I live in Germany for about 6 years, moving from Bosnia and didnt have any of those problems mentioned, excluding the bureaucratic hurdels. You dont need to Chase down ilegals, you just have to shutdown their Bank accounts , requesting agencies to ask for proof of social securty number and and apply huge fines over companies that hire ilegals. First this would be very costly. It takes money away from citizens that could use the monetary application like the homeless. Next, working illegals pay into social security that they will never use.
