At 9:50, the lady in black, she is a total hypocrite! She doesn't like the over populated immigration but she herself sounds like an immigrant! She mentioned she is French, and I am guessing she is from France? Look who is calling the kettle black! Like most if not all, they are looking for opportunities. Learning English is not going to happen over night! Then at 13:12, the presenter points out an interesting observation. He noted that drug problems, he didn't see any Indians with drug problems (although, I am sure drug problems exist in all ethnicities) but notably he saw white Canadians with this problem. Indians weren't camping out at shelters begging for hand outs. So, why are Indians being blamed? Just because there are TOO MANY? That is ridiculous. Moreover, I think these losers are just jealous because Indians and/or other immigrants come to Canada, seeking that dream and have worked hard for it. They pay their taxes and taxes fund government hand out programs, like the presenter noted, to drug seeking white Canadians!

Those ‘vigilantes’ don’t even seem to know what they are, wearing trousers and skirts at the same time. They look ridiculous. Nature’s warning sign. How else would you know who to avoid ....

I moved to London, UK. Got a job in finance. Bought a house in Zone 2. Pricey but still affordable. But i can't now move back to Canada because the house to salary ratio is ridiculous.

Hey I’m Canadian and I feel bad new comers coming here looking to realize a better life when the reality of that matter the things they can access and freedoms they can have will be limited. There’s a serious medical access and to find a family doctor or wait 12 hours at the hospital. Also when people are professionals like engineers or doctors they have to start from scratch that’s amazing how many doctors or other high level professionals I met as a waiter, taxi driver, working min wage in a store…Oh boy the insane proportions of the housing is ridiculous to say the least. There’s people with 9-5 making 50k at the food banks, now low income people make less wayyy less. So I think they are even turning away international students. It’s quite unfortunate and not realistic. I live in Montreal. You know to know french here Quebec french. Well the increase in crime is because people are getting desperate and are in poverty and desperate. What n unfortunate situation.

Thank you for this story, Harrison. We have lived in Brampton for 17 years and no longer like it. The only reason we are staying right now is because our son is taking a three year college course and has only just about completed one year. Another related topic that you covered was about the high cost of rents and the ridiculous rental situations - many of them in Brampton. He is saving money living at home right now. Another big problem is that we don't have the infrastructure for all these people. My son routinely stands up most of the way to school or can't get on a bus because it's full.

It's not just Brampton phone a government agency most people who answer the phone are from India or that area and can't even speak English stop immigration from India and the middle East and start immigrating from Europe only before Canada is no longer at all white or Caucasian Alberta is the same there's Edmonton who is mostly controlled by Pakistani in India British Columbia's being bought by the Chinese it's ridiculous there is no real Canadians left except the people who work everyday just to feed their families in construction farming and the oilfield we need to away the country handles immigrants there's no integration I think it's a shame when you go walking around any city in the country and most of the people are talking some foreign language and not English

You present a fairly accurate description of Canada today, I would add inflation ( money printing)and ridiculous taxation are likely the two most significant negative factors both a result of very poor government management. If and when we get better government Canada’s potential is incredible, huge resources and tough hardworking people ( with exceptions of coarse). ?

Forget buying a home, Rental prices are equally ridiculous. There is very few homes/condo/apartments, no wonder kids live with their parents into their 30s and 40s.

Stop calling them “temporary”, there is nothing temporary about these people. Most of them stay here permanently and then bring a 100 of there family here due to ridiculous loopholes.

High rent and crime are problems across Canada right now. Larger cities will be more strongly impacted. \nThe root causes are actually quite simple. It's from decades of downloading responsibility for many services until they ended up in the hands of municipalities who had no capacity to fund them, then made 2x worse by the disastrous immigration policy of just the last few years.\nIt explains all three of the problems you identify, unaffordable rent, high crime rate, and underfunded social services.\nSo these are not problems with Toronto, but at the federal and provincial levels. Simply repeating that there are plenty of better options elsewhere doesn't make it true, unless you can give specific examples. Other places likely pay less, require longer commutes, don't offer small size rentals, have even worse social support, similar crime rates, or some combination of all those factors.\nToronto itself isn't as bad as this video makes it out to be. The downtown core skews all the averages, yet all the reporting, b-roll, and examples seen here seem to focus on the core. Of course the reason why it's worse in the core is because so many people want to live there! There are plenty of much more affordable options within a 30 minute subway ride of the core. Well inside city limits. Grow some humility and find a place to that you can afford to live, within Toronto.

Okay so ever sonce the rent caps were REMOVED by the provincial government back in 2018, yhe amount of homelessness has gone through the roof, that and the fact that in Ontario the Provinical government has froze social assistance and disability service rates. I been living in Toronto my whole life and in 2024 I have seen more homeless people now than every before. The cost of living is ridiculous.

I truly believe this all revolves around the housing crisis. Not enough housing can be built. Canadians with options are not taking low-income jobs. It's not a survivable wage anymore. Canada's #1 GDP is Real Estate. Potential first-time home buyers are not willing to throw themselves into a lifetime debt for a weak economy. \n\nSo what does Canada do? Fill these vacancies with immigrants. Not inherently wrong, but it's a band-aid solution to temporarily pump up the numbers. \n\nImmigrants, specifically refugees are taking low-income jobs. Speak Arabic? You can easily fill your job positions for minimum wage. Just like mafia tactics in third-world countries, the government takes their passports away and they must fulfill their duties at a very low wage and very high cost of living under threat of being thrown back into a potentially war-torn country. Came to Canada as a Dentist? Doesn't matter, you need to climb the ladder again and in the meantime work as a Receptionist making minimum wage.\n\nImmigrants with money are obligated to prove themselves. Buy housing, start a business. Numerous cities such as Brampton are being filled with slums. Housing a double digit of residents in the basement at absurd costs so the landlords can afford their ridiculous mortgages and lifestyle off the back of other immigrants/refugees.\n\nThe main issue is the hate directed towards immigrants. First of all, in the video it was disgusting for the man to acknowledge that someone was wearing good clothes and asking where the refugee center is. Someone can be a refugee and still have money. That's the ideal refugee. Someone with money in a war-torn country such as Sudan are high targets and completely deserve to run away to a safe country like Canada - especially if they can afford to spend money and stimulate the economy.\n\nStop attacking the people. This is a housing crisis issue that has been so poorly managed that these deeply rooted symptoms are beginning to show.

Get rid of these diploma mills. These students are coming here and not even getting a real education. Funny thing is most of these students don't even want to go to school. They would rather work and get a PR. Absolutely ridiculous.

Inflation is higher than what they say.. real estate prices are out of touch with the actual wages and salaries.. cost of food is unbelievable… rent is ridiculous.. Wages are laughable.. taxes are insane.. we are also taxed on so many things on top of income tax such as .environment, carbon, plastic, sugar tax etc… it is insane.. Healthcare is going through crisis… Getting MRI takes ages.. So now they wanna bring 500k in the midst of all this ? It is going to screw us more .. I also feel sorry for the migrants who are moving out here with lots of hope and ambitions… I also feel sorry for us .. stress = mental health issues….. This government screwed each one of us.. what they are doing doesn’t make any sense to me. They are out of touch with reality.. It is very interesting to observe how demographics have changed over the decades.When I first arrived in Canada in 1972 (51 years ago), the Indians were almost invisible, it would be an extraordinary sight to see one. Now, they are all over the place and there is no housing by the way. But yes, it's the student visas that have saturated the system and now the inept government is scrambling to find solutions to the housing problem that has ballooned. I get CPP and old age pension but have to continue working due to the high cost of living, it is ridiculous.

Not gonna lie. But Canadian teenagers feel entitled . They don’t want to work which is a shame. That might be a problem with the parents. But a good portion of 20-35 year old living with there parents are white Canadians. Let me be clear before you all slam me. But it is fucking true. I live in US... and to be honest I am disappointed with indian embassy service. Never take call. Never talk respectfully. Curt rude and scam callers by billing them to share general info that is supposed to be their job to answer calls. I don't care if they are understaffed but for the amount of fees that they charge to do visa and passport, it is ridiculous how unprofessional and uncivil they are behaving. I am well educated and yet distressed. They are abusing their own citizens this way

Canada is designed to lock you into a slave system. 2 weeks vacation per year for a full-time job, hence you ARE your job, there is no time to enjoy life. A good paying job will allow you to keep your head just above the water.\nFirst question when you meet people is 'What is your background?' because working and paying tax is so important here. \nFood and leisure in not affordable, which is why so many Canadians have never been to other countries (except for the U.S.) \nThere is a tax for everything and the red tape is ridiculous (insurance required for everything).
