As a Canadian screw Trudeau . I'm ashamed to call him my prime minister. At least his dad gave us the bill of rights and freedoms which is a historic document... His son aka Justin is literally ruining Canada .\n\nSo far he's put us in a tonne of debt , has no economic knowledge/political experience, is a hypocrite, went back on his promise for electoral reform (as the old system made him win lol) , is an Islamic extremist apologist , literally gave millions of tax $ to a terrorist because he was detained in Guantanamo aka Omar Khadar -_- etc ... The list goes on.\n\nWasting my tax dollars on people who not only are breaking the law but it's a joke - They just literally walk on over. Many have no skills or anything to actually bring to Canada either. They're not asylum seekers. They're economic migrants who broke the law by coming to the states illiegaly. Now because you actually have a president with balls to kick them out to where they came from they're coming to Canada where they know our PM can't even admit there's such a thing as an extremist Muslim. \nHe keeps using the excuse that Canada was built on immigrants. Yes. True. Legal ones. Or legitimate refugees fleeing war or persecution. Not bloody Donald Trump and a pretty developed / stable country aka the US. Smh. \n\nThe only good thing he's done is legalize weed and even then he's managed to screw it up by making it a government monopoly vs a free market the many US states have where entrepreneurs can thrive.

Since 1910 Canada has maintained a strict immigration policy. Justin Trudeau's days are numbered because he is not upholding the law. He is a mental pipsqueak and a moral coward.\nCanada can stop the people from coming by turning people back at the border. If they cross the border at an unauthorized location they commit a crime and can be detained in custody. If they enter as tourists and overstay, they commit a crime and can be deported or detained in custody.\nWith a population of 35 million or so, Canada welcomes a quarter million legal immigrants per year. There is no welcome for illegal border crossers.

Why is Canada not bashed for turning family’s away and enforcing their laws but American flags are burned and spit on? They don’t have to build a wall just in case that’s going to be somebody’s defense of how horrid America is. She made cultural remarks to defend herself from immigrants who still haven't adapted to the Canadian Culture. Her boss fired her because he or she is an idiot. She is right! If you want to live in a country, you must adapt to the customs and rules of that country. If you insist on behaving according to your original culture, you should catch your bags and go back to where you came from. I entered Canada as an immigrant and have always toed the line. Kudos to Kelly Pocha, for her courage to defend herself and the Canadian lifestyle.

There are many problems with anti-immigrant rhetoric and one of them is the classification who is and who isn't an immigrant and the question of when does a person stop becoming an immigrant and become a Canadian? A significant portion of people living in Canada are first/second/third generation Canadians and so, how do we classify these people, are they immigrants or are they not? And what of their parents/grandparents who immigrated, are they? It's very important to note that without their ancestor parents, all these first/second/third gen Canadians will not be here and they are now 'Canadians' today because we had pro-immigration laws. Also, the idea of accessing services is by itself, very problematic. I spent the first 4 years of my life here paying high tuition fees as well as tax that are used to subsidize fellow Canadians' tuition fees yet I'm not able to access any government services. Following graduation, I worked as a worker on visa where my tax was no less than an average Canadian yet government services were very much inaccessible to me. It was only after I became permanent resident, that somehow everything suddenly became available to me. I have been tax paying 6-7 years before I became a PR here yet all those years, I wasn't able to access a single thing yet somehow, after I became PR, I'm eligible for everything? The tax argument doesn't make sense at all. I will be eligible to apply for citizenship in like a year and does that mean now I am one of you, Canadians?

I'm sick of being invaded! Get the fuck out seriously! If only we could have a kind of Donald trump for the Canada! \n\nI never thought that i would say that one day but I'm a french canadian and I have a message to all my english canadians, we must to forget our differences for once because we are the REAL Canadians here and it's time to be unite against the real threat. As a older Canadian born and bred, but now in Europe because of marriage, I can see things farther toward the wall than most of you perhaps in Brandon, Thunder Bay, Charlottetown, Whitby, Kamloops, Red Deer, etc. This is extremely dangerous. A few muslims are o.k., as they may assimilate to Canadian values of 'PEACE, ORDER, and GOOD GOVERNMENT'. Yet most do not wish to assimilate, only to remain who they are, ungrateful of the bounty Canada offers them, and holding values against those our country has always promulgated. We have separation of church and state in Canada, and fought very hard for it, with a history of bloody wars in Europe to show for it. It is repulsive how we are allowing a bleeding of immigrants into our country who do not believe in our basic creed. This is not racial. This is not hate-based or prejudice. It is simply defending our creed as a country, from wherever you are, and whomever you are. Canada is worth defending. Where are the feminists on this? Why are you not defending Canada is this debate?

I don't see why Canadians must learn about slavery in that country. I mean, if 4% of the population is black and many of them are immigrants from the Caraïbe. What is the point? They live in Canada. Another thing, black Canadians are really sensitive for no reason. Compared to other countries in the Americas, they have it better. Maybe I can't understand what they are complaining about because I'm American but I see over sensitivity.
