It's really difficult to understand the bureaucracy.\n\nBureaucracy:\nIt took me 9 months to get a working permit.\nFor a renewal, I had to make an appointment to have an appointment... The last time they offered me an appointment after 1.5 years.\n\nYou don't get a right answer from the people who works there. Your life depends on those people.\n\nAs an expat who lives 3.5 years in Germany, I still don't have an German bank account which is not online. Basically, they don't open the account or giving an appointment to over 1 months or etc. \n\nBut this bureaucracy is for all. Germans also have the same issue.\n\nHousing is also an issue. I tried to apply the same places by my name and a German name. It was possible to get an appointment by a German name :) \nBut I do understand them that they find Germans of course more trustworthy.\n\nCulture:\nI don't think many people are racist here. I even live in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. They were mostly nice to me. However, the city you live change a lot. Hamburg is one of the best city about welcoming expats. People are nice and kind. Never had an issue here.

Sad about leaving Canada? You get taxed up the….., it’s frozen for half of the year, the people are also frozen and they try to stab you in the back (especially in Quebec). A childhood classmate of mine visited Canada and these are her impressions: people are fat, disgusting, it’s boring, depressing, cold, gloomy; every second person is in a wheelchair but they don’t have to be, pretending to be disabled because the government pays them for disabilities, etc. After going back home every person that she saw on the street was extremely gorgeous in her eyes after the horror that she saw in Canada…. This is obviously a little exagerated and coming from someone whose expectations were high but you get the point.\n\nWe don’t need to be driving brand new cars all the time, live in brand new homes and spend thousands of dollars for the services that we don’t really need… life is all about simplicity and being able to enjoy every single moment: so many countries in the world offer that: not Canada.

There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. It’s because of behaviour like this Canadians are hating international students from India .?. The 2022 -2023 batch on international students are a disgrace not saying g all of them are bad just most dont come to study just a back door into the country they see one of there family members went to Canada and they should to ?‍♀️. There was a polling conducted and most Canadians want less immigration from India . Canada is not as big like America . Having so ma y people come in just puts a strain on housing, who would think that people from a hot country would want to go to a cold country…. Just go to a wormer country . Many Indians aren’t even thinking about coming to Canada anymore look for other countries. Or better yet stay in India ??. If you have money you can live a really good life in India . Taxes , are high , homes are crazy expensive , car insurance is high , people’s are getting there cars stolen don’t see the benefit really coming to Canada . And most Indians already own there own house in India so way come to Canada and in India you pay very small taxes as well .?‍♂️ and at the end of the day white people are so racist towards Indians know they look at you like you are the reason there life is messed up ? make India. Great ????. America only has its military going for it it’s such a racist place to live as well . Canada talks about how great their health care is but when you see the wait times and how they have less doctors not so great . Canada and America are only great if you are already rich but if you are poor or middle class life is a struggle. I came to Canada in 2016 worked in IT until I had enough money saved up moved back to India and bought land and built a house just started buying more land and when I had enough moved back to India . Us Indians can be successful anywhere so way not be successful in our country. Hold out politicians accountable to make our country great ……… if someone wants to still come go right ahead it’s your life . But I don’t see the point t really ???‍♂️. India. And Japan is the most technology advanced country more than America even . America and Canada are just is just over hyped…… and there people are so racist to our people so way would I want to stay in there country ?‍♂️. And people that will say they want to bring there parents to Canada most of t he time it is cold and they will be inside so it’s better for your parents to live in india. Personally. I have my parents they live in GOA with me they can’t be happier.

Here in India, honest people with sheer hardwork over decades buy some house or land so that they can give some assets to their future generation. Of late, people have stopped renting out their properties just because laws are completely in favour of the violent and well connected people. Anyone can lay a claim on your property and if he is cunning, you may even die defending your title on your own property. Justice system is completely rotten and tenancy cases are stuck for decades in magistrates' court(not even the lowest rung of judiciary).\n\n\nThis is the reason people prefer to emigrate to first world countries as there is still functional justice system there. However, after this video, my belief has just solidified that democratic nations all around the world are suffering from same issues.

In general, the Indian diaspora people all over the world, including Brampton are industrious, hard working, law abiding and assimilated within the local population, They tend to be economically well to do, with many of them gaining high level of education and that is the reason why there are so many Indian CEO of international conglomerates, such as the World Bank, Google, Microsoft, Coca Cola et al. By the way, the white Canadians are early migrants to that country mostly from the UK and France.

There are way to many international students from\nPunjab coming to Canada . It’s alarming canada is slowly becoming India 2.0 it’s scary Canada is losing their own identity. Canada should suspend any students coming from India to Canada . There aim is to not study but get pr . Shameless. The mass immigration has screwed things up there aren’t enough houses aren’t enough jobs like what in the world is going own . Many even abusing the tourists visa as well and working illegally. During Diwali they even started using fireworks in the streets It’s people’s behaviour that’s the problem of course Canadians will start hating on foreigners then what do you expect. Indians that blended in that came to Canada years ago were finally getting respected and it all went down hill\nBecause of all the influx of people\nComing from small villages. Even Indians that have been living in Canada for years are tiered of it making every one else in the community that worked hard to build a life for themselves in Canada are being treated bad

It started when Canada govt wants all cheap labor truck driver, mechanics, carpenters, ets that they call trade field and gave PR to them, govt could have called them on temporary work visa can gave PR to only with cream part of people from all over as even pakisthani , bangladeshi, other south asian and other tropical people who look like Indias are normally blamed as bad people.

I’m a Korean American who has lived here my entire life since birth. I have lived in many other places and the thing about immigrants is they ALWAYS share the same traits wherever they go. \nI live in an affluent area and whenever the immigrants from poor countries come in they all do the same things…throw trash and litter everywhere, the attitude of “I made it just like you therefore I deserved to be treated like a king”..telling them to turn down the music at 2am and not understanding why so instead you are met with argumentative resistance instead of them just saying “hey we’re sorry won’t happen again, we don’t want to be that guy in this neighborhood. Our apologies” but nope. They continue to do it night after night and the audacity to even get angry. The crowding of all of their families in disrepspectful ways such as cutting in line while everyone else is patiently waiting, if there is free samples of food, they will group up and annihilate whatever they are offering not even caring about anyone else but their own. Leaving a very bad image for us East Asians when people from the red flag dragon nation come in droves. Being extremely loud in public while talking about petty nonsensical things most times but they yell and laugh not caring whoever else is around. Even if the room is quiet they have zero situational awareness, never putting things back when they grab them from stores or gym etc. they expect someone to pickup and do this for them. The entitlement ?….if something is on sale they don’t understand to take just one or two, they have to take the entire box so no one else can get it. \nI his list never ends and they don’t understand why people don’t want them living in their countries. It’s not just Germany it’s everywhere. \nHow do you expect people to like you when you make it difficult to do so.

What is so crazy if you have VPN and a couple of minor technologies you can watch social media from around the world, using easy technology you can hear and see what people are saying, thinking and doing all over the world. This is a Canada specific video but this same video, almost exactly that same issues are playing out all over the world! Pick a country and people want to leave.. to get to the greener grass on the other side.. that other place, other country or culture where things are better, more like they used to be, the entire planet is in a state of flux!! Everyone is trying to run away from something bad.. makes sense.. just the illogical part is where you are going has same stuff just different levels of progress!!

We have immigrants coming to Canada from all over the world and there are a lot of students too, but there is something terribly wrong with people from India. When coming to a new country, you have to come to a point where you respect that country's law and your values too. You cannot impose your laws and values on them. Freedom is given here but don't abuse it. Lastly, live for a little bit under the sun and stop this race mentality.

Sorry to say that but Indians are very corrupt, they are trying to cheat any system or any rule. They are the ones behind all kinds of illegal implementations on: Immigration(selling jobs which is illegal), banking system(forging income documents to get high Mortgages from banks), cheating on documents(like fake school letter of acceptances or fake banking statements) and exams(offering to enter exams on behalf of others with a charge). These are not general considerations, I personally am in the know of all these examples myself and I am hearing many others. \nAdditionally they are disrupting the labor market by lowering life standards. To be specific, there are many indians, living 10-20 people in the same home, lowering their life costs, then going to businesses offering for a much lower salaries, hourly wages since their living costs are considerably low. This is not a fair competition, you can not expect people to live in barracks, just to be able to compete. this is disrupting social life.\nThe pooping and these kinds of senitary examples are just the icing on the cake. \n\nFinally, the indian community are not trying to come in to Canada and be a part of the community and the system, instead they are trying to turn this country into India, which they are running from in the first place. \n\nCanadians are nice yes, but any sound person should react accordingly if their kindness is abused. \nOfficial are needed to take actions on this, since I don't expect the Indian comm unity to behave.

I would wait till next year. The Trudeau Liberals will be removed from power and will be replaced by a Conservative government that will govern as a centralist government. Nearly all of the problems in Canada have been created by the Trudeau Liberals. Mass immigration, the federal government working against the provincial governments and interfering in provincial jurisdictions. Spending Canadian taxpayers on foreign aid when there are so many needs in Canada. For example $100 million to Haiti,$100 million to Hamas. If anything we should send these areas seeds, shovels, buckets and some\n lumber & chicken wire. Once they use the lumber and chicken wire to build chicken coops we will send them some breeding stock. They will be busy growing their own food, and will not have time for rioting in Haiti or digging tunnels and firing off rockets into Israel by Hamas. They can use their time productively growing food and taking care of animals for food. If you send them money and food, the heads of groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and PLO just siphon off the money, they are all millionaires. The same thing in Haiti the ruling class siphoned off the money so it did not go to the needs of the people. \n The Liberals have focused on increasing taxes , the so-called climate crisis and basically woke social issues. IE free hard drugs for drug addicts.A soft-on-crime policy that just emboldens thieves. IE car theft in Canada. The Liberals are poor money managers and poor project managers IE The Trans Mountain pipeline came in at $27 billion over budget? \n Canada works well with a centralist governing party . That will happen when the Liberals are replaced with a Conservative government.

Just say the truth instead talking around so much and said only one thing, that you are moving from Canada. Just say, everything is to expensive. The life became running after expenses. At the same time there is less and less opportunities. After you add to all that, the fact that the life style in 6 to 7 months long winter is limited, boring, monotone, mainly in closed environment. Even people who have a lot of money cannot change this life style much. There is a lots of more details, but these are the most obvious once.

Leaving may solve your problems but only for very short time, because whatever place you end up in, it may be no better, and good deal worse, since you won't be a citizen there. Remember too, that Europe and US are all afflicted with the same WOKE, antidemocratic malady destroying Canada. The only sure way to improve situation is by staying, standing up and fighting (legally, and non violently if possible) for what you believe. There must be more of people who feels like you.\nBut I have to say something bitter to you and all those thinking about leaving.\nCanada was a good place for you for years, like a good Mother. But now when the country is in deep troubles you won't even consider standing up and defending Her. Instead you'd rather pack up and leave. This shows to me, that you don’t feel like a Canadian. Deep in you heart, you still feel like an immigrant with no roots, no home and no stake in the fight. After all those years.\nDon't you see? This is exactly why WOKE monsters who grabbed power in Canada and other democratic countries so love immigrants and crank immigration up beyond reason and capacity. \nSo there is more people with mindset like yours. When things get hard, they either will run away from fight or cast their lot on the side of oppressors.\nOr not?\nOr maybe you'd rather see Canada becoming a good place as She was before, back in old days when She took you in, offered good future and safety to grow up? Fighting for Her now, when it is being ripped apart by evil, it’s a right thing to do. It's called giving back.\nReal citizens, belonging to the nation and the country understand it. But you don’t seem to grasp it. \nPerhaps it is a business person selfish mindset too, I don’t know. \nI know that thankfully most of people understands it. For most part unprivileged ones, those working and paying taxes and even those who were treated in worse way by country that should care for them, and parents of children whose future is now in great danger, they will not flee. They will fight for their countries, wherever they are at this moment.\nMe, I will fight for Ireland, as it is going to hell too.\nSo, God bless people of Canada. Fight for Her and your homes and your future, because enemy is at the gates and he is real and powerful one. I love it how the video conveniently omits the reason why the housing supply is so inadequately low in Canada - real-estate developers and rental agencies lobbying all levels of government to keep zoning laws draconian and to make new construction increadibly difficult. For example, an enormous proportion of Toronto's urban area is still zoned exclusively for single-family housing. The landlords, who are currently extracting record profits from regular people with no sign of decline, are more than happy to shift the blame towards immigrants, and it saddens me to see that respectable media outlets like the Guardian are becoming a part of it.

With nearly every country in the world today still being run on feudal lines it's no wonder that their countries people find it harder to survive...\n\nThe feudal system where you have an ancestral elite lording it over others will never work in this the 21st century and on...\n\nThese elite are the ones that drain not only their country but they drain their countries indigenous people too... So much so that the indigenous people can barely afford to survive with draconian taxes and rules that the elite enforce upon them!!!!\n\nTheir system is as corrupt as they are and it needs to be stopped before it's too late!!!\n\nCountries should be run by 1 central office and a sub office in every village, town and city and managed as a business where if the managers can't do their job then they are out!\n\nTheir should be no ancestral elite taking all of the wealth and most of the land from their indigenous people or country! I understand peoples idea of leaving Canada. That's okay, you can do that. I'll never leave Canada. It's my home, it's gonna be my home. No matter what yes, we're going through some tough times right now but I can tell you right now. The whole world is going through some tough times it isn't just cand to blame everything on Trudo. Is not right. The conservatives have just as much in this game as anyone else. All these governments have basically fought amongst each other and did nothing to do anything good for Canadians. Now now to run away from Canada and say oh, it's terrible. Oh I can't live here. No more but. That's fine. Don't I get it right now? It sucks living in Canada. The cost of living is absolutely insane but that was federal governments, allowing big corporations to run the country. We have 3 large corporations that run the groceries. We have 3 large corporations that run the cell phone companies. And they charge whatever the hell they want. The government is to blame for all of that because they allowed it to happen and it is just the liberals who is the conservatives as well. They're all to blame for that. The thing is we have to voting. Governments that are actually going to do something to make things right agand we now have a world economy. It's not just a Canadian economy. We have to play by their rules. In order to survive, there's a lot of greedy people out there. And we're the ones in the middle. And that's the way it is until we change it ourselves. Leaving the country isn't going to change anything and it certainly isn't going to change. For the better

As an Indian, who is the highest income earning ethnicity in Germany like USA.. Yes I can say that people are good as I have many German friends and some directly judge me as per my face and clothes to look cool n all(but yes they respect us). And not only Germans but also other people from Western countries and Korea, Japan, Indonesia and some treat us differently. They say that we are talented people but have that old stereotype in them which I can read on many people's faces as soon as I see them. but I don't care. \n Apart from that, Germany has slow bureaucracy, long waiting times, no adjustments nd easy to go like us, canceled trains,less digital infra., and a language barrier. I work as a highly skilled professional in a Supply chain with so-so pay.

Additionally, issues have been raised about unruly behavior, including playing loud music and creating disturbances, which can affect the peace and quiet of local communities. This behavior isn’t limited to one group; individuals from various communities, including White Canadians, have sometimes contributed to these challenges. Moreover, some students and individuals have brought political issues from their home countries into Canada, leading to protests that disrupt the harmony here.\n\nWhile it’s important to address these concerns, we must do so in a way that promotes understanding and respects the contributions of all communities. Fostering unity is essential in celebrating the multicultural strength of Canada.

First of all, Canadians are paying a high price because of this government that has been ruining the country for the past 10 years. Besides that, many serious people have given everything in their lives to legalize their status in Canada, through studies and work over the past few years, and now they are having to experience total scarcity in this cold country, without being able to return to their home countries under reasonable conditions since they have already left everything behind. And the Canadian propaganda continues to be strong, attracting immigrants from various continents. ??‍♂️

For me a Québécois, we missed the boat in 1995. Too bad if you don’t like it but we got screwed by newly arrived immigrants back then and we are being drowned by immigrants now. The difference is that you too in the ROC are being drowned. I am a Quebec nationalist, it’s in my guts. My family has roots going back to New France. Canada has always been an imposition for us just as we to the First Nations I guess. That’s unfortunately neither here nor there at this point in history and I apologize for it. I could blame the Trudeau government but any government in Canada would do the same for neoliberal/conservative ideological reasons. We have a neoconservative government right now in Quebec. They have practically killed our nation from the inside in order to discredit the social democratic and socialist tendencies that did so much to develop this nation. These are the ones who would literally step on their grandmothers neck to attain higher status in life. Since for me this place is where I feel the most a part of and have understood long ago that the ROC had done everything to negate us as a people a nation and the dream of an independent country with close ties to the ROC is and probably never was in the cards, I have started hoping for some kind of political union with mother France since it has become painfully clear that Canada as a strong bicultural self respecting truly independent country is a bygone notion. Just look at our military, it’s a monumental farce. Look at the insane levels of immigration, we cannot support this!! PERIOD!!! Look at way we genuflect to the US’s economic visions without questioning anymore. The Quebec people are a nation, Canada unfortunately is only a notion. For me getting out of Canada is also a reality except since this place never was one of a cash cow there only to send funds to some family elsewhere I believe we Québécois and Québécoise, with the respect for the First Nations that we have always owed them, need to go our way. So leave Canada, in fact there are too many of you already. We are not the US, we cannot afford the social chaos of savage predatory capitalism. What is bringing this confederation down is exactly that. Wanting to cram Canada, all its constituent parts into an Merican hole. No matter the price. Goodbye Canada you hardly wanted to know us.

There are a lot more reasons to leave Canada other than the insanely high cost of living, which comes from inflation, a hidden tax, the higher crime or greater drug use. In general the quality of the people sucks, and what she may know but is not mentioning is the fact that it is only a matter of time before they institute digital mark of the beast central bank slave money in Canada. Then the government will control your money 100%, and will tell you what you can do or not do and thing or not think or poof, there goes your money. They are also paying farmers all over the place to stop growing food, because of climate change, lol, so there will be food shortages and energy shortages because that causes rises in co2, a gas that when doubled makes plants grow 50% faster. The ruling class in Canada has much worse plans for Canadians than they realize, and I wish people would be more honest and knowledgeable to talk about these things too. But yeah, economically in 10 years what it is going to be like in Canada will make what is happening now look like a stroll in the park.

It's sad to see how governments around the world have abandoned their people and their culture with an agenda that clearly is shared amongst the elites of the world. If you step back and analyse countries throughout North America and a good portion of Europe, its evident there is a common goal they all share. Whether it's the WEF or NWO, there is a group orchestrating the demise of civilization. My wife and I are planning on moving far away from Southern Ontario in the hopes we can still find the essence of being Canadian in the east coast. Beyond that we will travel to the Orient in winters... for now. I don't know if PP can turn things around or if it's really his plan, but we have to change our current government and at least give him a chance. Good luck Alina on your travels. From Poland. Arrived yo Canada at the end of 2020. I am nearing my 4th year here, in a small village. I arrived with my 6-year-old daughter to begin my writing career. Now, 40% of my daughter's childhood has been spent here and I I go to court soon to fight for my child to be returned home to me. After nearly one year- a year of financial hardship because I have to travel without a driver's license and without a group of friends to drive me- I have my very first hearing with a judge in Youth Court in a matter that has no foundation to begin with, follows no rule of law, and acts arbitrarily. My child whom I homeschooled to the praise of the provincial ministry of education and was following a classical liberal arts education path that had her outpacing students in the province was entrusted to the care of a Child Services company (that has a record of placements that have resulted in child murders). My child's life has been irrevocably upset to say the least. NO ONE LEAVING CANADA GIVES THIS STORY AS A RESON FOR QUITTING THIS COUNTRY. I guess no Canadians care about their children like I do my precious gift from God. True, O come from the former Soviet Union where Marshal Law (Emergency Measures Act) were commonplace. I lived through two in Canada in 4 years: one Federal, and one through Provincial Youth Court where I await my turn to see a judge after my daughter was removed from my care. People do not know they have no biological ownership of their children, because I guess few Canadians value their children to care about their own laws. But these laws also apply to immigrants too. What money was taken from me during the move and resettlement, the government takes by creating more expenses for me than I could ever imagine or budget for. Emotionally, I am a wreck. Rather than commencing my writing career, I have been seeking low-income lawyers, reading the provincial law on Youth Protection, filing complaints within a circular system (the watchdog is part of the system not outside of it) and preparing all evidence to prove I have done nothing wrong [just like in communist rule]. Have you ever given any thought to the difficulties in proving your innocence? \nNO ONESEEMS AWARE OF THIS DETERENT TO BRINGING CHILDREN TO CANADA. NO ONE. IT IS THE ONLY ONE I COULD NOT PLAN FOR. All other complaints like the economy, or the weather, or inflation I have survived. But taking away my child, my reason to settle in Canada for a life of freedom for her, my legacy, was unthinkable. People ask me in this small village where is my daughter. Their rosy cheeks become snow white when I tell them. Canadians here are unaware and scared like cattle in a thunder storm. Many are addicted to welfare payments, cannabis, prescription drugs, and television. They all seem to be waiting in a pen of fear. I am stuck here now, with little financial resource to fight for my child's life. It is unfortunate that no one will read my comment because it is an inscrutable wall of text or too frightening. Unless someone reads it, no help will come for my daughter. (Because she is a dual citizen, the local Polish Ambassador will not step in - another drawback for having a Canadian passport). Canada is so spread out that it is difficult to get anywhere without having a car . The airlines are all fleeing service to the small cities. That is a big problem for people who want to travel internationally. I remember when I lived in Quesnel BC in the 1970’s , there was a PWA Boeing 737 - 200 with daily service to Vancouver. Now there is no longer any flights to Vancouver from Quesnel . Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal are the only options for international travellers.

for those who say i the coments that a country needs to be monoethnic to be safe one question remains. How do legal migrants who go to work there make the country unsafe? I'm portuguese, we have many people from different ethnicities, and we are the 4th safest country in the world. You don't need to be monoethnic to be safe. In our case it would be historically innacurate with all the portuguese speaking countries around the world that have adopted most traces of the portuguese culture. Our country hasn't been monoethnic since the 1600s. One thing is not wanting illegals to cross easily another one is the blatant hatred and discrimination that I see in the comments.

It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

I agree with you on the demise of Canada, too much crime and no accountability from the justice system. Trans, DEI and affirmative action policies of both the government and some major corporations are legalizing racism and discrimination. People should be treated all equal but that is not the case anymore. Toronto a few years back dropped the standards for Police and Firefighters. If your house is on fire do you want a rescuer who is 70% competent of one that is 100% competent. Canada trump all human rights for a few human rights.

Alina hasn’t figured out yet that all countries of any consequence are run by the same syndicate. They control the puppet politicians and the fake political parties. Canada is still benefiting from its previous homogenous culture and economy but now things are deteriorating rapidly. It happens to so many people from all over the world to want to move to another country. Nothing wrong with that. It's in our human nature to always wander / wonder about. It's the same desire that has got MAN to where we are now. Flying to the moon. Exploring the outer reaches of the universe. Hello Alina, I have been to Toronto in 2007, and I can honestly say, I did not like it. I have my cousin in Vancouver, and after staying there for so long. Has decided to come back to Perth. If I was a young guy, Thailand would be my choice to live. I have just come back from Koh Samui, After spending 8 nights on that beautiful Island. I have met a lot of people from all walks of life. There are lots of people setling in Thailand today. Americans, English, Swedish, people from Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Norway and so on. I had the pleasure of seeing Lilly, her husband Wat, and her gorgeous 3 kids, her nanny, and her son. The food is so cheap, everybody smiles. Not like here in Perth. I also didn't like the answer by the comissioner, because she told in a way that this is a responsibility by every country to take refugees. By this answer she provides the wrong signal to asylum seekers (that they can demand something from host countries) and also I don't think that it should be a respinsibility of the states, but their will. It should be win-win offer for both sides. But of course I think everybody would like to help to people in the trouble, but recources are not infinite everywhere also. And also there are a lot of imposters. That's why I don't like when governments provide too much social support for all. It should be, but limited. And motivate people to be independent.

Borders exist for a reason. It’s not fair to citizens of ANY country to dump hoards of unknown, unvetted people onto us and our cities AND expect us to support, educate, provide healthcare and pay for them. People from poor countries think westerners and Europeans are all rich. In our societies we work extremely hard and sacrifice our entire lives to have a good future and healthcare if we need it. We pay a lot of tax to have safe cities and towns. When you dump thousands and millions of people into our countries we all sacrifice even more and cannot access housing, healthcare or social programs because they are overwhelmed helping illegals. That is not fair to citizens of any nation. The real difference would be teaching poorer war torn countries how to build fair societies. How to build an economy. How to develop a democracy. How to root out government corruption. How to be tolerant of other religions. How to take care of your own citizens!!

If Canadians are unhappy about immigration, that literally means it’s an indisputable scientific fact that there are immense issues with our system. The dark and disgusting side of this that doesn’t get talked about is how many newcomers leave shortly after spending everything they have to boost our GDP before they realize they’ll never get the opportunity or life they were promised here. I don’t think it’s just Canadians that see immense issues with our immigration system.\n\nImmigration also implies diversity. Canada has to start recognising degrees from other countries. Here in B.C. we have emergency rooms closing overnight due to lack of staffing. We need doctors and nurses yet the barriers for those immigrating to get their degrees recognised mean many never qualify.\n\nCanada also needs to look at who we are admitting in and to terminate the family unification policy. When immigration was helping the country grow there was a different demographic coming in. Often it was single men or young married couples. As they came by themselves they assimilated into the mosiac of the country. When you concentrate on immigrants from one country instead of assimilating they setup ethnic communities. \n\nLook into what study groups have said that is contributing to gang violence. It's ethnic groups that have the grandparents, parents and grand kids all living in one home. The grandparents want the grand kids to adhere to their native culture. Unfortunately by time you get to the grand kids they are Canadian. They speak English/French depending where they live with little interest in speaking their ethnic language. There is cultural conflict within the home hence street life is where they find love and caring.\n\nSome cultures are not as community minded. Part of the high cost of renting/housing is based on greed not need. In my own community I know of apartment units now renting at 2,500 - 4,000/month owned by the same people that even five years back you could have rented for 500 - 800. There is no justification for that percentage of increase other than greed.\n\nJob opportunities. Summer employment for school kids is going down yearly. You see local business that use to hire students over the summer month claiming they can't find any workers. They bring in TFW yet Canadian students can't find work. You can tell the owners nationality of a business by the nationality of the workforce. A local store bought by a east Indian two years ago which at the time had a diverse workforce is now entirely staffed by east Indians. Becsuse Canada cannot accomidate an influx of people all at once. People from.3rd world countries who suddenly have access to a heath system for free? Thats gonna make for overcrowded hospitals. As an Indian student, i would like to share with you my perspective \n1) you will never see me dancing in public, blasting music and littering \n\nI actually spend my sundays cleaning plastic from trails \n\n2) i am a full time student for 4 years funding over 90 grand for a bachelor on top of that paying my taxes and paying 1100$ a month for rent being limited to 24 hours a week I do not work outside campus I work the job the college provided to me \n\nThe problem comes up when people use the 1 year and 6 month diploma program to enter the country and work here full time \n\nThey associate themselves only with indians mainly because they cant speak the English language fluently \nTherefore they associate with the exact people they associated with back home \n\nHow will they adapt to a new country if they hang out with the same people \n\n\nI came to canada with a goal \n\nTo make Canadian friends \nLearn about Canadian culture \nStart a new life \nAnd work my ass off to get my degree \n\n\nMost people move here to make more money \n\nThey sell their land and do so \n\nPlease do not associate hard working indians who adapt and leave their past behind with these people who have come here purely to exploit the system\n\n\nTrust me I know it's hard to hear this but good Indians do exist. My landlord has like 10 properties that he uses illegally in things like airbnb and renting on cash. On just the top floor, there are like 10 people and I am paying like $1650 for a single room with ensuite washroom. This landlord subleases the house for things like airbnb and he is not even the owner and yeah basically, Canada is country where all the con men come from around the world where they have learned to find loopholes in the system come to practice it here. We can't even dream of having a house of our own because these people with crazy money just buy up all the properties. 1 man ends up having so many houses where others can't even buy 1 and so we have to resort to paying rent/morgage of these people who keep multiplying their properties.

We also face a similar challenge in other countries that housing is a crisis and governments keep bringing in all sorts of immigrants, from refugees to highly skilled people (like myself). I have switched 5 cities and the story either gets more worse or less worse. Half a year searching for a decent apartment? Some search for years! It's a full time job. The government gets back to my request after many months! Foreigners offices are packed with applications and citizenship is taking years long now. Getting a doctor appointment (psychological issues) within a year is hard, unless you pay from pocket or are in grave danger. We are being squeezed in here and they started new loose immigration policies to be more attractive to foreigners. Address the quality of life at the same time!
