I think that Trump is either gone completely mad or he has turned traitor to America. As an Australian I stand completely in solidarity with Canada but really worry about our reliance on the US. If Trump has no loyalty to his neighboring allies , what chance do we have of him supporting us? I am very glad that important people are finally standing up to this bully.

I’m a US citizen and I so sorry that the Trump Administration has chosen to do this to Canada. Hello from Germany We have very good political programs on television here. “Markus Lanz” is currently running. I believe that German citizens are much better informed about the domestic political situation than American citizens. And what is happening in America should be deeply concerning to the American people. In our assessment, the American administration under Trump, Vance and Musk is transforming the USA into an authoritarian state run by American oligarchs in which there is no democracy, freedom of speech or freedom of expression, information controlled by the state, fake news, etc. America is in great danger domestically.

First and foremost let’s be reminded that Trump is doing this for Putin in retaliation to what the Biden administration did to Russia with the sanctions for invading Ukraine. Secondly, Trump wants to be King. By weakening our economy and putting millions of people at risk and ruining their lives, he hopes a civil war can be started so that Russia, North Korea and possibly China can attack us while at war with each other and the Federal Government.
