That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse. Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously. So today we issue another warning. From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke — right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America: This is our last chance. Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator. And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided. So what do we do about it? I know I’m preaching to the choir here. I have lived in Canada for almost 50 years.. The United States of America has been our closest neighbour and friend ever since I came here.. \nLong before I came here Canada and the US were partners… \nWe relied on each other, we supported each other and we profited from each other..\nLet me make it perfectly clear I consider myself Canadian and I love the Americans like they were my own brothers and sisters.. \nAlso let it be known that our government does not speak for the citizens of this country… \nWe are being forced by the government to follow the rules. We (most of the American people) don't want this, either! I call and write to my two Senators and my Congresswoman at least four times a week. I support Canada's reaction to our ridiculous President's actions. I don't think all the Republican leadership supports this, but they are weak and scared of Trump.

Unfortunately, we listen to are government. He should be talking to the state and the president not directly to the American people. Public opinion will no less still be on the side of the American president.

Imagine voting for Trump over inflation while he was saying he would use tariffs and people thinking it wouldn't affect them. So naive.
