the supply is the accumulation of many years of deficit, due to bureaucratic, regulatory reasons, and the lacking, or the deficiency in housing policy, at all government levels, and all related taxation, budgeting, financing, and general economic policy adopted , or omitted in dealing with inflation, interest rate manipulation by the Banque of Canada, inadequate competion issues, investment in main street, instead of the Wall of Bay Street, political sanctions, and tariffs, etc..This immigration issue needs to consider the demographic, and labor needs of Canada, while in the same time, or in tandem, prepare for the required housing supply, and other needs, and requirements in term of reviewing the rules and procedures, pertaining to integrating the professional immigrants in their professions instead of excluding them from professional organizations such the medical, and the ingeneering, professions and so on. Many of such professional resources are driving cabs in Toronto, Vancouver,and Montreal. So to blame the housing crises on the immigrants only, will not define completely the housing crisis, and may not help to solve it.

Hate international students but love their money..!\nAverage international students pay around 41 thousand CAD + 20635 CAD GIC ....So total around 62 thousand CAD + living expenses in Canada including rent, groceries, transportation, etc....while on the other side, the hate gang who survives on the government subsidies who don't have any skills and live their life by doing unskilled jobs are complaining about international students ruining their economy..! Cut all government funding to universities and give the money directly to Canadian citizens who attend university. That way the international and local students can be on the same footing with no question that Canadian taxpayers are subsidizing foreign students while their own children cannot get admission. (The influx of foreign students is driving competitive admission grades to absurd levels, leaving Canadian students with relatively good marks, marks that were considered outstanding 30 years ago, unable to get into universities in their communities.)\n\nThe reality we have here is that Canadian taxpayers still shoulder the majority of education costs in Canada, but those same taxpayers' children are being denied education opportunities in their own communities because of foreign students. This has to stop, even if we have to fire every university administrator there is to get it done.

Why canada taking workers from outside because skilled workforce are not sufficient to run the businesses at canada. In between May 2024 to Dec 24 nearly 536505 work permits are set to expire who were invited to work under INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY PROGRAM. 70000 temporary permits of students also expired . If government is strict and the businesses of Canada not required these workforces then why they are not deported from canada. Only in sept 24 ,86000 work permits under international mobility program will be expired . After complaint of businesses of pnp provinces expired work permits are now going to be extended. To control emigration government should act strictly. Easy pr for Asylum seekers and refugess are the reasons for this crisis at canada.

On another note it is sad how the Trudeau government has betrayed and abandoned Canadians. Governments' priorities are first and foremost to their citizens but in Trudeau's Canada, it is citizens last! This is not an issue of racism. Canadians want immigration based on ethics and integrity and not on fraudulent or unscrupulous means.

I thought the whole concept of Canadian immigration is to seek new settlements in other provinces that are lacking population. I wonder if the government are doing that to put immigrants in those provinces and to build a strong Canadian society, with a strong-hold economically throughout the country. But that includes having the immigrants agreeing to setup bases in rural areas that needs a build-up. It's literally a settlers 2.0. But I see that as an escape from another place that has nothing. No is pressured to doing anything, it's just being transparent in what will happen. And in another way, the citizens of Canada will see it as giving into the country.

I'm an indian and the place i worked hired so lmia from india and laid us off ,these people were running interviews and rejecting Canadians while hiring temporary workers from Canada and india who used to clock 60-80 hours of work in India and here.Companies love slavery and hate worker rights to be frank,they charge clients Canadian rates and pay pennies making huge profits, all the LMIAs are now permanent residents what a joke ,i heard even low paying jobs people on temporary work visa in canada and india pay 30K -50 K to the employers names are tim hortons franchisee ,firehouse sub,subway and every franchisee owned by an indian owner ,he posts the jobs on some yellow pages and tells the government he couldn't find a coffe maker in Canada and there is a queue in India especially punjab and gujarat where people sell their assets and pay for lmia,the next government if they audit lmias and pnp im sure it would be favorable for people who did they hardwork of going thru the right chanel

The Fifth Estate had a great piece on what is actually going on in India and how this people are being scammed. They think that they're talking to a recruiter for a college, when in reality, it's a travel agency. It's sick how Canadian colleges have exploited the weaknesses in the system, and the government has allowed this to happen for so long. And now, after 9 years of Trudeau, the Liberals and the NDPs are back peddling trying to repair the bridges that the helped build and break. They gave the impression that I or any other who had a concern with immigration might be possibly racist or xenophobic. Our government weaponized words to shut our voices down. No immigrant, especially those in India, should be scammed to such an extent that they are living in a country they've never been to before that is bleeding them dry. Our government wants to conceal the reality of what's going on in Canada from the rest of the world, because they want this to keep happening. High cost of living. High cost of food. Government should not have allowed to bring spouses and their children to Canada while they are on foreign students visa. No other countries allowed this. This created a crisis in rental industry. They started draining our resources such as rental, school, healthcare…etc. no student should be allowed to work in any of the industries. They are taking away Canadian citizens jobs. To be frank, the PPC doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of forming even an influential group of Members of Parliament, let alone form a government. \nI do admire what Maxime Bernier has created, led, and funded the People's Party of Canada. Accordingly, the PPC's vote share will mean very little to the party. However, to the Conservatives, the PPC's vote share could make a huge difference. Above all, Mr. Trudeau must be defeated. In addition to votes, you could offer skills, and wisdom. Once Justin Trudeau is gone, we can go back to normal life. Putting country before party is good look for any political organization.

Im a first generation indo canadian ,and our government has let in too many immigrants into canada .for me as a small construction business owner it is getting harder for me to get more local jobs due to immigrants starting up their own construction companies and then charging next to nothing for the jobs they do.and when they mess the job up and don’t have the funds to fix their mistake due to their low prices,they either do a shitty job or walk off the job.

The only thing I would say cause you seem to be very young. Is that brampton actually in the 70's and to early 2000's used to be mostly a white and black community and then other cultures. I am born in Toronto I have a cousin born in Toronto who currently lives in brampton she owns a house in brampton for about 25 years. And is going through a lot mentally with the slamming. We got of people from India mostly in the last 2 years, but it's been going on slowly over 10 years and she's not doing well with the overwhelment of Indians and we're of black Jamaican heritage. So just so you know, brampton used to actually be white and then black was actually the second largest population and everybody else was after that. And then in the last 10 years they started coming but it wasn't in hundreds of thousands and then in the last 2 years it blew up insanely. As that man described is like an invasion. I now live on the West Coast of Canada and the same thing has happened here. And it's been a lot for me Canadian born. I've always grew up with every culture. I've lived and worked around the Indians that used to come here were literally not even on the radar. I mean you see them, but you just they just blended in because most of them had assimilated and were doing their lives. The breed that has come over specifically in the last 2 years is what is making it even worse cause if they acted like the ones who came before 10 -20 -30 years ago. They probably wouldn't stand out, but then again when you bring in almost a million, into all of Canada, they would stand out, but maybe people wouldn't be so agitated, if they had tried to assimilate and be respectful to the other cultures here and that is the number one complaint I hear anytime, I see interviews. Is people saying they don't assimilate? They're very rude to anybody who is not them. They are just interacting with the environment. The way they do at home, Canadians are more quiet and try to be respectful of other cultures. We like to just have their own space and our own peace when they're moving throughout this space and a lot of people describe the energy of the Indians coming in almost evasive into your space and then not really carrying anything about invading ur space. They act like, so what's the big deal if I'm in your space and that has been the number one issue is just the rudeness. Not assimilating and imposing their culture, speaking their language, not attempting to integrate with other cultures showing actually a lot of racism to some of the other cultures. And that has been the biggest problem. So just so you know, cause I can tell you're young. I'm North 40 years old and I can tell you. The demographic change has been so intense everywhere in Canada especially in the last 2 years. That I have even seen podcast with Indian people who have been here 10 -20-30 years, saying the government needs to figure out a way and get a good swath of these people gone because they are. Staining them with a negative brush. Cause I can tell you. It's only in the last 5 years. That I notice Indians. I've grown up around every culture. And I just don't notice individual cultures in that way. Until in 2022, Trudeau took the guard railsl off the foreign worker program and the student Visa working program. And just said Hey, anybody want to come bum rush the door now? And India is known for having middlemen in India that work with Fake Diploma Mills scholls with brampton having over 80 of them that the middlemen work scamming Indians by telling them if they pay anywhere from $5000 all the way up to $50,000 even higher to get fake school acceptance letters, so they can come here to get the word permit and work full-time or with companies that provide fake LMIA job offers on the black market, which is illegal under the I.R.C.C, but that is a thing that they had prior to 2022. And when Trudeau took the guards rails off when it comes the requirements and basically. Made it a free-for-all and as India already had the scamming infrastructure in place that kept their population moderate and it just allowed th scammers to go nuts, so that's why we got mostly Indians. Other cultures do it too, but it's so tiny. It's not noticeable. The Indians already had the infrastructure in place that when they took off the guard rails, it was easy for them to switch and start selling these opportunities to go to these fake schools was over 80 of them in brampton t such a lightening speed. Hence why we got slammed so hard-and-fast with that specific community.That just really we're coming here to work and send money home and that is also why a lot of our banks are now struggling with cash reserved because they're sending money home. So just thought I'd give you that angle. I understand you're doing it from your culture's perspective mostly but you're missing a whole bunch of information. So I thought I'd fill you in actually, brampton used to be a white and black city for a long time, and recent flooded in the last 2 and why it happened from that community so quickly in 2022

One protester was saying he is a truk driver. Withen 1 year he is driving hiway? So he didn't come to study. Also all security companies has to be changed, all are in Indian's hand. Before they arrive in Canada they have curiosity jobs. Even in Air Port they are working. The Air Port job is only for 2 community. Every one know about. So Canada government has to stop and think about it. ?

It is all about economy and business, The Government is collecting huge capital from sponsorship and visa applications and processing system, and Colleges, Universities are making lot of money from foreign students charging 4,5 x fees, also people they move to Canada ?? ? they sell their properties and bring all the money to this country to start the business, providing jobs and contributing in to building Canadian economy even more stronger, we can’t say anything bad to any community just because of some bad people. You can't change the rule of any country, it's already fair rules, and also you are an immigrant so if you want any rule just ask to your own country government don't make protest here in Canada.

It is the weakness of government to implement a sustained immigration policy. 2021 Trudau said bringing more students to canada and incorporate more and moreof them in to the canadian citizens in the future. \nSo thats why lot of students from abroad came to canada expecting their dreams to \ncome true. So in that respect their grievances are also fair.

As FRENCH, I think it is more an issue with policies set by both governments!!! You know you bring students IN and why don’t you build houses and encourage construction???? In France, many students (mainly Africa, and French departments like Guadeloupe, Tahiti or Martinique) come to study there (for free and we are proud of it!!!) BUT - unlike Canada - we do NOT have the same issues as Canada (our healthcare is NOT under pressure and our housing prices haven’t really increased that much as compared to Canada for example!!!) to me, the students are NOT to blame!!! It is the fault of the deciders (at different level) who have FAILED to set the right policies!!!! The schools are also to blame as some (not all) are so obsessed with making profits out of the higher international fees, which by way, subsidize Canadian students!!! So in Canada (not in France or Germany), the money that allows schools to function come from international students who BRING LOTS OF MONEY for the Canadian economy!!!! in France, it is different as the universities are FREE and are fully subsidized by the French government… but yes;) you have to speak French fluently to attend them!!! \nSo dear Canadians, do not blame foreign students thanks to whom your universities thrive and remain existant!!! Without them (namely the Indians too), the Canadian universities will struggle to find money and funding! Remember, the system in France is TOTALLY different!!!!

You know why? because rich immigrants who benefited from bribes, money laundrying, illegal business all go to Canada where lacks high competitiveness, such as U.S., so talented and skilled workers can't find a proper well-paid position inside Canada while paying unproportional living expenses. Obviously government benefits from easy money brought abroad. In a nutshell, it's a heaven for the rich.

The immigration file has been completely botched and mishandled by an inept and very stupid government. Mass immigration without a plan for increased housing, medical staff, infrastructure help, or even increased staff at immigration centres, etc. is madness, and chaos has ensued. I studied in India for several years, and was careful to respect Indian culture vis a vis dress codes, learning Hindi, and behaviour. It is only normal courtesy to do so. It becomes more difficult when numbers increase drastically over a v. short period of time since people coming here are not widely exposed to Canadian culture. This completely inept and corrupt government needs to go: like yesterday. I think of myself as anti-racist, but when I go for a medical test and see that 95% of patients appear to be of middle-eastern origin, while I haven't been able to find a family doctor for 10 years, I do get a little irritated. And I'm a boomer; younger people in Canada are competing for education, jobs, housing, as well as medical care, so I can understand people becoming angry. I think that currently this backlash is against the government, not immigrants, and not one community in particular. I am cynical enough to think that this government went for mass immigration because they have no economic plan for prosperity, and bringing in several millions would raise GDP. But percapita GNP has been falling for 8 quarters, so we are definitely in a recession. I think Trudeau did this so his economic incompetence would not be obvious. Anyway, that's my appeal: we should be upset at a government that caused this chaos, not at individual immigrants nor a specific community.

Indians, why do you go to your so-called country? Why don't you create jobs in your country? Why do you come to other countries and bring your relatives and pollute the clean lives of other countries? Is there any country where you Indians don't exist? Arab countries are full of Indians and you came to America, Europe, Canada and did work for cheap pay. It is surprising that if an Indian enters a country, you multiply like cockroaches and try to steal to benefit your own citizens. You have a country, go to your country. The lack of jobs in India is caused by the fact that Indians do not have the knowledge of birth control. How long will you live as slaves in other countries? Canada is not only a government, many countries of the world have stopped importing Indians to their country. Leave Canada, you will not benefit from anything. Your job is to send your money to India for your family. It is not your desire to develop the country, so the people of the world hate you and that is right.

Indians do you allow to move to Canada and filter into the US, before you realize, there are 1.6 BN of them, enough to make real Canadians a minority in their own country. The US will soon crack down on the hordes who take advantage of Canada’s completely loose and ridiculous immigration policy, to use Canada as a spring board into the US, their real first choice, to make money, and eventually bring more Indians as soon as they can. Liberals sold Canada to the Chinese, and the Indians or any other immigrant with a bag of money. How desperate was the Government for more revenue, after they take the lions share of working Canadians, but over spend more. Why the government gives indian students to work permit for 20 hours or 40 hours. Indians students are here to study and study only not to work full time or part time and stealing Canadian jobs from our Canadian kids. 2.5 millions Indians in 2 years entered Canada is a big mistake for Trudeau government.

This is an honest video and I like that. I moved to Canada in 2010 and I moved back to Europe in 2021, so I am a Canadian immigrant and citizen now. I personally don't blame the Indians, I worked with people from India and I love a good tikka masala. Only Trudeau is to blame in Canada. But in India there are people who scam your Indian students, telling them they could go study in Canada and then become citizens and this is why now Indian students are protesting, because they realize they have been lied in India. So Canada is not to blame for this incident. Students must understand - they come to another country just to study, then go back home. And everybody must understand - when you move to another country, you must learn the new country culture. The Canadians must not adapt to the Indian culture, the Indians must adapt to the Canadian culture. I remember when we came to Canada they told us that if we do a crime, we would be deported back to our country. And now so many people do crimes and nothing happens. This is wrong. My point is - the main blame goes for the government, but some blame goes for the new Indian migrants too.

Canada specially British Columbia is full of people from India and China. There are many economical sectors where everybody working is from India like private transport, taxis, 7 eleven, supermarkets and big retail stores. In the last 10 years the province became an Indian colony. Is this bad? Not sure because the economy is still dominated by big monopolies who have privileges from the Canadian government. Foreign Professionals still find restrictions to work or their diplomas never will be recognized. They are competing for low salaries and low income jobs that never will fill their expenses. Check out the bill spent and wasted by the government, don't blame the stranger, in stead of the government's failure. Every day, Canada is wasting precious taxes on many fancy but meanless programs. Looking at the health insurance system, looking at the railway service, have newcomers made it worse? In contrast, Canada needs more medical doctors, canada needs more reform and change.
