I have a lot of sympathy for these people, especially considering many gave up everything they had to pay smugglers to get this far while our government was effectively letting everyone in while offering additional incentives such as money and temporary housing. That said, if we don't have borders we don't have a country. Add on the massive welfare state that they will all become burdens on, either immediately or eventually, and it becomes clear to anyone with a little bit knowledge and common sense that the policies of the Biden administration that allowed things to get this bad, if not stopped immediately, would mean the end of the middle class, the further impoverishment of the lower class and massive benefits for the wealthiest among us. And when I say wealthy I'm not talking about the guy making 7 figures. I mean those who control billions, either directly or indirectly. You know, the same people who have the power to influence political parties to enact such policies and push narratives by the corporate media that state anyone who questions the policy is racist, greedy, heartless, or xenophobic.

America will never be as good as it was before about 1990 when all the 3rd world people started coming in droves. there is a reason everything south of the border is the way it is, and it is not the government. it is the people. look at the inventions, scientific discovery, technology, medicine, that has come from our country, what have the done for the world in the countries below us? NOTHING. being from CNN they are probably happy about this.

Everybody has some sort Internet connection. They need to look up what Tariffs are. When Trump was campaigning he said he was going to put a 25% tariff in China and all of his supporters cheered and clapped ! I’m sitting here going don’t they know that that increase cost is going to be pushed down to the consumer?!?!! It’s the everyday American who is going to end up paying that 20% 25% increased in cost!!! it’s going to affect our living standards and not in a good way! I hope we all know that it doesn't matter who is in the 'top job' because this is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. My wife and I will be retiring in the next two years n another country. Wrong! It doesn’t cost Americans more when a tariff is placed. It forces the incoming product manufacturer to lower its costs so people will still buy, and if people still buy, the percentage of tariff will fund the us government vs our income taxes. If they don’t lower their costs, they risk people not buying which hurts their business and hurts the country they are in because they don’t make as much money to send taxes to their country’s government

Colombia did not accept because they were on military planes. If they would have been treated with respect and like human beings and arrive on commercial jets, they would have accepted. It just goes to show they shouldn’t be here illegally. Why would we want criminals here when we already are dealing with our own issues in the US. Why the violence towards the US officers on the border if they’re fleeing their country why behave like this they just wanted the free handouts at Americans expense. I don’t know how the government thought this was OK to have all the people come over here illegally and pay for everything when there are homeless veterans and children that are US citizens. Take care of home first.

We have WAY too many problems in our country and need to get strong again. Trump is right! The American people are right! This has to stop. Those people aer wrong to do that.

Well, Trump is getting ready to kick out the ones already here. We really don't have the means to take care of them. We have homeless people from fires in our own country. Didn't want to list all our problems. But please retreat and go hack home.

Our government allowed every country that hates us to come in through the Mexican border, except for Mexican people, and the Mexican government gets all the blame for it. But all the black Haitians are driving around in new SUVs wrecking them. Nobody tells them nothing.

In india when these foreign ppl come to travel and all we literally treat them as if they are stars of some movie whereas they are just normal people and we should stop treating them special .. see how they treat our people when they visit their country. Its very heartbreaking and shameful. They shoukd learn some manners from us.

I don't understand why India has to be so reliant on foreign countries. Especially with so many young and talented kids joining the workforce. Indians are smart people, and are bright and talented, and should focus on making work/life conditions better in their own country and focus on the growth of their own country. It's not like we lack intelligence, or culture, or values. I don't like this constant feeling of rejection if visa gets denied to move to a foreign country. Oh we can quadruple our income in a foreign country and send money home. Make changes in India to facilitate that, and not have to feel reliant on a foreign country to make that happen. It's time to make other countries want to come to India for a better future..
