Canadian here, for the past month we've been boycotting US products. Most of our grocery stores now put Canadian flags on Canadian products, and our liquor stores have removed US imports from our shelves. Canadians have a very good memory, the damage has already been done.

When countries put tariffs on the US the citizens pay more for goods. Now Canada will tariff their own imported goods like beef, vegetables, cars, cosmetics etc and who’s gonna pay the price, Canadian tax payer. See the difference?

What is wrong with y'all...Canadians depend on US military protection. Their military is 1/30th of our military in size and technology putting it mildly. Which allows them to focus their budget not on defense spending but on their citizens. Tariffs have never worked, history has shown that all they do is raise the cost to the consumer and the profits to the corporations. We put tariffs on washing machines once and then the manufacturers her in the USA also raise the prices on dryers also even though there was no tariff on them. Corporate greed will use this to gouge us the consumers.
