What that DR came to do in ?? Canada left me scratching my head. He says he did that for the sake of the children, he himself is a Dr and his parents did not imigrate for his sake to become a Dr. He has sacrificed a good life in Nigeria, if it was for furthering his education i would understand then he goes back home but this for the sake of the children has wrecked many lives in Nigeria and the wives or the women this men are married to are responsible for this vanity of living in the west. I bet the whole idea of relocating was his wifes and the reason is the sake of the children ?

He's a Nigerian doctor. Canada is not a place where foreign doctors thrive. But he can go be a nurse or do something else and be fine. Alternatively he can choose to move to the US or apply their medical residency. Like he said, he's giving his children a better life which he probably couldn't give them in Nigeria. Many immigrants find the first few years difficult because of the job ethics. The job ethics here in Canada is quite different from Nigerian with a laidback background. In Canada you work for every cent and it has really worked for them and some of us. I have employed so many Africans especially Nigerians who thought I am mean because they have to work for every penny. You are not paid to come and have a chitchat at work or spend 5 hours on something that could take you 3 hours to do. I will say if you can't change your work ethics and try to integrate into the Canadian system please stay back in your country. I have also seen people who have been clouded with that high life they lived back home and find it difficult to Start at the bottom. Even if you are living a good life in Nigeria, Canada is a better place to live if you can unlearn some things and relearn other things.\nAnd is there systemic racism? The answer is YES. If our leaders treat us right, 80 percent of our people won't leave their country. Let's hold our government responsible not the north American government or their people.

The biggest mistake people are making is saying they left Nigeria because of their children. Who told you that children that grew up in Nigeria cannot be great multi millionaire back in Nigeria were Born and brought up in Nigeria all you need to do is send your children to good schools.

I like the fact that the working time in CANADA is staggered and people know their daily working schedule. This is the reason why these countries are successful. If people in back home in Nigeria understand that the work place is not a mini bar things might be a lot better. I am happy he has integrated into the system despite the systemic discrimination.

I'm from Nigeria as well. This man is absolutely correct. I came to Canada early 2000s. When I was ten or eleven years old. It's very tough here. There's no free healthcare back home so I move to Canada to get my treatment. I wish there's free healthcare back home. What the hell I'm I doing in Canada. It's just the free healthcare that I'm here.

Its funny how in the same Nigeria that people are complaining, some people are living large. Many people are living pay check to paycheck in canada too whereas many are living large. Wherever you are put in the hard work and with God's blessings you will make it.
