It’s not about fentanyl. It’s not about the two or three people that across their borders. It’s all about his crazy idea that Canada should be the 51st state. And in his warped mind, he thinks by doing this, he’s going to ruin Canada, and that they’re gonna come begging on their hands and knees to be accepted into the United States and I am dead serious. This is what his goal is, and this is what he thinks he’s going to accomplish.

I was a trump supporter from the uk and thought he would be a good thing because of all the corruption and not caring about its people that was going on from biden . just like whats happening in the uk not giving a dam about its people from labour But i think trump has done some idiot things backing Russia like there hes best mate doing this to Canada. Dear dear people of Canada if any of you read any of these comments I want you to know that there are A LOT of us who are ABSOLUTELY NOT happy, about anything that this man\n who has been elected president, is doing. As I look at all the wonderful comments from Americans supporting Canada the tears are streaming down my face. Thank you! What I worry about is what is Trump up to?. \nWhy the decoupling from allies, not just Canada. Worse, why support Russia at the UN? Why take down your cyber defences? You say intelligent words right from the start and you deliver a strong message in a very strong manner, beginning with this: the US is declaring economic war on Canada, as well as strong arguments, and that fentanyl is just a pretext, which we all already know, that getting closer to Russia and cutting ties with its allies is Donald Trump's current course of action, and the fair question to ask is why is this man putting himself at the service of the Kremlin which is totally unnatural for an American.?

As a businessman, Trump was using Fentanyl crisis as a lame excuse. No matter how much fentanyl is controlled across borders he was still guaranteed in imposing the 25% trade tariff. \nCanada govt invested so much into the border security recently and visited multiple times in Washington to discuss this 25% trade tariff but all of them forgot that Trump is a very aggressive and stubborn when it comes to money!\n\nI am glad Trump has made Canada and even Trudeau bold and self dependent now!

It makes sense that you don't want this as you have been ripping us off for many years. All we want is free trade. What we have gotten is lopsided trade. FAFO. The USA has a strong leader now. We have plenty of options to fulfill our needs. A little bit of extra cost is worth it to bring our industry and jobs back here and rebalance our trade agreements. Canada was running a fentenyl superlab which manufactured enough to kill off its entire population two-fold! We don't want that trafficked through our border into the USA.
