Canada relies on immigration for pretty much everything 1) colleges make money 2) landlords make money 3 ) government makes money from more taxes 4) banks make money from more mortgage applications 5) realtors make money . And they know majority of international students goal is to later. Buy a house Punjabi people own more real estate then most people in Canada combined. Canada government just uses the taxes the more people\nCome the more taxes people\nPay . Don’t forget Canada was not a white man land it belongs to the indigenous people . We are all immigrants from somewhere people get scared of what they don’t understand. Every community has their far share of bad apples. As I agree we do need to have a a tighter immigration system it’s not good when there are to many people\nComing from the same country . And the things the new comers do just make the community look bad People that came to Canada -30 years ago have gotten respect know all that went down the drain .?‍♀️

You come to Canada in huge numbers. It's not immigration anymore, it's invasion. You are culturally aggressive, you don't want to assimilate, and will not assimilate. You came here to build a second Punjab, you have different values than ours, many of you are dishonest, demanding, ungrateful. I have an impression that our government wants to replace our population. When I go to the park with my dogs, I mostly see women in saris and men in turbans and hear around a foreign language. I lost the sense of familiarity and don't recognize my own country anymore. And what is sad is that India will stay India with its culture and tradition, but our culture will be dissolved. Canada as we know it will disappear.

When I first visited Amsterdam and walked around my hotel looking for a coffee in 2016, 15 min later, I came back to my hotel giving coffee to my wife and told, watch something bad is going to happen here soon, extremists are trying recruit people of color. I live in Atlantic Canada and we normally have moderate Winters. We don't usually even have snow for Christmas. Winter normally starts in January. I have only had to shovel twice the last two Winters. Last Winter, it mostly rained because the temperature was usually too warm to snow. Still chilly, not many freezing days. When I was growing up in the 70s and 80s, we would wear a snowsuit for Halloween because it was so cold. Now, you are as likely to see kids wearing shorts. \n\nIt still would be cold for someone coming from a hot country, but someone from Iceland would probably find it mild.

She is not wrong fully, I have met good sofesticated indians living in Canada and they say that people coming from mostly Punjab and Haryana have made a havoc in Canada. They are too loud, dirty and filthy. There is a big safety concers for Canadians and even Indian origin canadians in Canada. Even our people who have gone there to work legally say that they don't want any indian in Canada. I am living in Europe and I see the same thing. People from our country just don't have any civic sense, they are mostly very dirty and because of them, many people find it difficult to find a apartment. Before slamming that lady, we should think of ourselves and we should improve our nation first.

I am a Canadian Indian who came here in 1974, I was 8 years old when I came to Canada, back in my generation we respected the Canadian value system and culture and appreciation for the Country, we didn't come here with the mentality to dominate a country that accepted and open their doors to immigrants, I feel this young generations of today lack respect, manners, they have a strong sense of entitlement and a superiority complex that doesn't blend in with the Canadian culture please go back to India as it's not fair that we paid our taxes here for so many years and you come to take our jobs and dominate us and think you're so much smarter than Canadians if this is the case why are you flocking to our Country, please stay in your own Country and be better over there, this is not Indian so don't change the Canadian value system to be like India, I'm so disappointed with your unwanted behaviors and how you ruined our Country!

But where people had heard that Canada is a affordable country??? It’s not. And this is why we are travelling outside of the country during vacation so we can enjoy our dollar elsewhere where we have minimal taxes. The first immigrant generation will work 50hrs/week to survive and then the second generation will have a much better life… this is how immigration work. Trust me, i am from the second generation.

Trudeau says we need more people in health care, but we aren't bringing in the right people to fill those gaps. We are bringing in uneducated people to fill fast food jobs. That's not going to make Canada a strong economically stable country. Instead of pandering to the businesses that want to stay open 7 days a week and need these low level employees, it would be preferable to return to a system where everything isn't open 24/7 requiring all of these low level positions ti be filled.

The grass is always greener. We are not the US thank god. Greed over benefits over better education and in general a greater social safety net. The large centres in Canada have had there real estate exploited by big business and wannabee real estate tycoons it like the many other schemes that came before are looking to exploit working class people and that has made more difficult for people that doesnt mena Canada doesnt have opportunity. I am a born and raised Canadian and have seen my country go downhill for at least the last couple of decades.\nHealth Care: doctors and nurses are moving Stateside in droves. No, the US doesn’t have universal health care but there are insurance plans and the care is enormously better. My girlfriend had 4th stage throat cancer. In Calgary the doctors at some point told her there was nothing more they could do for her and to get her affairs in order. Her father sent her to the Anderson Clinic in Houston - yes it was expensive but they treated her, saved her life and that was 24 years ago. \nIt’s common in our emergency rooms to wait up to 12 hours to be seen. \nOur system isn’t progressive and doctors and nurses don’t get paid near as well as in the States. That being said, I am happy that I don’t have to pay to see the doctor or have a stay in the hospital. \nCost of Living: Once upon a time it was good - housing was cheap and many companies had the full range of benefits and salaries were equal to the cost of living. Now these same companies have stripped the benefits by hiring people under contract so they don’t have to give them benefits. \nRents are through the roof and in Calgary there are no rent caps. Buying a decent house in a decent neighbourhood is impossible unless you inherit or make a six figure income. This, in no small part, has created a homelessness crisis that never had been seen in such numbers before. Crime also is getting worse by the day. Canada was once known as a safe country. This is no longer the case.\nEverything is very expensive and the tax very high. Plus, we have to suffer winter! Where I live, the joke is that we have two seasons - July and winter!\nI still like my city (not love) but I am retired and own two houses - one inherited and the other bought when it was affordable (32 years ago). Calgary would not be a place I would live if I was a newcomer. Vancouver is beautiful but you really pay for it. \nTrudeau has helped make a big mess of things with immigration and lax criminal laws. My beef is not with immigrants I must state - it is with the lack of jobs for them when they come, thereby forcing bad living conditions and an over reliance on the social systems. I add that the immigration population is much more willing to work in jobs they have to take (despite a high education) than our natural and bloated citizens.\nSo yes, Canada has increasingly gone downhill. Came to Canada due to a war in Ukraine, love the country and people but found it extremely challenging to settle in due to the prices. We are just trying to survive and pay the rent and food. Almost 2 years here and no result. I am thinking to move out of the country as I really doubt the situation will drastically change in 2-5 years and I am not 18 years old any more.

I live with 70% inflation in my country and this is what I think: \n\nI don't know if there is a direct translation of this economic model but let me explain: prices increases in two ways, if there is not enough supply, prices will increase and if there is high demand for a product&service, prices will increase. In Turkey, they increase the prices by tricking people that prices will eventually increase, so buy it right now. THIS caused a loop and huge inflation also rush to houses, cars, hard products etc. That way, companies make enormous profits especially construction companies & car manufacturers. Why did government decide to do that so? Because government wanted to secure financial status of these big companies without banks giving them loans by transferring wealth from people to companies.\n\nThere is another side for these moves: Globally, there is an ongoing plan to lower birthrate in well-developed countries such as Canada, France, Germany etc. Why is that? They say, people from western countries create more carbon emissions than people in India, Bangladesh etc and in order to ensure green transformation of energy, birthrate must(?) fall. \n\nThere are also other reasons that we live in difficult times. But that's enough. We, people, have to do something. The day passes without a protest, governments & big companies get more strength and enforces hard conditions on people.

This is me a decade ago moving from Phils to Canada. I never felt at home in the country of my birth — I hated the traffic and the monsoon rains (it can rain for months). I know a lot of nationalities rave about our tropical country & beautiful beaches but it also has become unaffordable for us the citizens. We became Canadians 5 yrs ago & have grown from 4 to 6 (2 Canada born kids) & now have 2 properties. It has worked for us but it was also not easy uprooting our lives & starting over. I don’t think we will ever find our home anywhere. Previously my husband and I also lived in the US (before kids). It is truly a privilege to be here but I always feel I am sojourner, always traveling & always searching. I hope you find your peace wherever life takes you. People in the parlement have a wage over 100k per year to be on a seat, time is money, but they can't focus on their results. They don't need to have results on their decision. They know tomorrow, they will do a second chance and spend time make money.

Wow the entitlement is mind-boggling. If that is the attitude that people have coming here on a temporary Visa. 33 years ago I had a temporary work reason to work in the UK I worked six days a week paid rent paid bills and we built a business that hired other people and put money back into the economy. I can’t imagine being out in the streets protesting it to the UK government that I haven’t been pretty to the privileges of people that were born and bred in the country and were there before me in Ontario we definitely do not have housing available. The cost of housing for a room is $1000 a month outside of the city, basement apartment is 2000 and Condo, one bedroom and den is about 3000. I’m not sure what jobs students are expecting when employment is not at all-time high and the healthcare system is already strained and failing people that need vital surgeries. Seniors are waiting three months for an MRI and students that were born here are having trouble finding employment because entry jobs are given to immigrants we are approaching UK and Ireland crisis levels, it’s not about racism. We don’t have the infrastructure.

This is a reaction to the potential loss of their student visas, not some jumping the queue scheme. The changes in the student visa system has created this temporary panic. A student who is in second or third year has already spent a lot of money to get an education and then lose that money and not have a degree. The years and money would be lost, then they would have to go through the process again in other country has caused this. Many of these student will remain as students and get their degrees and go home as they have in the past. Our university have had foreign students forever and it has worked. The anti-immigrant trolls should be ashamed. We are all immigrants here, unless we are aboriginal so we shouldn't point fingers. People are coming to Canada because it is their best chance for a future. Your ancestors though so too.

The Liberal government is out of control. Have any of their plans ever worked out well? It's been covered up scandal after covered up scandal? When you have DEI hirings and them implement policies your not getting the best work done. Trudeau himself has no leadership experience nor has he learned anything since being in office. Unfortunately he is holding on to his power by pressuring the Block and the NDP to join forces with him effectively blocking any possibility of a change. We need change asap. Our priority is not dental care for seniors, $10 day care and a food program for schools. We are not a socialist country.

Im sorry, but not every country is in a condition to where we can trust that the students aren't merely using study as a way to get to Canada. Until this issues are addressed back home or can be screened harder here, people from those countries should be banned from applying. Its so ridiculous. I can tell you one of the major reasons. It is the fact that these immigrants from India do not want to assimilate into Canada. Instead they bring their ways with them into Canada and some of those “ways”, are not acceptable in Canada. One example of that is the whole using the bathroom on the beach. But one that hits hard for me is the insane amount of immigrants that are harvesting spawning salmon with nets, without any of the properly paperwork that is needed to fish salmon with a rod. Using a net is illegal, I know they know it because when I catch them doing this. They become quiet and all of a sudden, after hearing them just speaking English, they pretend they do not know English… I can tell you this is all true. The other thing I have seen with my eyes is shop lifting from the local grocery store. I have never seen that before, not ever in all my years living here. It would be somewhat different if they were stealing essential items and essential foods. But they are not doing that, they are stealing all the luxury items. I am a white Canadian and I am proud of it, but guess what. I am also proud of the fact that I have a doctor that came from India and his family is thriving here. It makes me proud that he chose our country try to come to, with his educational background, it also makes me proud that he and his family have taken the time to try and assimilate into our culture. When I say assimilate by the way, I do not want them or and immigrant to completely abandon their cultures, I just would prefer it if they assimilate to the point where we can have a healthy community instead of all these separate cultural areas in our towns and cities. The other thing I have to add is that the word racism is thrown around too much and too easily in our current woke cultural climate here in Canada and this is just making the immigration issues worse because it produces a culture of fear for those Canadians that would like to help educate those immigrants that need help. But they do not do so because they are afraid of being labeled a racist or some other word and having their livelihoods and overall lives ruined. I am in a position in life where I do not care if people want to say such things about me. I am also well educated and in the position to come up with well articulated arguments in my defence. My main issue with immigration that bothers me more than the rest not only affects us Canadians but also affects the immigrants as well. Ok so before mass immigration was a thing here in Canada our healthcare system that we all used to be extremely proud of the as showing too many cracks and we knew it was falling apart. You think the government would place more funding into the healthcare system. Well that has not happened and if anything they have taken more funds away from our healthcare system than any other time in our country’s history. So before the mass immigration begun we had a major issue with having way too many patients and not enough medical staff to adequately treat everyone in a timely and healthy manner. So now think about that, the healthcare system was already stressed with the current population before mass immigration. How do you think adding waves and waves of more people every year via mass immigration is affecting that system? The answer is this… if the system was stressed beforehand, it is collapsing now. I am one of the lucky few that has a family doctor right now. It takes three months the just for me to see her… If I have an emergency and have to call 911, the ambulance will take me up to the local ER and then I will be wheeled out to the waiting room, which defeats the purpose of me calling 911 for a ambulance. I have waited two days at the local ER just to see a doctor. So here is where it affects the immigrants coming in. If a Canadian that was here before you is already having major issues with the healthcare, then I can only imagine how hard it will be for a new citizen to our country, nuff said really… the local er near me had a person die in the waiting room this past January. Add to this fact that I am actually pretty sick at the moment and so are my parents and you can understand why I am upset about our failing healthcare system. The politicians do not have to worry about our such issues though because they can afford to pay to go outside of Canada and pay cold hard cash for medical treatment. That is why they do not mind removing funds from our healthcare system, it will not affect them and they get to line their pockets with more of our tax money… I honestly place most of the blame for what is going on right now on Trudeau’s government and not the immigrants. The immigrants could help make this crappy situation a lot better for both of our parties though if they tried a little harder to adapt to our ways of life here. When in Canada try to live like a Canadian, I do not think that is asking much. Again, as for racism, I believe in judging a person by their actions and not by the colour of their skin. Racism is such an antiquated way of thinking… Our skin colours maybe different, just like our cultural backgrounds, but after all is said and done we are all members of the human race. All of our troubles in Canada is due to very excessive immigration. Every single aspect of housing, education and healthcare could not absorb this unsustainable population growth. And llok at it, immigrants are not willing to give any money to income tax but they want the service sithout paying for it. That’s not the way it works. I’m a GenX and I bought my house for cheap in the 80’s. Now taht it’s paid off my cost of living is the price of housing taxes so about 300$ a month for a recent suburban house valued at 850k$. It is almost impossible for immigrants to buy a house like that. That’s why we not only need less immigrants but we have to make existing immigrants to leave Canada. We are not the dream country they hoped for mainly because of them. Leave.

YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. Now you come here and benefits from black and indigenous peoples struggles and claiming rights when you have not been fighting the battles with us or for us. Also, the criminal aspects of your community is not being taked about as well which includes extortion to businesses owned by Indians, car thefts, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other criminal activities. Sorry to hear you’re leaving Canada….I haven’t been watching your vids lately but will catch up. As someone born and raised in Toronto, I love being in Canada. I’m proud to be Canadian. Unfortunately, I am sad to say that we have been going so downhill ever since Trudeau and his gang of idiots came in AND the pandemic. It’s not really easy to maintain your finances here anymore, so many people are struggling in this country. You can’t really afford anything today, it’s so sad. I’m unhappy with what has been happening to our country and the state we’re in. As you said, problems have arisen and continue to plague this country, from crime, cost of living, homeless crisis and quality of life.\n\nIf other of my fellow Canadians are leaving this “great” country, that’s their choice. But I am staying here and going to deal with its problems. I love this country with all my heart, and I don’t think I would move anywhere to a different country. I work in two trucking companies and many drivers are Indians and are always very nice to me. I don't have a problem with them coming here to Canada to live and earn a good living . Well lets be fair, why blaming immigrants on the current problem that Canada is facing right now?. no one taking a job from Canadian, it just that somes don’t like to work here in a minimum wages and sometimes they can’t stay longer in their work and quit very easily. Our country and other countries have absolutely no infrastructure and funds to support these people. Ohio is asking for government assistance. The solution now is strict immigration laws and border laws. Everyone that is not a USA citizen must be sent back to their country. Visa cards. Passports. Hungary has the top security system (google) to keep immigrants out of the country. Worse. Thief and crime have skyrocketed! Everyone in NYC are robbing anyone they see and stores are\nclosing. They don't get arrested because anything under $1000 is not a criminal offense. The USA needs to get a grip! These people are asking for handouts, which means the USA poor will not get benefits. It is not just Canada. USA people are getting out of the cities! This is a world wide crisis. Say your prayers. We really need a savior to show up!

Similar has happened to Surrey/North Delta British Columbia of the 400,000 residents living here,179,000 are from India. I remember years ago when Brampton was a small quaint town back in the 1970s this India didn't exist. Generally this happens when years ago real estate was cheap all the Indians moved in to the cheaper part of the community then slowly took over, and invaded the community. As a Canadian who was born here and the son of immigrants. I can say to you that the problem is with the Canadian government. It has lead to indians being taken advantage of by unsavoury people. And the situation is contributing to the housing crisis here in Canada although it's. not the only cause. The vast majority of Canadians do not blame the people coming here. We would take advantage of the opportunity to come here too if we were in the indian immigrants shoes as well. Keep in mind this is a country of immigrants. The vast majority of people came here or are descendent of people who came from somewhere else.

I blame it mainly on the international student boom in the past few years. These frauds join bogus courses in bogus colleges. The entitlement and bad behavior of a few makes everybody else look bad. They are also not vetting them properly. So we don't know how many criminals have slipped through as well. To add to this these students have become so entitled now that they choose to protest and demand permanent residency. I have never seen non-immigrants from any country protest to get permanent residency. The main blame for all this finally has to be on the liberal government. You messed up big time and are not doing enough to fix this.\n\nAlso, why are parents of immigrants who get sponsored and come here being given access to social benefits from day1? Look at the US, you can sponsor a parents green card but that parent does not get any social benefits at least for a few years after they land in the country.

Aren't we all illegal immigrants technically living on this earth. I don't remember having been given a special passport to fly into earth and being legal earth migrant. what's up with the rules if they are changing when you have al lot of money to change then towards your liking of having like you like it with a lot of money. if you look at the systems of they are all separated all over the earth from country to country it's all illegal and all legal from border to border then you run out of money by spending on rules on earth from border to border and someone makes it somehow allowed to happen or not if you have the money or not. If the situation was reversed, we were living in an impoverished country and were invited to immigrate to another country with better opportunities, I know damn well Canadians would jump at it, so I can't blame Indians for coming here.
