Why did the media report on the logistics of Trumps mass deportation plan before the election?

Unbelievable! People are just so ignorant. Trump's new Border czar, Tom Homan said on CBS 60 Minutes, 2 days before the election, that he'd deport illegal immigrants AND legal immigrants AND those born in America who have illegal parents or grandparents. That means mixed-status families would all get deported AND today said the administration would conduct workplace raids!!!! Nothing else to say.

Electing Trump has shown the world exactly who we are in the US, Easily Duped by a con man who's promises he can't keep by design were to keep him out of jail.

I see evidence of some people who think electing Trump will essentially rid this country of Hispanics, whom they are just so eager to be seen removed from here. That is both an extremely naive and very racist set of expectations. You are either in the U.S. legally or illegally and if illegally then you need to leave or be removed. There are of course legally authorized exceptions, like for work so Democrats need to stop with the nobody to work in the fields BS. We are headed for a higher inflation again if this is implemented. How about immigration reform instead? How about work permits? How about paths to citizenship? We need the workers.
