GOD BLESS CANADA, LONG LIVE CANADA. I am a student immigrant who had a choice between US and Canada. I chose Canada, and I have never regretted my choice. The people might not know this but Canada is an amazing country. People have no idea how Canadians have built a fantastic country in some of the toughest conditions. Canadians are some of the most polite, helpful and kind people.

I’m not particularly a savvy political person, but even I could see this coming. Trump/Musk have chosen to start a war against our own people & isolating us from allies & neighbors is a particularly bad move. Who will defend us against Russian aggression when we have no allies & friends left. And make no mistake-this fits right into Putin’s plans. If The US is no longer able to stand against him, who will? It has been a balance of power that has kept democracy flourishing and given Americans so much freedom & prosperity. Trump/Musk are nothing but greedy fools who will end up destroying our country. ???

Starting this trade war is not only the craziest political decision I have seen in my entire life, it destroys the relationship between the US and its closest allies on purpose. A relation that has been built over decades. People and businesses on both sides of the pond will suffer badly from this idiotic agenda for no real reason. Hello from Germany We have very good political programs on television here. “Markus Lanz” is currently running. I believe that German citizens are much better informed about the domestic political situation than American citizens. And what is happening in America should be deeply concerning to the American people. In our assessment, the American administration under Trump, Vance and Musk is transforming the USA into an authoritarian state run by American oligarchs in which there is no democracy, freedom of speech or freedom of expression, information controlled by the state, fake news, etc. America is in great danger domestically.

On the note of minerals, I would love to know, just how much of its mineral wealth and 'sovereign' land does Ukraine have to forfeit to satisfy the US and Russia... Probably all of it. Who said everything is politics, because this difinitively is purely a business transaction. The US only need to protect their freebie, whilst Russia bites another chunk out of the country.. US needs fentanyl to keep the population happy, it’s inevitable. If it can’t be imported then they have to produce it within. Same goes for India-Bangladesh-Myanmar border, China-Thailand border, Afghanistan-Russia border etc. The weaker country always take up the supplier role, it’s not politics but economics.
