After reading the comments it's funny how people still thinks where you are born or your country origin is home. Imagine thinking that's the definition of home to begin with, sometimes I Just shake my head when I see people using such content to define home. Home dosen't necessarily have to be your country origin or whatsoever. I personally would define home as anywhere with the best of contents I seek along with my Characteristics being blended. \nAlso I don't get why people are criticizing those who said they won't come back, they have there various reasons for moving abroad, it might be for a better life, academic, security and lots other stuffs. If they wanna go back to there home country then good and fine but if they wanna stay and migrate, it's also Good. Migration has always been a thing right from the time of Abraham so in essence allow those who wants to migrate to migrate, they are not the cause of your problems or to why your home country has bad governance. If you don't like the fact that they are migrating or not wanting to go back to there home town then simply ignore them, no need to act bitchy about it, Gosh!

290.000 left the U.S because of racism and low paying jobs. the political system has lots of problems. Dr Rashad Richey makes it clear concerning the things that are really happening. many people don't feel its a good place to live any more.

My biggest takeaway from this video is the fact that the most intellectually sound person was the young Ghanaian lady..this is a problem that I have noticed first hand as a Nigerian that does travel globally that a lot of Nigerians lack sound logical reasoning..while managing its numerous challenges Nigeria as a country and a society has a lot of work to do rebuilding the intellectual fabric of our society..

I'm fine with high taxes as long as I can have a second residence in Canada. There's a lot of crime within the USA, and Canada is a safe haven depending on the type of crime we're talking about. I'm sure you understand what i'm saying. I'm not entering the Country to work there. I'd bring my businesses there, and help the economy as a permanent resident, and citizen of USA. My only problem is that i don't know how to become a permanent resident as an entrepreneur.

When I tell Africans not to go to Canada they never listen. Canada is a really cool country. There's no doubt about that but in winter the weather gets really cold, dull, grey and depressing. Instead of moving always to The UK, US or Canada, why not try the Caribbean and some central American countries. These countries are very colorful, lively and bright with climate similar to ours. There are lots of folks over there that look like us as well except that you may have to learn a little Spanish which shouldn't be a problem at all. \nI'm a Nigerian too.\nI also dreamt of moving to Canada 15 years ago. I was so crazy in love with the country at first but because I was aware of how depressing winters can be I had to switch my dream destination to the Caribbean. I choose Panama because of the large Afro Panamanian community over there. Secondly because Panama looks like a more developed version of My country, Nigeria with beautiful beaches and a nice tropical weather. It's one of those few Caribbean nations with a free world class universal healthcare system like most countries in Europe.

I’m a citizen with dual PG and live in USA. Initially there were many hurdles like lack of Canadian experience but I got over the problem. After 10 years of living like a homeless person in Toronto, I spent a lot of money and did my second masters (MBA) only to realize that all those stories were BS. There are no jobs in Canada. Now it’s 20+ years since I first migrated to Toronto. I still can’t get a proper job in Toronto.

That’s why they are rich, they only do work and don’t care who’s living in neighbouring and do they have any problems or not.\nWe Indian are not rich but we help and support each other, we have joined families with lot of members. In my village of Uttar Pradesh If someone fall sick and he/she is from poor family then imam of mosque ? will announce a request from ? to all villagers for the support of ill person in the treatment and people help a lot no matter they are Muslim or Hindu.\nPeople are nice if they keep themselves away from news and politicians.

My friend, it depends on what you want out of your time in US. If you want outdoor life, there is plenty of it here, you just have to know what to do and where to go. If you have been indoors for 10 days and only gone out twice, then that tells a lot about your own self, not being an outdoor person. There are parks, lakes, amusements, beaches. There are facilities for hiking, walking, cycling, etc. I really think that you have not been exposed or you have not explored what is available here for outdoor fun. In the western world you can take your family out camping in the forest with the assurance that you will come back home safely. You can take your boat down to the lake for a day of fun with no problem. If you lived in most parts of Africa, and bought a boat, and started going to the river or lakes in the weekend, then the police commissioner, or military person who lives close to you will fabricate a reason to intimidate you and confiscate it. What I mean is in Africa, you run the risk of becoming a target once people see that you are an ordinary citizens who is doing well. Here, not like that.\n\nJust be happy that you are here and make the most of it. While you were in Africa, you dreamt about coming to America, now that you are here, all you want is to recreate Africa here. If Africa was good enough, no African will want to be here.

The problem in Western countries is there aren't enough children anymore. A lot of people never had kids including myself.

Can't live outside the rocky mountains range. Winter is the best, tons of snow, -50 celcius is not a problem(ok, it may be for those who work, but I am retired so I don't care at all).\n\nI really don't like about how you report quality of living thru crime, when in fact, violent crime is about 1%, which is absolutely nothing(1000 crimes/100 000 population), since it includes breaking in, arson and other type of crimes of the same type, not all are rapes or murder, but it does includes them. It also affects a lot of organize crime groups shooting one another and not directed toward innocent victims. There is also a significant part of ''crimes'' which are alcool related which otherwise would not be commited in a sober state.

I have done MBA from IIT Roorkee and I did my ECA through WES. MBA from IIT Rookee is equivalent to 2 yeras Masters as per WES. But when I saw the report they are proving it as 1 year Diploma. \n\nI have contacted alumnus who got their ECA from WES and got masters as equivalence.Could you please help out with this and point out where's the problem is? To me, the problem is threefold. a) Toronto and Ontario in general - and perhaps the whole of Canada - are accepting way more immigrants than they have quality jobs for. If you need taxi drivers and plumbers, maybe this experience should be valued way higher than education as part of the existing immigration programs (which is not the case). At least then potential immigrants know this before they come and get stuck in low-paying or relatively OK-paying but repetitive and demoralizing jobs with debts and mortgages that become a trap preventing them from leaving. It's also partially on immigrants themselves who come to Toronto to only find out there's 100 people competing for one spot and that you need to be exceptional - or connected through your ethnic network - to work regular white-collar jobs. b) The official bipartisan policy of non-integration. The naive expectation that having people live in ethnic enclaves will somehow make the overall culture richer is not what happens: instead, people tend to stick to their own communities and the common culture thus gets eroded and limited to economic and financial matters. This makes some cities feel like one large business with everyone networking 24/7 instead of socializing normally. And arguably, having the right culture / social life is what motivates already successful people move in the first place. So when they come and they find out there's nothing but money talk and hustling, they leave (if they're smart). Quebec is doing better in that regard, but then Quebec is not really Canada and it's been pressured to cave in to the same money-centred, uncultured and disconnected society by the feds for decades now. The States is smarter in that it actually makes sure to integrate its immigrants (and let's be honest, many immigrants like being part of a new culture if it fits them) c) Treating real estate as an investment and not as a basic necessity (as Japan or some Nordic countries do, for example). That coupled with a lot of Asian money being laundered in Canada through immigration channels and private equity firms buying whole apartment blocks for rental purposes has led to the highest housing price increase in all of the developed world in the past 20 years or so. The median price of a condo in Toronto is higher than in New York despite the massive gap in salaries and the fact that New York is one of the most expensive cities in the world to begin with. Some draconian measures are needed here to prevent foreign - or even out-of-province ownership -, second property ownership and corporate ownership for renting purposes.

When you add in consumer taxes, municipal taxes, mandatory contributions and all that, it gets to around 60% of what you earned sent to the government.\n\nAnd more and more people don't feel they get their money's worth. Its a big problem since professionals who earn a relative big income like doctors, lawyers and engineers end up moving to the US, where they can earn multiple times more after taxes and other general living necessities like rent are paid. Even bigger problem is that theses people are the taxpayers that pay more than they receive in services.\n\nThe local corporate leaders are a small oligarchy that influences policies to keep wages low while the cost of living skyrockets. Note that for the following example, I do not criticize immigrants, when you are here, you're one of us and in the same boat, and I'd fight side by side any day for a better future for all of us. The immigration minister recently announced that they will let in more immigrants in order to reduce the increase in wages, which did not even follow inflation. Its depressing and alienating when your job sector gets flooded by more workers when it already underpays and has hard competition for decent jobs.\n\nPeople are great no matter where they come from, but the policies makes coming here quite the scam. Its better than a lot of places, but the average canadian is getting poorer and poorer and the ceiling of success is very low too.

Canadian born and raised I found this video very interesting as a lot of Canadians blame the immigration for lack of jobs and feel they get more help from Government then local Canadians do.The anger towards them is a problem people don’t seem to want to talk about and would rather pretend it doesn’t exist but I hear it all the time and see it at work.I think this information should be more widely spread so people have a clear picture of both sides and hopefully the resentment will stop because all I’ve seen is anger resentment and a scary growing hatered

Pretty good Adam I'd just mention a few of those things are...I don't want to say inaccurate but way more diverse. For instance French. Yes Quebec is the only French province BUT New Brunswick is the only Bilingual province and basically half and half. This is good for things like federal of provincial services because by law they must provide service in both languages but not so basically everywhere else. The problem with this is you can have an almost completely English town almost nobody speaks French and drive 15 minutes and be in a town where nobody speaks English. Research on this might be hard because a town with a French name may not have any French people in and vise versa. Also this problem is multiplied in the fact that if you Do want a French area we don't speak standard French or Quebecois but instead Le Chiac which is a difficult and confusing mix of old French and english (almost exactly like the Cajun dialect). Second part of this is that Montreal is easy to live in if you don't speak French and is so multicultural you are just apt to hear Swahili as French in public. Last part is be very careful where you move on the prairies as they have may isolated towns some that speak French also. Next is tipping I've never had to tip anyone for a haircut outside of the military and all other forms of tipping here on the east coast are purely optional and wait staff don't get upset if you don't leave a tip unless you were a jerk or left them extra work like making a big mess (I worked as cook for a while after I got out of the army and I rarely ever head staff complain) HOWEVER....tip a waitress well and she might accidentally give you 2 pieces of pie lol and tip a taxi driver well and he will not only get you the cheapest fare he will find ANYTHING you may need no questions asked. Lastly on the nice thing....we are nice for sure especially compared to our southern neighbours BUT there is a lot of passive aggressive nice that happens and this also varies greatly. For instance as a city boy of course you answered the way you did but a guy who have lived all over this country in big and small, French and English places who now has retired to a rural town I can say I find the cities quite snobby and the French and the English can be quite snobby to each other and where I live now if you asked a random stranger for 5$ chances are you would get it also driving down the road people you don't know will just wave at you as if you were the closest friends. Canada is certainly a weird place so many extremes and my advice to anyone wanting to move here is do your research and then visit and travel a bit if possible because even us Canadians can be surprised by thing or two across this gigantic country

Canada is what you make of it. You can arrive rich and end up poor and you can arrive poor and end up rich. In between that, you can have a great life that balances your needs. I’ve seen immigrants succeed simply because they see the opportunity in front of them . They worked hard in their own counties to stay just above the poverty line ,but when they apply that same effort here it pays off ten times greater. I feel that compared to a lot of immigrants, natural born Canadians come across as spoiled and a little lazy…we are. We haven’t had to struggle the same way someone from a poorer country might have. I’ve talked to people who’ve worked ten to twelve hours a day just to stay afloat. If you did that here you could make plenty of money to live and have some left over. As far as owning a house goes,yes it’s expensive . I feel that homeownership in any country is relatively expensive. Here is a tip; use that soaring home prices to your advantage. Houses are expensive but you can make a lot of money buying and selling. I recommend putting together a buyers group and share the house for a few years, then sell at a profit, buy a bigger house or two smaller houses.try to buy the worst house in the best neighbourhood and fix it up slowly . That house could double in value in five or six years in the Toronto market. This is nothing new of course ,the people from India and China seem to do this a lot here ,it drives up prices and profits. On the downside to this ,you are now part of the problem. As the housing prices are driven up the non wealthy can no longer afford to own a house . They are at the mercy of high rents with no rewards of ownership. They are caught in a cycle of hard work and (relative)poverty. This could also be you if you can’t keep up the house payments and are forced to rent.\nHow well you speak English is important but your native language is also useful here because Canada is half immigrants . As a Canadian that speaks only english (Irish descent)I have to say to all newcomers that I’m very impressed that you have learned a new language and that you may even speak more than two! Don’t be embarrassed about your abilities . I find that in my experience , Canadians do not look down on people just because they don’t know English. In fact ,I’ve known people that have lived here for decades and still know very little English. They are comfortable in their communities and they function just fine. Learn as much English as suits your needs and be proud of any gains you make.\nOutside of Toronto are other cities that you might consider when looking at southern Ontario.From my experience,most are generally the same, just not as big . There are large immigrant communities in London Ontario, Hamilton and just outside of Toronto where housing is just a little bit less expensive but the commute to work is probably longer. This is just my opinion but in the small towns there are less people of colour , (which is what people of no colour call everyone else . I wonder if I’m called a person of no colour in some other culture ? LoL ). That might make it harder for you to feel integrated ,if that’s what you want. I’m not saying that people from other cultures can’t make it in a small town , I’m just saying that it’s definitely not Toronto . Here, people of any nationality can feel like they have a place where they can belong . It seems that no matter where you are from ,there is a community already here that’s set up restaurants and stores and clothing shops and newcomer support systems. And if your from Portugal or China or India or Africa or the Middle East, there are large groups of your kin here that have established roots for generations and you probably know this already.\nToronto means meeting place and that becomes evident quickly. I was born here and it’s one of the things I love the most about my city. I’m not going to say that there isn’t systemic racism here ,the people of no colour still kind of keep the top position , but as we become a minority in a decade or so ,I hope that will shift to a broader spectrum. It’s certainly happening already. One good thing is that the police department tries to hire people of colour so that racialism may play a smaller role. We’re getting used to seeing our politicians more and more reflect their constituents.\nI have to talk about the weather. Because I’m from here I’m used to the extremes of minus thirty and plus thirty . Eventually you get used to it (somewhat). Dressing in the right clothes is important. Summer is easy , but winter is different. It’s trying to kill you. Spend the most that you can afford on winter cloths . If you can afford a quality parka you should get one. The hood can be drawn around the face and stay out of the wind.\nIf not ,think of layers with a outer layer that blocks the wind. We have things called long Johns that are basically full length thick cotton or nylon pants that go on under your pants and a pair of extra thick socks. Buy your boots to fit your thick socks. Try to get the best boots you can afford ,it’s something that you might spend a little extra for but never regret.\nAll in all we are a fairly organized and peaceful society. Most people are friendly and will give you a chance . We have a good social safety net here and you don’t have to be homeless or starving if you don’t want to. There are people and organizations set up to help ,that truly try to get people back on their feet. It’s a good investment that pays off in ways that matter for the quality of life in a big city. I’m not putting my American neighbours down when I say they do things differently. They have their ways ,we have ours. This is just something that we do because we’re trying to learn how to help those that society has discarded or can’t find their place. Sure we have one or two areas where the homeless have pitched tents and we have some resources for them if they want. Unfortunately The mayor recently forced a small camp to move from a very visible place to more scattered locations. There were social workers involved as well as protesters trying to protect them. I didn’t like that happening and I want to see even more resources dedicated to them ,but on the other hand ,we are trying to avoid something like what happens on the streets when it’s just ignored. When I see YouTube videos of the streets of Philadelphia I’m extremely saddened. I thank the lucky stars that I was born in Toronto Canada.\nFor all it’s pollution and expense and crowds ,I think it’s a great place to do almost anything your heart desires . For every ugly building there is a beautiful park ,for every honked horn there is a birds call , for every cold and dark day there is beautiful sunny one around the corner.

Canada is a country of immigrants, which means people who are, in my humble opinion, mostly quite self-centered and expecting the world from others, which never happens! Canada demands a gigantic capacity to adapt, to adjust and, in a word, to change...completely! You must be totally willing to leave everything behind if you want to integrate into Canadian society and this is extremely hard to do! Moreover, most immigrants come to Canada because they expect that country to give them a life of luxury or at least a very easy life, which can be true, as compared to certain other countries where life can be hell because of corruption, poverty or mismanagement and dictatorship. Now, don't fool yourself, you will find all of this in Canada too, in a very different way, although not always that different, but you will find it to a certain extent, depending on what you are trying to do here! Canada pretends to be a free and democratic country, but if there is one thing, that you are not supposed to do in Canada without dire consequences and reactions from most Canadians, it is criticism and voicing dissent! You will face repression too! I am 67 and I have lived in this country for over 30 years and now have lots of health problems, which I would probably never have had in another country, all this because of the frigging climate here...I just hate it here! And yes, don't be cultured and...play stupid and ignorant, otherwise you will face automatic rejection and that same stupidity and ignorance! A country of many cultures...yes, but also of deep rooted prejudices and intolerance! And if there is something that never changes in Canada, it is change! They expect you to change, but they never change themselves! in a word...Canada is a country like all others, no better and often far worse!

Watched a lot of your videos. One thing which have bothered me is that you always have some objection or problem with the Pakistani System which you experienced and yet you chose to RUN away from it, instead of fighting. There are a lot many people who are not as power holder as you were but they fight and take their life share from the same system in Pakistan.\n\nI do appreciate your videos where you are guiding people about different things in Canada, but please stop criticizing Pakistan in your each and every video for every tits and bits you have been through. If indians come back to country American will face lots of problem

This whole “micro aggression” nonsense is what completely makes people not take racism seriously and as a real issue. I for one am not saying I’m one of those people but I’m just making an observation. Because along with real problems of people literally hating a certain group and thinking they’re above them just because their skin is a different color than them, we lump somebody touching your hair?? Sounds more like she just wasn’t comfortable with somebody doing that, and most people would probably say that they’d be uncomfortable with something like that, regardless of their ethnicity. I hate when racism gets thrown around because people are insecure and think everything bad or unwarranted that happens to them from a white person is rooted in racism. It’s seems like “it’s racism cuz I decided it was”. Some people are just assholes, or weirdos, and need to be put in their place and labeling EVERYTHING as racism really causes a lot of people to not take things seriously when it IS present.

The tests with the three friends, I'm not saying the racism it exposed doesn't exist, but I'm curious if attractiveness or character plays a factor in this as well (or even more). Getting different rental prices is outrages. Being stalked in a store is just weird, but a couple of checks I wouldn't mind. If nothing ever happens that will stop. Being asked if you can be helped should not be an issue. Although I admit it can be annoying (I rather shop without interference), but as long as they ask politely, being offended by it is your own problem. As for the hiring part is this video, I believe there might be even more discrimination based on age. I like the idea of blind hiring when possible. Being rated on skills is in the best interest of any party. \n\nAs a society we're making good progress on a lot of levels. There is still ground to gain, but let's also celebrate what has already been achieved in the last couple of generations. Social media makes it look like it's only bad, but don't forget that bad news sells better than good news. And all companies (also news companies) want to make money.

I'm not watching all this but I don't see black owned businesses... I have lived around, and been around a lot of black people it's not right but it also happens the other way around a whole lot too. It's a humanity problem.

Both me and my wife have Master’s degrees. Problem is I got a CLB 8 band getting us a totalk CRS score of 402 only. I wanted to write IELTS again but not able to get test dates here in the USA; earliest is May 2021. \nNow, I also know of two other ways of improving CRS; PNP from Alberta and BC Tech Program.\nHere are a few questions popping in my head:\nWould it be a good idea to create an Express Entry profile with 402 score and wait for Alberta to pick us for PNP? \nWhat happens if I submit my Express Entry profile and later I get a better IELTS score and want to submit that profile?\nI’m obviously using the Alberta PNP only for PR, so what are restrictions on us to stay/work in Alberta? Our plan is settle down in Vancouver, BC. \nI just found out about the BC Tech program from one of your videos and planning to prepare and apply for jobs there. Canada has been getting rich off all the Chinese immigrants for year's. Starting with Expo and the man that everyone loves Jim Pattison. Do your research. The growing Chinese population is rising and molding Canada to be a new version of China. The problem is that it's happening everywhere and the new problem is that it's become easier to play and flash the overused racist/discriminative card. If the government does not act now and recognize their manifestation of this major problem that is shifting Canada's true values and this will grow out of hand and it will be to late. Many Canadian's are already feeling the rage and soon someone's rage will explode causing a ripple. There has to be a conversation and although it appears it would be a late of a game play it still needs to be addressed and stop sweeping under rug. Canada is known for it's non confrontational image but someone will shake it up and it might be to late by then for the government to step in and of course not be accountable. They get a lot of money each year from the demographics and don't want to do much about the growing explosive problem. Housing is a key problem and the Chinese population has gravely diminished Canadian born lives and their families. Yes understandably their are many born Chinese immigrants but we are discussing the new blood with deceptive intentions.

I see lots of videos like this and yes i agree that we have racism in Canada just like in every single other country around the world. I also notice that never once in one video have i seen one of these people mentioning the racism that is tough to children not just white children but all children as everyone knows racism is a tough behavior. As every single country has racism that means its a problem for all and for some reason the world only is worried about racism in white peoples instead of attacking this issue as a whole

When people get beyond the boundary of a person's color you will face the reality of what this is all about in the first place. Isn't it funny when we look at things like professional sports. The music industry a host of other platforms you see the black community excelling. Now you do not see a huge rebellion taking place from any other nation that is not represented in those areas. So what is really up with these other areas you continue to bring up. All those other problems are not being escaped from because of a persons color. If you believe you have a problem in those areas. Problem with whites everywhere is that they don't want to have children. They have a lot of money and time but they want to use their money for enjoyment and their time for tourism. White men marry more and more coloured women from Asia and Africa and less and less women from their race. I'm from the UK and when I go into Manchester town centre it really annoys me because we do have a lot of asylum seekers here. I don't see why our country or any other countries should take them. I don't have a problem with you if your born in the U.k & your Asian, Muslim, black you we're born here your one of us.

The biggest problem alot of people have when migrating to Canada or USA is not being informed about procedures and how likely are you to allowed in. A lot of loss would have beeb avoided.

Asian racists are going to be a lot more of a problem than white racists. Asians could not care less what you think about them and are not capable of being guilted like spineless whites. Ok so there's a lot of back and forth racial comments in here so I'm going out on a limb. I've been living in castlemore bramton since 2005 1st phase. It was multicultural then, which is how it should be. I grew up in Woodbridge where there were more Italians than other cultures, but I could get a job there,and I did not feel out of place. The problem that I have with Brampton is that, the Indians do not hire any other culture in their business places, from the banks straight down to the grocery stores. I would also like to keep my property value up to par and even that's becoming hard. Segregation is UNACCEPTABLE!!. It bothers me that the government is allowing this to happen. I see job postings online that's asking for Punjabi as a second language. Any job postings in Canada should have either French or English requirement, any other language(s) is a plus. This comment is based on my own experience being a resident of Brampton. Facts is facts!

I LOVE Canada, I couldn't see myself living anywhere else because it is my home. \nHowever, when you compare it to india, in India you're only paying for electricity, gas, and food that you need to buy at the grocery store. \nBut if you really needed to budget and save money, food is LITERALLY growing in your backyard! All the veggies, fruits, etc. You just need to buy the grains and proteins! \n1.5 lakhs sounds great per month. But 1.5 lakhs is realistically not enough to live in Canada. \n\nDon't believe me? Google cost of living in Canada. Google how much a family of 4 would need to make to survive per month in Canada. Also, make sure to check out CANADIAN WEBSITES for this data. However this makes the cost of living go up to accommodate this many people. Compared to Regina, or St. John's not many people immigrate there!
