I’m American and I love Canada, he is not our president, he is a terrorist and a dictator. I’m so sorry Canada. The American people are under attack and our allies are at risk too. I pray for the freedom of all people and I’m sorry.

I hate to see something like this take place, but the bullying behavior of the current administration make it unavoidable. The American people will be the losers. If I were thirty years younger, I'd be packing the Dodge and mapping the quickest route to Canada instead of writing this.

Me again. I too have something to say to the Americans who are struggling. Let me ask you all something. What does a country really need to keep it going? The answer is people. With no people working to keep a country going. Then you can't really call your country a country. Let me sadly tell you this ladies and gentlemen. The America you loved and worked hard to sustain, is gone, gone and replaced by your president and his followers. America is now Trump's America. He has change everything that made your America free, peaceful and safe. And when or not you get it back. All of you need to make a decision. If you feel like your safety, life and wellness of your family is in real danger. Then if you can get out of America. Go to a country that you believe will help you and keep you and your family safe and well. Always put your families safety and health first. But if you Don't have the money or a car go leave? Then let me say. Keep fighting and don't stop fighting until this low life criminal and traitor is removed from power. I am praying for all of you who are struggling. As an American, I am so jealous of Canadians. Your govt's got your back and you actually have people who can speak properly running your govts ? I liked Trudeau's speech and answers so much. He's being so honest

I'm doing ongoing research to cease any spend on any US product or service. I'm buying software from Europe, using Posteo for email, deGoogling this year and vastly reducing Youtube. I trace all groceries to eliminate anything US sourced and I now check that products are Mexican and Canadian as much as I'm able and they are supplying. I've stopped planning trips to LA and NYC, I might resume if American voters ever have the good sense to vote en masse against obviously fascist plans and personalities. I've holidayed in Mexico three times and would visit Canada and Europe in future. US is not safe for everyone any longer, not even its citizens and looks to be getting increasingly insecure and offering prosperity only to the already mega rich through crooked policies and agencies. Every week or two I double check the facts on groceries and online products/services to make sure I'm not accidentally buying American. The election was so compromised in November I'm glad people are realising the only action we can take is with our wallets from not logging in to 'big tech' to buying bread and apples etc.

Trump went against the trade deal that he made with Canada and Mexico when he renegotiated the existing deal during his first term. Trump called his deal with them beautiful and perfect. Trump does not keep the deals he makes to other countries or to the Americans who voted for him. \n\nTrump's final push in his campaign was to cut costs for Americans at the checkout, chuckling at the strange sound of the word 'groceries' to him. He has never worried about or dealt with buying groceries. The moment he got back into office, he said that lower prices wasn't happening and that the American people would suffer. \n\nThen he and Republicans began cuts in jobs and government services to Americans as well as others in the world, so that no one can trust Trump --- and in the case of others in the world, it reflects so bad on the U.S. and against any trust in the U.S. anymore. No president has ever done so much damage at home and abroad so quickly. \n\nTrump is the Deceiver and the Destroyer. Trump doesn't care if his voters figure it out. They are no longer needed.

I am an American and in firm support of the Canadian people, but definitely not Trudeau! Please recall not only his assault against the truckers a few years ago, but his desired seizure of GoFundMe monies that INDIVIDUALS sent to the truckers! I believe that German citizens are much better informed about the domestic political situation than American citizens. And what is happening in America should be deeply concerning to the American people. In our assessment, the American administration under Trump, Vance and Musk is transforming the USA into an authoritarian state run by American oligarchs in which there is no democracy, freedom of speech or freedom of expression, information controlled by the state, fake news, etc. America is in great danger domestically.

However, during his administration, Trump often shifted responsibility for problems rather than addressing them directly. Additionally, the tariffs he implemented had widespread negative effects, impacting people both domestically and globally for the benefit of his administration.
