A lot of ignorant and common sense comments. USA has created the horrible conditions in Latin America (By intervening in many many many ways). These people are not emigrating because they are seeking a higher standard of living; they want to get the basic necessities of life. “They have to do that chaos on their country to get their freedom.” This type of comments are beyond stupid and it just shows how uneducated you are. You can’t destroy someone’s house and then blame the habitants of it to look another place for living. And for the Latinos commenting “they need to come here the right way”, are you stupid!?

This shouldn't be necessary, I agree people should fight to make their own country better, and people do need to think about the socioeconomic reality of their own country when hosting immigrants as well.\n\nBut at the same time, it's kind of sad to see so many people not just worrying about it but literally hating people as if they were all dangerous criminals who come to kill you and steal your job, and not just loving fathers and mothers doing the same that a lot of your parents and grandparents did hundreds of years ago. Looking for a better future. But people love fighting and hating for flags and borders.\n\nLet's not forget that the whole modern America (the continent) was funded by immigrants and colonizers. And most people complaining are not exactly native Americans.

America seems to be on the verge of being dismantled economically, socially, and politically. I feel so sorry for them, I feel so sorry for America. Everything has become sorry. Everything is looking pretty bleak.

I totally get it, but they are looking for a better life. But they need to understand why America is the greatest country in the world. The problem with a lot of these people is that they would vote for the same policies in the same things that ruin their home country and they would vote for that here in America. If our country goes to ruins, there’s nowhere for anybody to run. They need to migrate here the legal way or no way at all. Most of them would work for five dollars a day that is going to drive the price of labor down.

i used to feel for these people i really did, then i started travelling to 3world countries and have learned that every misery they face in there is a result of their own culture/mindset and i started to have no mercy and today I am fully ‘MAGA and have no mercy for any of them. Sad reality is these people are better dressed and look more healthy than 90% of Us citizens. These are definitely not all people that are in fear for their lives. They clearly have had food and water and some kind of life. What about our citizens in violent cities? Especially the ones who have no food, shelter, family, nothing to keep them away from violent people... Where can an American go for asylum? Where can we find refuge from our corrupt politicians? From the mentally illand violent? Its even worse thinking that these people will get treated better than those who have fought for this country. Risking life and limb to protect freedom. I think freedom in America was always an illusion. We were always being manipulated and controlled. Its just before it was less in our face. They don't care to hide what they are doing anymore. They have been successful in making people zombies and slaves. They think nothing can stop them now. They see the finish line and they are running harder at it. Lest everyone wakes up and holds them accountable.

I've been looking for work for years, they have taken over whole towns where I'm from, Im from Long island you boneheads, I had to leave my home, family, everything! Not cool Americans have to leave America to live like a American!

America has fought HARD for centuries to achieve freedom. We’ve shed infinite amounts of blood for the rights we have. Freedom isn’t free. It takes centuries to get to that. People think it sucks to have to spend ten years becoming a legal citizen here, well count yourself lucky that you didn’t have to shed any blood, lose any family members, fight against an oppressive enemy for your rights, or lose your house in a battle for a free country. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look up American history. Count how many battles were fought; how many wars; how many people died; how many Americans became POW’s on our own land during the Civil War. Look how hard it’s been. Look how hard it is now. We never stop fighting for what we want. Freedom takes work. America isn’t some island paradise. It never has been. We all live on the same earth. We all experience hardship. And there’s no amount of money, illegal border crossing, or anything else that can keep us from that harsh reality. In life we’re going to suffer. That’s just how it is. Stop thinking that illegally crossing a border is somehow going to solve all problems. It won’t. The grass isn’t greener on the other side just because. Bloodshed makes that grass green: Sacrifice. Hard, laborious work; and centuries of time.

While driving to Alaska I picked up a crying ww who was stranded about 20 miles away from home. She seemed to be a nice lady until we went over a hill and was immediately passed by a police officer going in the opposite direction. He looked at me (in a new white firebird) then at her and put on his lights. I warned her the police will turn around and stop us because he saw her. She didn’t believe me so I instructed her to simply observe. We both looked at the speedometer, 61! He turned around and came up behind us. I pulled over and he walked to the drivers window and asked HER if she was ok? She stated yes. He rudely asked for my license and registration and stating I was doing 70 in a 60. She attempted to defend me but he ordered her to be quiet. Her mouth dropped. I informed him I was at 60 but didn’t know the road would drop. He wrote me a ticket. I scribbled my name, he tore the ticket off the pad and threw it in the car. Asked her if she’s sure she was ok? She said yes and he walked away. She was clearly saddened and offered me dinner once she got home. She kept apologizing and I stated we live this way everyday and I’m use to it. Thanks for the offer but I’m on my way to work. At least he didn’t take my car. She started crying. I informed her she didn’t do it so not to worry, just learn from the experience. I left Canada and later was notified at my address in California I had a warrant for an unpaid speeding ticket, then later notified I was banned from Canada for carrying an illegal firearm. I imagined what could’ve happened if I was alone. Stay out of Canada! The system seems to be the same as America.

I'm FBA and I grew up in Toronto from the 60's until today and I can testify to what this sister is saying! In addition, over the years there are very few black Canadians from the Underground Railroad or decendants of slavery in Canada still in Ontario area and more black immigrants from the Caribbean and African Diaspora that walk off the boat with disdain for FBA! Canada competes on the same education level/worker skill level as America. America has lower taxes, more financing, and a broader worker base. Unless Canada can compete with cheaper energy to make up for it's lack in those other areas, Canada fails.\n\nWhen Trump renegotiated NAFTA there is now less incentive for companies to locate in Canada when they can build in Mexico or America.\n\nCanada should be focusing on primary resource extraction and secondary resource refining. Canada could enhance this by building out hydro for cheap electricity that meets green industry standards. Canada has been failing at this.\nRecently Germany and Japan came to Canada looking for energy deals. This would require East/West pipelines. America shot this down, they straight told Germany and Japan to stay out of their Canadian Colony. And Canada, Germany, and Japan agreed.
