So PM Trudeau sets tariffs on goods coming in from the US causing CAnidian citizens to pay more for goods imported from the US.\nHaving said that, I do see that PM Trudeau will be causing Canadian citizens to stop buying imported US products, slapping Trump in the face and causing hardship to US manufacturers. I personally think Trump is after Canada to become part of the US. So, he's making stuff up to make the countries leadership look stupid. He thinks his tariffs will cause great financial destruction in such a way that Canada will fall apart, and then he will swoop in and grab her up. His greedy nubby hands want what he doesn't have. I can't wait for these four years to pass.

Presumably the whole point of tariffs on Canada is to raise revenues to cover the tax cuts for the oligarchs that he hopes will keep his or his family permanently in power. From that point of view it makes sense to put the tariffs on the biggest trade partners. The tax breaks the oligarchs get will allow them to buy up and control the media on his behalf. Nothing to do with fentanyl. That's just a lie that US citizens are stupid enough to swallow.

Trump is so clearly compromised to Russia and Putin. His every action is to destroy America and to aid Putin. American voters disgraced themselves and their country by voting for a corrupt, stupid, rapist and wannabe dictator. I feel bad for Ukraine and Europe that Trump is aiding Russia over supporting our best allies.
