Democrats: Stop complaining about taxes on corporations…taxes are not related to prices. \n\nAlso Democrats: Trump’s taxes on foreign countries DEFINITELY increase prices of goods and is bad for consumers. \n\n??? Can’t make up the delusion.

Traffics will increase costs initially, but American companies will start bringing jobs home as it costs them more to operate in foreign countries. The question is why is Columbia not accepting their citizens back! They know they sent their gangs and criminals to the US and don’t want to deal with them again!
|

I’m sure other countries will buy coffee beans and oil from Columbia. Probably will just slightly increase cost of coffee and oil in USA. Make it a 50% tariff to have a bigger impact.
|

So the price of a kilo of cocaine increased by 25%. LOL

What makes Trump the most transactional scumbag of all the presidents of the USA in history, is his pettiness. It is clear that Orange Jesus trwats entire nations the same as contestants in a dystopian version of The Apprentice. One of the many ironies is that his use of tariffs dooms Americans to paying ever increasing costs for everything they need or want. Just think of bananas which are one of the least costly fruits that poorer families may be able to afford and can be consumed by infants to the elderly with some kind of nutritional value. Thanks to the Gutless Orange Fool, even bananas are more expensive. But don't worry, the top 10% of Americans have 60% of all wealth so, they can have all the bananas they desire!

So many people don't fundamentally understand how tariffs work. America is one of the largest consumer markets in the world with the strongest impact on the global economic scale. Every country NEEDS their goods sold to the United States and tariffs make them pay more to get there goods here giving us a cash influx. while also dramatically increasing the competitive edge for domestic companies to compete against foreign slave markets.

|
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Adding a tarriff isn't going to have a significant change in prices for their products. That's because they are not the sole provider of said products.\n\nAny modest price increases will be for replacing their supply with other sources.
|
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Now coffee will increase a lot for us\nJust wait and see
|

To be posted on all kinds of media:\n\nTrump's increase in the national debt will force Americans to pay taxes to China!
|

Why negative minded people only watch things from one perspective? Of course, the importers might increase the good prices after Tarrifs. However, that gonna make less sale volumes if you have other competitions. If the sale volume is down, the amount to be exported from will be also down.

It's not surprising that Trump doesn't want his grades from Wharton School of Business released because he was at the bottom of his class and he is a multiple times failed businessman who has had everything in his life handed to him on a silver platter. Trump doesn't understand the basic fact that tariffs are passed on to consumers and INCREASE prices, NOT decrease them.
|
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
increase the tariff to 200 percent.

Columbia joining BRICS group and maintaining friendly relationship with Russia is the right way forward. Columbia export of Coffee via Peru-China mega port has increased by leaps and bounds.
|

The Colombian state will not have to pay an extra cent, the tariffs are loaded onto US consumers, increasing their cost of living.
|

Imagine the prices increase when he starts putting tariffs on EU? USA will have a hard time with high prices
|

So if it carries on like this, Donald Chaos is going to be applying trade tariffs against many of his neighbors for not taking back their migrants that the US needs to keep their domestic economy afloat? So it'll be costing the US at least an equivalent cost increase to continue buying goods from Columbia (and other countries as yet unknown to add to the list) until the US has no sources left to switch to that are un-tariffed and more economic.\nThese countries will just sell their goods elsewhere if the US doesn't buy them, so the American consumer loses out and pays to finance this fiasco in the making = US price inflation. \nSo falling out with your neighbors is how to make America great again is it?\nWhat sort of successful businessman works like this and succeeds? Donald Chaos, the Art of The Fail.

Here comes the increase prices of Coffee nice job A**hole
|
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
All this means is that USA consumers pay more for whatever Colombia exports and what consumers will need ( supermarket food produce for example) ?? It does not help US farmers who cannot deliver to super markets their field produce because Trump is deporting workers who go into the fields whom primarily collect it !!!\nTrump is basically taxing the US consumers and pushing prices up !! The US importer pays the tariffs (US customs tax at port of entry) whom then passes it onto the consumer !!\nThe consumer can of course not purchase the product which would hurt Colombia exports; the importers would have to hurriedly find another source whom would probably also increase their price because of demand.\nTrump is a loser and always will be; his businesses are mostly failures; even casinos !!

You realize that the prices in the U.S. will increase because of these tariffs?
|
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Liar liar. Food does not only come from Columbia. Columbia business loss is opportunity for another Country to increase their export.
|
| 2025-01-26 | 0 |
Just be aware, tariffs only hurt importers in the country that's utilizing them against another country. Meaning the US is going to get hurt by this along with Colombia. Importers take the hit and then they drive up the price on goods coming in. Meaning inflation increases even more. He's going to wreck the economy if he continues throwing out tariffs like candy. Colombia is likely going to join BRICS from this and will trade primarily with China.

Illegal immigrants are a nuisance to any country. They should be restricted harshly to reduce the chances of increasing the numbers of criminals.

Twenty years ago in Toronto, a one-bedroom apartment could be rented for around $700 a month. Today, a similar apartment costs between $2,500 and $3,000 per month. The government should regulate housing market investments to prevent the pursuit of profits at the expense of ordinary people.
\nWith the large influx of immigrants of all kinds, there is increasing pressure on families and individuals to rent or buy housing. For instance, in one neighbourhood, a house has been fitted with two bunk beds per room, with the owner charging $500 to $700 per bed. One can only imagine how many people live in that house and what it looks like in the summer when everyone gathers in the backyard.
\nIf the government fails to regulate immigration to align with the real needs of the economy and housing market, what’s next? May people be forced to rent a bed for just eight hours of sleep or resort to living in sheds or makeshift plastic tents on the streets?
\nAnd when the economy takes a downturn, leaving people with no income, what will happen then?

yep issue here is housing, to many people coming in not enough housing that is affordable for Immigrates and Canadians which has cause a rise in Homeless, lack of job increases and failure for new businesses to start up, low spending doesnt help it, low income less money going out, less sales. It been very unbalanced.

My understanding is that Immigration Department online application system is increasing its use of AI to handle cases. That creates other problems regarding fair process and meticulous analysis.

Why are they taking another 5,000 refugees from Gaza and giving them money. I don’t understand this government and they complain about housing crisis. Where is the government going to put them. How they know if they are not taking Hamas fighters. I am suppose to be retired but this government keep on taking on more refugees and creating more debt which is increasing taxes. Canada it is enough, you can’t help everyone.
