I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's!  This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great.  Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly.  The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them.  The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle.  After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington.  Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces.  After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other.  Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states.  I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

What, did he think he would be given a free ride? Does he actually think immigrating to a new country wasn't going to cost him anything? How many years did he live in the US? And now, in Canada for the last 10+ months, yet he can't speak a fucking word of English? \n\nNow he complains that the process is taking too long, yet, had he immigrated legally (as he should have), it would have taken FAR longer and would have to spend that time inside his home country...\n\nI really don't get his attitude, he feels as though he's entitled to immigrate to the US, even though he made absolutely no effort in doing so legally, made absolutely no effort into learning the most widely spoken language on Earth, so he became a criminal by illegally crossing the border and living in the US for years... Then, when he's about to get busted and deported back to his home country, he pulls the exact same thing, illegally crosses the border into Canada, taking the money he's stolen from the US with him, while STILL unable to speak either official languages in Canada where speaking Spanish is about as useful as a condom in a lesbian orgy, nor making any effort into actually learning said languages, and tries to claim refugee status? Refugee status for what? He's not fleeing any war or conflict, the only thing he's fleeing is deportation to his home country from the US because he crossed the border into the US and lived there ILLEGALLY, he's a fucking criminal... And yet, he STILL feels he's entitled to cross the border into Canada and thinks they'll welcome him with open arms...\n\nWhere do these people get the idea that they have the RIGHT to just enter whatever country they wish without having to go through the immigration process? These processes are there for a reason, we don't allow just anyone to immigrate here...\n\nImmigrating to the US is a PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT... Immigrating to Canada is a PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT... \n\nThe fact that this guy and his family have entered 2 countries ILLEGALLY and stayed within its borders ILLEGALLY for all this time, and in both cases, REFUSED to learn the language, and when he was about to be deported back, he fled and kept hiding from immigration officers... That makes him and his family CRIMINALS, and rightfully so... They should be found immediately, arrested and subsequently deported back to the US to face whatever charges, and then deported back to his home country... Period...

This is sad, however this man knew he was breaking the law when he brought himself and his family into the US illegally and then into Canada. It’s hard to feel sorry for someone who is trying to undermine policy and law. Many ppl in prison are separated from their families too, should we start releasing them because it’s sad to see families be apart?

There is still a lot of work to do, because there are too many black men and women who suffer from low self esteem and they believe the only way to cure such low self esteem is by inter marrying. What they fall to realize is that their kids will be black and they will undergo the same problems so why not stick to your race and fight the problem instead of running which doesn’t help. Anyway, peace to all my brothers and sisters out there. Let us continue to build by remaining positive. God made us who we are. No other race is better than us. Let us not even entertain such idea. This is the psychology that the enemy have used in the past to destroy the minds of our ancestors, but yet our ancestors were strong enough to produce generations. Today we don’t have the struggles of our ancestors, that means we should do even better.

I agree with this law. For safety reasons. I have a few muslim women friends including two females family members that are muslim and they dont cover their faces. They also agree with this law. we all have the right to see the face of whom is around us. I also know one woman that is not muslim but dresses and covers her face like one. Why she does that I and my neighbours dont know why. She does not talk to anyone about it and only dresses that way when she goes out of the neighbourhood. What are her intentions to do such thing? She is portuguese does not speak arabic only portuguese and broken inglish. When we ask her why she does that we are told to mind our business. We feel that it is our business because she is very strange and like i said before she only dresses that way when she goes out of the area that she lives in. What is she up too? And like her how many more is out there doing this and why? Whthout any offence to the muslim people SAFETY should come first to everyone.

In general, people are not given to searching very hard for the truth. Being sinners, we humans are concerned with what pleases us-------the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, as the Bible tells us. All this is sin, 'for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God' (Romans 3:23, New Testament). But islam so obviously uses religion to justify and cover up sin! Therefore those who are not brainwashed by it should be able to see through it, that it is a system of lies and oppression. \n\nIt is understandable when leaders of countries steeped in islam go along with it. But there is NO EXCUSE for leaders like Trudeau, who have NOT been brought up in it and yet support and promote it. They have no regard for truth, no respect for God, and do not care about the millions across the world who have been and are being victimized by islam.

steven harper is right if you do not want sharia then stand up against jihad , if you feel afraid think how we feel with you spouting Islam these young girls are either naive or stupid you will not have the freedoms you enjoy in the west once sharia is fully implemented perhaps they should spend time in Saudi or Indonesia . they feel trendy empowerment in the west against us but this is not the reality for Muslim women in truth they will become the abused and invisible 2nd class citizens in Islam and they wont like that . what they are doing is against democracy and free women you stupid stupid femenists

Justin Trudeau should learn from other countries mistakes regarding bringing in so many immigrants. It seems they do not want to assimilate into our culture but rather change our countries basic culture to suit their own. To me that means trying to take over our land and impose the laws of their land on us. Many hate us, and i for one am very leery of the ones unvetted. \\i do not want sharia law/ Canada will soon become an Islam country if we are not careful. They come to our country and refuse to accept our cultural beliefs one is that anyone covering their nose & mouth we see as a threat. Covering your face is done to hide your identity when committing a crime. That is our cultural belief, and they need to respect it.\nHow can I trust anyone wearing 'a rag top & face covering; and off topic even a hoodie. \n\nSorry, but in a free country we do have the rules that allow us to ban certain items of clothing worn on the street. Men & women are not allowed to wear a T-shirt, shoes, and as simple belt exposing mother nature's reproductive organs. Why? We are a free country after all. It is because that manner of dress offends the majority. Islam should STAY in the Middle East! It does NOT belong in the western world! They come here to take advantage of all the rights and freedoms that our ancestors have fought and died to give us! They will destroy our society! Are they tolerant or respectful of us? No! If we were to go there to their countries we'd be killed. If I had the power, I'd close all the boarders to them!

Maybe we could educate them with science or we could challenge Allah to a wagon pulling contest......hmmm his wagon isn't moving....guess he took a nap.
