I'm gonna be honest, if your first point is that we pay too much in taxes, then I'm not going to watch the rest of the video. I am a dual citizen. I was born and raised in Canada but eventually moved to the US. I am glad because my pension is now in US Dollars. Both countries have their pluses and minuses. Unfortunately, both countries have horrible leaders. Wokeism and Progressivism are destroying our nations. The rest of the world is laughing at us. Our own worst enemy is our own ways. We are violating people's freedom of speech because we can't handle hearing a differant opinion. Both countries have so much potential. Our governments are wasting huge amounts of tax money, causing unessessary inflation. They are getting us further in debt, which will affect future generations.

I’m sure you’ll start to be reasonable regarding Canada. I had a good life good job & a nice home in Ukraine. Due to the barbarian russian invasion my family & I fled the horrific situation in Kharkiv city. I was driving a mini bus of 4 families! Most are children. We’ve arrived to Europe. Crossing many countries (Poland, Czechia & Austria) we’ve arrived to the country leading the EU. In Poland & Czechia, we’re treat very good by the people. In Austria we got hardly a payed hotel where children could get a rest!!! We still didn’t understand why they don’t want to give us rooms despite we’re paying for our staying!!! In Germany, I believe that the government did its best. But the number of comers is huge! Of course many they got disappointed as happened with me! But I still understand and believe that really the government & people did theirs best. So fast I got a job! The social connection helped to introduce me to the company! But i was not hired, I still to express myself & my qualifications. The manager was understanding, so he accepted to communicate in English and to offer me the job in case if I am successful doing the job during the first week at the site. I had to change the machines menu into English. So the manager was very satisfied with my job and I got that job. The rent! You’ll get it only if you receive the blessing of each member of the county and a very strong social connections! The doctors! To make just a blood work for my son it took 45 days of waiting! To get the doctor appointment, you need that a German guy call and get you the appointment! Because when my wife called, the secretary said: we don’t speak English! But when my wife went for her visit she figured out they’re speaking English better than her!!! My son has an issue of hyperactivity, so they refused to accept him at school more than 3 hours a day! And he was excluded from the birthday parties of his colleagues aswell other events! Other Ukrainian children, they were just attending classes! Just a show! No body cares how help their integration! About, the taxes! The half of my income was going to the government! The money back?! Only 200 euros/ month for my kid. And nothing else. Nothing! To get a neurologist appointment for my son it was necessary to wait 3 months! Prices?! Everything expensive! Technology?! Not better than Canada at all. Bureaucracy, Canada is much less. Banking system, Canada much better. Where in Germany?! The best province in Germany “Munich”. Where people stoped long ago dreaming to purchase a home. Guys, Canada doesn’t through broken people as we were in camps! Where nothing is human there! Canada doesn’t enter you in cercle of hell bureaucracy just to get your kid into school! And if he needs a support he get it right away without any background that he’s not our!!! I got a good job in Canada; so fast. Without any social connections because simply I do not have any. I rent an apartment for my family, without to proof to the landlord that I’m the best guy in the world with a witnessed county about that!!! I want you to be sure, that I am not the lonely case. Just ask Ukrainians stied in Europe for a while before they move recently. Just ask them. I am not saying it’s a paradise or cons don’t exist. Just paradise doesn’t exist! And cons are everywhere. Just I want you to be fair about Canada. Please, be reasonable! The cons in Canada are not catastrophic, and it’s not difficult to fix them. It may take some time, but not difficult. Believe me it’s not about only Canada. The whole world is going a step back! I wish that my experience, helps to understand appropriately.

As someone from Belgium that now lives in Columbus OH because of marriage, you're spot on with everything. Safety? Limited. Sprawl? Terrible. Rent? Eh it's not that bad. I make a base salary of $82.5k and my wife makes $50k. Our 2br 1ba apartment's rent is about $1000. It's a nice place, but it has some flaws. Our next place will be around $1500. I've told my wife I don't like the sprawl and lack of public transport here and I want to move to a place where that is less of an issue: Chicago, NYC or Boston. However, the latter two have crazy high rent.\n\nI must add, the terribly unsupported public education system in Columbus is by far the worst reason. My wife is a teacher at a Columbus City School that's almost 100% black. White families put their kids through private schools. The rest of the kids have terrible home lives and are therefore incredibly ill-behaved and under-educated. So much so that the teachers just CANNOT keep up with Ohio's learning standards. By the time these kids graduate (and that's a big IF), they would have learned about 20% of what a regular 18-year old would have learned in most of the world. This is in part due to:\n1. Parents that do not involve themselves in what their children do, and therefore do not discipline appropriately.\n2. Terrible school admins that force teachers to lower their standards to have a high passing rate for the school (otherwise it gets shut down). Also, due to the No Child Left Behind Act, admins also force teachers to teach how to pass state tests (repetitive bullshit) instead of important learning materials and/or critical thinking skills.\n3. A lot of these students are pushed into the gang lifestyle and see no future in their education. They don't even try.\n4. Burned out teachers that grew tired of the negative ROI and start giving out poor and inadequate work packets. However, I don't like blaming teachers, especially because my wife is the hardest working person I know.\n\nIt's hard to see my wife come back every day, exhausted. It pains me both for her and her kids. America doesn't give a fuck about education. The big theory is that they're purposely not giving public schools attention so they can be phased out and private education becomes the norm. And if you can't afford it? That's great, we need factory workers.\n\n\nI might convince my wife to move to Europe eventually (luckily a European marriage visa isn't as stupidly hard to obtain as it was for me to get here). Having kids in America is not something I'd like to think about. For now, I'm taking advantage of this high salary to save as much as I can and focus on advancing in my career. I think you ladies are way out in left field and you really don't know what you're talkin about. Unfortunately for some people it doesn't work out for whatever reason usually because they do not want to assimilate very well. I grew up in Ontario to a french-canadian father and an Italian mother in my life in Canada was so perfect said if I had to dream up a better life I could not have done so. I grew up playing all the sports and enjoyed all the different sports and the changes of seasons. My parents had a summer home on the st-lawrence river and every summer we water-ski swam fished, play golf in the morning and barbecues every night right on the water. Even though my grandfather was in the hotel business I was all about sports and enjoying everything about it. I grew up in a town of about 50 thousand about 40 miles from Montreal. When I wanted some great nightlife just drove a short drive to Montreal and it had everything did anyone could want in Nightlife. I have lived in United States for forty years and I can tell you that it really isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Heaven forbid should you get some kind of catastrophic illness you are screwed. I knew a woman who work for travelers insurance for 30 years at the best insurance a money could buy had suffered a couple of strokes and was on the verge of going broke had she not died when she died. People think that insurance continues to pay his long as you're ill and nothing could be further from the truth. This lady was going to have to sell her house to continue paying for round-the-clock care had she not died when she did. United States middle class is getting wiped out. I've seen enough poverty and hardship in this country to last a lifetime. I find greed to be running rampant in this country. When I grew up in Canada there was always the grass is greener on the other side and when I did move over to the other side the US that is I can tell you unequivocally the dead grass is not greener on the other side. There are more millions and millions of people here that are one or two paychecks away from being homeless. And we're talkin 2023. Now let's talk about violence. There is a mass murder in the United States every single day of the year. And a mass murder is defined by four or more people being killed by one person at one time. Killing these so out of control in the United States that now even six-year-olds are shooting their teacher. I find a tremendous amount of built-up Anger from people. Food is very expensive and shelter is also out of control and non affordable to most people. Again I find United States being able to paint a much Rosier picture then does really exist. And there are more con artists and thieves , Crooks, con-artists, bamboozlers, cheats and scammers then anywhere that I've ever been. And I will say this is it it ain't getting any better and I don't see it ever getting better. I find it is everybody out for themselves no matter who they cheat. I live in Southern California and I can tell you that night life where I live is non-existent. Understand that LA and Hollywood they always have to glamorize everything to sell it to tourists. Just remember that things today are not what they were 40 years ago. Middle-class people in Canada would also be just middle-class people in the US. But if your life means anything to you as far as safety and raising a family then Canada wins hands down end of discussion. People that say Canada is boring is because they are boring. That's what I found to be pretty standard across the board. Life is what you make of it. But I will say that you gals definitely need to move away if you don't like Canada. Do not let the door hit your ass on the way out. And just for your information Canada ranks annually as one of the top countries in the world to immigrate to. Canada is the second largest country in the world by land area and next to Saudi Arabia has the third largest oil Reserves in the world. Canada has huge amount of freshwater which most of the rest of the world seems to be lacking and having spent my Summers on the Saint Lawrence River one of the Great Rivers in this world. I wouldn't change my twenty years in Canada for anyplace else in this world and I will be moving back shortly.

Does anyone have any idea why mental illness is so common in North American countries? What are the conditions that differ in this region from the rest of the world? This situation caught my attention during my travels to Toronto and New York.

I lived in Ontario for more than half my life, and making fun of Quebec was a cornerstone of life. If you take away montreal which is a huge outlier from the rest of the province you end up with mostly xenophobic hillbillies, lower wages, dilapidated infrastructure that becomes immediately apparent the second you cross the border, highest income tax in the country offsetting their modest property taxes, and some of the most ridiculous provincial laws ever written to preserve their French culture. My previous employer literally could not sell their medical service software in Quebec because it was not practical for them to comply with localization laws even though French language was fully supported. I personally rank rural Quebec as the worst place to live in Canada because it's one of the only places in the world that prevents businesses from operating there over bullshit like font sizes on packaging or other graphics.

My question, and I know I'm gonna get eaten alive, is why so many Indians? What about people from the rest of the world? Canada feels like India these days. I would like to see more diversity. Also, Canada needs to do better about making sure there's more diversity in its numbers. Also, Canada needs to ensure colleges don't charge so much more. Afterall, we who eventually get PR will be paying taxes too (which is the rationale given for why local students pay less).

I studied in Canada, but I disappointed by the racism in the professional world especially the well paying government jobs…it was like a syndicate where Chinese will push for a Chinese to be hired, whites do the same, Indians do the same…the rest of the other races like blacks, Iranians, Arabs etc you have to literally have to fight your way into the system…you have to prove and kiss peoples feet to get hired….I just packed my bags and left Canada..

Life in Eastern Canada (Quebec and Ontario) is way better. \n\n2) Weather : rain during winter is really a BC thing, the rest of the country : is SNOW and cold for 4-5 months\n\n3) Again, the cost of living is super expensive in Vancouver and Toronto. Here, in Montréal, it’s affordable.\n\n4) The more taxes you pay means you are making good money. 50% of taxes is \n\n5) Canada is beautiful, but if you don’t like our country, why did you came here in the first place ? \n\n6) Covid : Mmm it was maybe extreme, but Canada is one of the country that manages the best the pandemic in the world \n\n7) Rules ? Try coming to South America where I was born. There’s a lot more rules there and good luck for your safety \n\n8) Politic ! We are actually one of the most democratic country in the world. People fighting about politics? Ahahah I grow up here and never saw this ever and I saw the 1995 referendum.\n\n9) Status chasing is a really Vancouver thing, probably Toronto too, but the country is huge.\n\n10) Isolated place, mmm again Vancouver is not Canada. Canada is like 3 countries in one, so it really depends where you are, especially if you wish to talk about culture. Im guessing you are in western Canada because that part is one of the youngest parts of Canada, it doesnt have much culture. Tho if you are in central Canada (Ontario) you'll most get a blend of american and english culture. The place where hawaiian and canadian pizza invented. Ontario is obsessed with pizza. \nTho the Eastern part is where Canadian culture is at its strongest AKA French Canada. Thats where most Canadian traditions like the Rigodon music and traditional food comes from such as: Pâté Chinois, Tourtière, Poutine, Donair, Poudigne Chômeur, Tarte au Sucre, Tarte au Fraise et Rhubarb and so on. French Canada even has its own version of french, its so different from the rest of the world that when a when they meet they wont understand half the words each sides say. French Canadian is based on the old french of the French nobility tho it completely disapeared in France during the revolutionary era because everyone that spoke it got executed. So french Canadian is basically a unique language now, i can totally see it getting rename as Canadian the language of Canada in the future especially of the west does indeed seperate. Many leave their own country, and come to Canada BECAUSE of their dislikes; extremism, culture, religion, laws, identity and in some cases backwards thinking; attempt to turn what we in society would consider as sexist, and discriminatory in some examples….\n\n…however when those same individuals finally achieve citizenship, or in some cases this starts (attempt to change Canadian law(s)) before obtaining citizenship, making moves to force the above, everything they despised, hated or disliked about their own country, into this new country ? This is basically a commercial for anyone who lives in Quebec who isn’t French to learn French.\nI Will (but the Gouvernement de Québec Won’t) leave that up to you.\nThe producers left out the following:\n- Current and Coming Major Increases in Language Strife (FRENCH Vs English) lead by the Provincial Gouvernement. -Bill 96\n- Current unwelcoming or tolerance of religiously oriented communities -Bill 21\n- Oddly the French Public School system has a terribly high drop out rate for boys compared to the English System (which is under attack from Bills - 101 & 96).\n- The Healthcare System is in Shambles as increasingly demonstrated by its inability to deal with Covid. It is so bad (in terms of available resources) that the Gouvernement has been forced to have some of the most repressive and restrictive measures (including curfews) in the entire world in order to keep its medical system and hospitals from collapse.\n\nI don’t know what to do with the ranking but making Quebec # 1 very much diminishes the validity of the rest of this video and that’s ashame.

I don’t agree with Quebec as a whole being up so high on the list. They have their own tax and medical system , much higher cost. You must have your children in a unilingual French School unless you have substantial proof that they have a solid English background. English speakers for the most part are ostracized in most of Quebec except some areas of Montreal. All government work places speak only French and there are no English rights in Quebec unless you work for the government of Canada and then good luck getting a job in Quebec as they are designated a unilingual French language speaking province for Canadian government jobs and you won’t qualify unless you speak and read and write French. All signage is restricted to French and the province doesn’t follow any international standards. Even the air traffic controllers only speak French which is why most major airlines don’t fly into Quebec as the standard of language for them is English world wide except Quebec. They have different road rules, tax legislation and pension than the rest of Canada. Wouldn’t want to live there myself. I have a sister in Montreal. Don’t know why she stays.

The East India Company mostly consisted of British Troops whose Job was to Attack, Occupy & Loot wealth of different countries in the world. \nThat looted and Plundered wealth was then transferred to Great Britain (UK) so that these British army and Civil servants could spend the rest of their lives in total Luxury and Pleasure in the UK, on this Plundered Wealth from poor countries. \n\nBefore independence, Whenever the People of occupied countries, for example in India tried to protest against the occupying British Army , this British Army would Recruit the local people in the army and would use these same local people in attacking, suppressing and killing their poor country men. \n\nAn example is the massacre of Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, on 13th April 1919 , where the hindu, sikh and muslim soldiers recruited by the British Army , opened machine gun fire on protestors who were unarmed Women, childrens and men. and killed Thousands of them in cold blood. \n\nAnother example is the Babra Massacre which occured in Charsaddah KPK, Pakistan, on 12 August 1948, when the Pak army soldiers recruited by the British Army, opened fire on unarmed protestors and killed thousands of their innocent fellow muslims. \n\nAfter independence the Looting, oppression, killing and corrupt practices of British Army were adopted by Pak Army who mercilessly oppressed, killed and looted the poor Pakistani Nation. \n\nInstead of waging Jihad on their own, the Pakistani army sent Childrens of poor parents to Madrassahs and converted them into mujahiden and taliban, and sent them to fight in Afghanistan and Kashmir. \nWhile the army was itself busy in occupying lands and plots in Pakistan. \nFor american dollars then this army bombed, killed and Handed over innocent Pakistanis to American guantanomo bay. \n\nWhen india removed article 370, then this army got so afraid that it didn’t do anything against india and even couldn’t send the mujahiden and Taliban to fight india. Instead they agreed to everything india said. \n\nAfter retirement almost every High ranking officer of Pakistan army goes abroad to USA, UK & Australia and enjoy life on the money looted from poor people of Pakistan. While the poor people of Pakistan have been handed over to a False Khalifah called imran niazi who has sucked the remaining blood and eaten the bones of poor Pakistanis. \nWhile the Pakistani Nation is asleep in their homes , living miserable lives and waiting for their miserable death, and do nothing against this oppression and inflation

Making money is easy. A better reason to migrate to Canada is the world’s highest fresh water resource, a lot less polluted environment, high human development index, way less corruption and low bureaucratic hurdles. Try getting into an accident in India, I bet an ambulance won’t come pick you up for an hour at least. Present day corona crisis is highly evident of the healthcare system failure in our country. Very well done! In Canada we are not really patriotic, we love being canadian but we ca speak more freely against it then in the US. We are more free in general because of the global safety. The culture is not only related to money. And lastly we are more aware or interested in the rest of the world. That being sais the last 4 years had destroyed the american brand, so I hope that Canadian way of living will rub off on the US so it would create a more stable and better world.
