I really like the way that he said about he's not going to sugar coat anything and he spoke so clearly to inform Americans what is truly going on with what Trump is doing to this country and Trudeau is telling people the truth just like the leader from North Korea. When you get leaders who barely rare give speeches then you know that they are not bull sh**ing about what they are talking about, but Trump is doing that and he's going to destroy people's lives in America and he's going to destroy America. Why would he turn a country (Canada) who's been there for America into an enemy and that's because he doesn't care about the country and they don't have what he wants and all he cares about is money and power, so know he just turned a country Canada into an enemy, WTF IS HE THINKING ABOUT CLEARLY NOT PEOPLE IN AMERICA!

All I can say as an American is that the giant majority of us do not want this at all. Donald does not speak for us and Canada and Mexico are our friends, especially in trade and culture. Our election system is so antiquated that tons of young people sat out and the swing states have all the power here. Plus, I don't think Mexico, Canada, France, Ukraine or any of you guys need to be apologetic, the US is what it is now

Well said. I love the USA, I have relatives who live there and in all the years of a beautiful relationship with the people of America I have never seen this situation. To all Canadian's, I did not vote for him and tried to convince others of how bad his was, but here we are. I love Canada. I have been to Canada several times and the people have been so warm and welcoming. It is beyond sad to see this happening. All these years US has a trade deficit of 1 trillion dollars every year. With tariffs we could have recovered 250 billion every year. That is a lot of money. Currently every American owes $110,000 because of the accumulated debt of 36.5 trillion.\n\nJustin, how long are we supposed to bend back wards while US has a trade deficit of trillion dollar over the past 20 years. Why cant to you balance the imports and exports so that you don't have to keep taking advantage of USA. CNN did not see the trade deficit every single year for 20 years? what are they talking about? Our news channels have just become political entities rather than looking for the greater good of the Americans. One is for Republicans and others for Democrats - ridiculous. \n\nCanada and Mexico are saying, please stop tariffs, it is going to hurt America. LOL. No it is not. If tariffs were there in 2024, US would have gotten back 15 billion dollar revenue from Canada and Mexico would have paid 46 billion to USA. All this time, this was affecting only Americans and while you are enjoying not paying for your share, you have made US pay by taking loans to pay for the imports increasing our Debt. Yes it has been hurting America for the past 20 years, otherwise how did we accumulate 36.5 trillion debt.\n\nLike Justin said, if Canada can survive while paying 15 billion to USA, of course USA will do fine while collecting the 15 billion from Canada and 46 billion form Mexico. Our present sitting president and buffoon unelected sidekick Musk are creating chaos everywhere for the sake of billionaire donors and supporters. This means your vote and opinions DO count. I know it is incredibly difficult to reach for and find answers in a world where your president or primary candidate throws 'fake news' in your face on a regular basis. He is actually telling the truth. When he is not telling you is that he is a primary enabler of 'fake news'. To him, only his word is law, only his opinion matters, only he deserves to be on top, and he deserves authority over all of your lives. Do the right thing, we all have a civil duty to understand our candidates to the very best of our ability. When a man has been convicted of dozens of felonies, and we tell you that this is only what we were willing to expose. You may want start believing us. The genuine facts of his past are unilaterally corrupting to our children and good people alike. Do not let the american people repeat their mistakes, force Mr. Trump to atone for his mistakes. No not empower him to sweep them under the rug for the sake of his own arrogance, because that is exactly what he is doing by trying to dismantle the CIA and FBI. These two institutions are shining examples of America's pursuit of freedom and justice. Freedom to keep billionaires from corrupting the morals of our children. Freedom to know that the rule of law is immutable, our constitution is not just a paper with fancy traditional sentiment. Even if the law may sometimes be bent for the sake of decency, forgiveness, and the pursuit of 'united we stand', our constitution cannot. Amendments require the FULL support of nearly all Americans, not 27.5% of unrestricted adults.

There is no economic war! A war is a war. The tarrifs is a fuse for an escalation, and this is likely what Trump plans. I wouldn't be surprised that the former suggested a partnership to Putin to militarely attack Canada, and the world, by the way. Lets think about this. One day, people from US may wake up with all your money in cripto money not belonging to US anymore. No need to be a psychic or prophet to see this coming.

I can't bealive how dumb US liberals are, US literally has one of the highest reserve of oil and natural gas, US used to sell oil to Japan, India and many other countries when trump was last time in office but Biden distroyed that by banning the drill. 70% of import from canda to US is oil and natural gas which they don't need they just have to switch on those machines again which they already did and in few weeks they will not just ful fill their own need bul aslo start selling gas to Japan and India as trump promised in last meeting with them, and rest 20% import from Canda is electricity, they used to busy that electricity just to bypass the Paris climate aggrement of having green electricity, biden insted of building green electricity industry he choosed to buy those from Canada and last rest 10% left which is $15billion for economy like US this much money is peanuts and 30% tarrife on that will have nearly no impact.

Hey Canada/Trudeau if you don’t want the tariffs from President Trump then remove your limiting factors on American goods to equal the playing field! Maybe these tariffs and our President may finally get you to allow into Canada as much as we do into the USA! Trying to play a game of tariff against President Trump will not do Canadians any good. The US gives $200 billion yearly to Canada. U.S. banks are not allowed to do business in Canada, but yet we allow their banks in the US...by the way LOOK IT UP. I support Trump and I support MAGA. However a president needs to keep his word and Trump appears to have broken his word here. He asked Canada to reign in illegal immigration to the US and Canada complied. He said do something about fetanyl and Canada did. Trump said the tariff's were because Canada was not acting on these but now they have and we imposed the tariff's anyway. I'm an American and support the actions Canadians are taking to secure the border between Canada and the United States. The vast majority of the policies restricting housing supply and increasing costs of new housing, like development charges on new homes to fund infrastructure instead of taxing existing property owners, onerous and restrictive zoning regulations, and slow and expensive permitting processes all come from the cities. Honestly, for many city politicians it is to their advantage to make the crisis worse. Why wouldn’t a city councillor vote to raise development charges on building new homes instead of raising property taxes on existing homes to pay for stuff like replacing life expired sewer and road and subway infrastructure!? His constituents aren’t going to care about the costs of new homes, which affect people moving to the city or younger generations, which are either not yet residents of the city or too young to vote.

Canada, America and Russia have the most resources independently from each other then any other countries in the world.
