Unbelievable- we really need to tighten up our immigration process and policies!!

As an Indian immigrant and a former international student, I think its really important to follow the process. Make sure you complete your degree on time and get a work permit before your visa expires(so that you don't have an illegal presence), don't work cash jobs while you're going through your degree and respect the limitation of 20hrs/week. If your student visa expires and your work permit does not get approved, its best to go back. No matter which country is it, its really important to obey the laws. There is no point of going against the law and making unjustifiable demands.

They are EVERYWHERE. Not just Canada. And not just because they can't control their birthrate. But because they see opportunity elsewhere and aren't too proud to take advantage of it. They will go where the biggest handouts are and truly believe they are entitled to it. And have absolutely no problems complaining in the process until they get it

Letting everything happen right under our noses for past 2 decades, and then saying Oh there was a mistake we need to set things right is not a mature way of handling these educated people, most of whom have Masters degrees under their belts. Why so much hate for educated people, we have land, resources and so many towns which needs people with different skills. Train them free of cost and use them for the betterment of the country, why so much love for only refugees and people who come here illegally and without proper credentials, and not for someone who have submitted 100 documents during visa processing....

When I applied as skilled worker in the 90s, I had undergone voluminous requirement to submit to embassy including taking up an IELTS exam but after years of updating my requirement this was denied. The process is very slow and very strict but now it is very fast specially if your applying for student visa. No more IELTS required and family can go with the student. Maybe its time for to strictly regulate it.

I don't know if you all know. There are a lot of new Canadians working in IRCC. They are doing favours for their fellow immigrants to help speed up their process.

While legally they have no rights to protest, this government was complicit in selling the dream to the international student. They were told this is a pathway for pr and many did receive PR following that process.\nFunny thing is that I know international students continue to arrive. That’s because the government probably promised these colleges more victims to pay high tuition fees.\nEveryone is scamming everyone.\n\nRightfully or wrongly this government decided we need more people in the country. This is for economic reasons. Also Canadians were happy to receive Covid handouts and we had a labour shortage.\n\n\nOnce can check how much money it cost the Canadian government to raise someone to tax paying age. Consider the child care, school, afterschool programs, post secondary funding , etc.\nWhen you bring an adult from India, it cost government nothing and you have a tax paying individual from the day they land here .\nLet’s look at the full picture before blaming international students.\n\nGoing forward you can make a rule that international students cannot ever work here or apply for PR, nor apply for refugee .Then they will stop coming

Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. NOT EVEN THEIR OWN KIND (Indians/ Punjab). And yes as a Canadian citizen whenever I see something I do call them out on it. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life. They butt into lines and interrupts as much as business conversations thinking their concerns are way more important than anyone else’s and That’s just to name a few things.\nNow on the other hand I do have VERY GOOD RESPECTFUL INDIAN FRIENDS who I will never let go of our friendship because of their genuine respectful relationship although even those close friends are now pulling themselves away from their own country people and all because of the others behaviour.\nThirdly; YES, the Canadian government invites foreign students into the country with improper sources to monitor and direct a governing body to monitor and process the activities of foreign students .\n\nI love your honesty in your stories back your video clips as proof of your country men behaviour. Keep up your good work and try spreading your positivity among your community.

Its fate, facing all these hardships even after paying huge amount of tuition fee and other visa processing, insurance charges. Everything is global now, nobody can survive alone. Lets all live together in a peaceful world. I really wish someday it will happen.

All depends upon the well established trafficking channel and availability and break-in the local police plus very weak locals authority in the US side. The USA and Canada thousands of mile border are very lightly controlled for hundreds of years while the Mexico border is protected by the Sky High Trump fence and security forces. These illegal travelers pay about $50K to $100K per person to put them on the US soil. This is a well organized and greased human trafficking gang have found out and are successfully exploiting. As an Indian, I must say, somehow the worst of our lot have ended up in Canada. You can see in the video, most of them lack the braincells to even articulate their point. Canada really needs a much better vetting process to take the actual migrants who will contribute to it's economy.

I used to work in a vegetable processing plant where 90% of the staff were Indians. They were rude, self entitled, and treated the rest of us like trash. I remember when one of the Punjabs threw garbage in front of me and expected me to pick it up. These people feel they own this place and the rest of us to serve them. They need to GO! And we need to stop immigrants from India from coming in.

I understand the concerns of international students, but let’s be honest— a lot of students from India are taking advantage of the system through fake marriage schemes and purchasing of LMIAs. This is unfair not only to other international students but also to early immigrants who went through the long and emotionally exhausting immigration process.

The Canadian visa system has been scammed by unscrupulous travel agents from Punjab and Gujarat. Its a mystery as to how illiterate villagers join Canadian colleges and get PR. The failed immigration system is answerable to the voters and taxpayers. Stop this scam. Deport the students who have done their course. PR is not a natural process after college.

At present, the employers asking for foreign workers should make job offers with the exact same requirements, not enough oversite, and there should be an emergency stop to practice reviewing the oversite process and monitoring. \nIn my point of view, I have blam Trudeau Government. I am Indian descent my parents came here with proper immigration process and brought money to put in Canadian economy. It was fine before when immigration was minimal. Now it doesn’t even feel like Canada anymore. They come here then enforced their beliefs/culture on Canada if we keep that up, there will be no Canada it will become India,Punjab,Middle East and Africa etc. You’re doing a great job please keep it up.

Lawyers are the biggest clowns, I am an immigrant myself and I never used their services. They are part of the problem because many of them like to lie encouraging everyone to apply for different process giving hope to newcomers to stay. They get money whatsoever even the immigrants' visa process don't work out.

Deportation is a traumatic experience for anyone, imagine u left Ur home country, sold every assets. You settle in a new country learning the culture & laws. Getting acquainted with the climate. Taking into consideration that over time while abroad (be it Canada) things may have changed from the way u left in your home country. Imagine staying in Canada legally n some times immigration process could take a long time, say u stay for abt 4 or 5 years waiting. And boom ? u get news u have to go back. Maybe u started a family. Now how do u start ?it easy to seat n say deport deport , wait until it's you or your friend. Deportation isn't bad but certain considerations should be examined . According to IRCC, there is no deportation. They will process the PRs for them before the date of Aug 28th 2024. So we have to deal with Khalistanian

I can actually break it down for you which is an unbiased fact. I spoke to one of the siding guys on a job he explained the entire process. So they come over on student visas then they work for basically free for 6 months there employer houses them feeds them drives them to work they spend no money at all. After the 6 months there boss gives them $10k which is not taxed they take that back to India and it’s like $100k over there versus Canada. We do a lot of quotes and I give reasonable prices they come in and charge 50% less which actually equates to $10 per hour which is not enough to run a business or have insurance.

I have been trying for years to get Liberals to help bring in young Temporary Foreign Workers for Togolese who I know personally. All i get is a run-around and no results. We need so many workers everywhere and yet the process is not functioning. \nWhy can’t we get proper help to make this work?
