Well its Texas. Their senator and governor don't actually work ??. And people are bitching America first. Maybe you should ask the Republicans you vote for why they block funding homeless shelters. Or why they blocked PACT which would help our veterans? They literally block everything that helps Americans.

Why would they want to live in america in the first place. They just end up in debt and then the streets. This by no means is me being rude towards them (the immigrants) but americans arent exactly the best neighbors.

Approximately 45000 homeless veterans in America, and NYC is putting illegals in 300 dollar a night hotels and our veterans are on the streets. At least orange man put Americans first.

They need to pass an amendment that they get no welfare, free housing, or medical insurance. They’re not entitled to enter or receive anything from Americans and they’ll pass 7&8 countries when they’re supposed to go to the first country they come to. People should come in legally not just think they can invade illegally. There’s no way they can vet all these people and this president is endangering Americans. Also we don’t want America looking like a slum.

The biggest problem is Americans TV shows and politicians only show the fake side of America ( everyone live in a big house) and promote to the world that if you come to America, you will be rich.\nThe government needs to help American people first, before get involved other countries business and pretend to be the big brother, keep sending the money we can’t afford.

I feel sorry for them but, America has to take care of its own first. We already have too many homeless & issues that need to be fixed here before anyone else can come here. They need to close the borders for a few years for us to heal

If the US Government would not do anything to stop this craziness, the American people would be doomed. Protect the United States of America. Else, you will become a third-world country, crimes are everywhere, difficult to find jobs, can barely afford food, more homeless, rough life. I came from a third-world country. It’s not nice. Life is very tough. Do you, American people want to live like that? Bet, you won't survive. So, do something. Choose the right people to be in the office who do something for the American people. U.S. sanctions against Venezuela is what helped caused this in the first place lol. And now we are crying because we helped ruin their country. Just because Venezuela had the gall to take back the oil that belonged to them in the first place. Look at the country of all the immigrants coming here and you will find that each and every one of them was ruined in part because of our country. The U.S. has a long dark history involving Latin America and now we are crying about it because it's affecting us after countless years making these people's lives absolute misery in their country.

Illegal entry is illegal in any OTHER countries. Why do a lot of Americans pity them and want to accept them when we can’t even support our own homeless families, young kids without parents… America is suffering so much rn. No reason to pity them. I have interviewed hundreds of these people, my first question is “why do you want to come to America?” Their first response is always the same… money. Hardly any of them answer “to work hard” don’t be fooled. Humans are all the same. America to them is a place you can travel to get a brand new nice hotel room unlimited food, internet, clothes and spending money. Imo these people are the exact same mindsets as those who join BLM riots and raid Walmarts.

They get free housing, free education including COLLEGE, free food, first to get jobs because they are minorities over those Americans who were born here and then they protest that they aren’t treated fairly??? If BW could see just how Americanized we are we wouldn't keep traveling to these countries and ending up getting murdered there. It's too many people coming into the United States. Highly overcrowded. The US needs to start taking care of their own citizens first. There's homeless Americans right here that are citizens, there are hungry people right here in the US that are American citizens. They need to start helping their own first. These Americans should not be without anything. And then United States is quick to help other states before they help they own. It's really a shame. And half the people that come here from other countries don't even like Americans. There shouldn't be not one homeless American citizen in America. The country has billions and billions of dollars and they should be able to house their own citizens.

First off all America is not just the U. S.

America is broken right now, our own people can't even find housing because it's so expensive.. we have to fix ourselves first.

It's unconscionable that we've invited people to come to Canada without actually following through on the promise we made to them in the first place. Was it all just sloganeering designed to appeal to liberal progressive NIMBYers? Was there ever any intent on actually doing something for these poor people beyond a sound bite or photo op? \n\nThe solution to migration because of war, terror, famine and so on is not by opening up the borders and allowing everyone in, the solution to mass migrations (over 100 million worldwide) is to tackle the conditions that make such migrations necessary. Almost without exception, each one of these migrant/refugee situations are the result of political problems that have to be tackled in those countries where the conditions exist. There are over 100 million people fleeing conditions that make life unbearable, even if we wanted to, how are we to take them all into North America? How does anyone propose we do that, and even if we could manage it somehow, another 100 million would show up on our doorstep next year...or next week...it's simply not possible or reasonable to expect us to be overwhelmed by wave after wave of the poor unfortunate. The solutions to war and famine abroad can't be found here and we need to make it plain that people who live in such conditions must first rise up to help themselves. We can and should help, politically, through foreign aid and individual donations (North Americans are among the most generous donators after all), and even militarily where feasible or possible. The UN and other coalitions of nations, must each take up the burdens before people smugglers take it up for them. We have our own problems to deal with here and I'm not willing to vote for promises made that were never meant to be kept.
