I wish things become unbearably WORSE. Trump showed ya'll during his first administration, ya'll saw what he did while not in office, and we WARNED ya'll but some way ya'll got amnesia. Basic elementary understanding economics will tell you that:\n1) Tariff is another tax on the people in the country that is issuing the tariff\n2) Cost will always be lower four years prior (except for the period near the great depression) than the current year.\n3) Did ya'll forget about the damage the pandemic did and how some merchants were price gouging...and Biden was going after price gougers?\n\nI could go on and on but I assume that if you didn't listen or pay attention for 8 years, you definitely aint listening to me.

.... Ugh. I don't understand my fellow Americans. I do not understand why they would want to have someone like Donald Trump represent us. I mean is he trying to piss off everyone outside of the US? Don't even get me started on that Trump Gaza AI generated video. Does he really view himself as being a gold statue? I seem to remember a story in a book about people that worship the gold idle of a bull. So does Trump think he's bigger than God? Obviously. Maybe it's the end of times and Donald Trump or Elon musk is the Antichrist. But nevertheless it's a shameful time to be an American citizen.

So can someone clarify for me something, the US is puttint tarrifs against 3 seperate nations about 25% each and then the nations are in turn implementing tarrifts on the US about 25% each, so in total about 75%, how does trump think this is a good idea, each nations that we have tarrifs on only have a fraction of the total tarrifs we will feel, or am I wrong for adding the tarrifs from china mex and canada ??

I think that the long term strategy is to force Canadians to make a decision about joining the United States.

I think Canada is the best partner you can have. Unfortunately, I fear that Trump has no interest in good relations with civilized partners, whether in America, Europe or worldwide. I can well imagine that he is pursuing completely different goals - Moscow is probably just a foretaste ... . Stay strong!

I used to think that the idea that Trump is a Russian asset was just a conspiracy theory. I am not sure of that now as how else to you explain why Trump is doing everything he can to undermine the USA? Why else would you cause a breech between the US and our allies Canada and Mexico? Why else would he destroy the infrastructure of our country through Musk and Doge? Why else would you stop all aid to Ukraine? Why would you stop cyber operations targeting Russia? Why would he set up an operation to humiliate the leader of an allied country fighting for its life against Russian aggression? Why would you send your vice president to Germany and have him insult our allies and not meet with the leadership of the country but rather meet with the essentially neo-Nazi Alternative for Germany? None of this--and many other actions--makes sense unless you begin to understand that Trump is actively trying to weaken our country to the benefit of the Russians. I know it is hard to believe but I can find no other explanation.

As a German and a European i think the best bet of the free democratic Nations of the world is to ally against this. Even though we as Americans might disagree with President Trump, we have to stand firm on some things here, the way PM Trudeau came on here and reversed this tariffs on the US after all we done with this is still an attack on us, we have to think broader and wider, I am a 22 year retired Navy vet and seen how these countries treat us and we have been taken advantage of, it’s time we stand firm. I think we have cheaper alternatives in the US. How about 50%. As long as we have 250% tariffs on American goods, I say keep going. We need reciprocal trade and need to fix the border issues also. We lose so many to the fentanyl. Canada needs to make its military contributions also. We don’t need the bs words from this bs guy. Some better leadership can still fix this but when I hear boycotts, I start checking labels also.

If Trudeau had been strong and forceful on all our problems in the last 5 years, he would still be Prime Minister. i think he got caught up in his own self importance, instead of running our country for the good of it's people.
