I, as an American, do not agree or want this. Our government is out of control!

I love my country but I absolutely don’t agree with this administration or this president. He is trying to destroy America just like Russia wants him and musk he won’t suffer we the people will suffer. He must like watching American people suffer. ?

I agree with him ?% BUT the biggest problem is that Trump doesn't care about non-rich Americans.

As an American, I am embarrassed on what our government is doing. I completely agree with Canada. \n\nOur government has proven that it doesn’t care about its citizens.

I voted for Trump, but it's hard not to agree with Trudeau on this even though I find this guy to be extremely unpleasant. There's no reason to start trade wars all over the world and in particular with our neighbors. It's one thing to threaten tariffs and a very different thing to actually apply them. If you do it has to be accompanied by a lot of diplomacy so that the other country is not overreacting, but Trump has been super combative prompting our neighbors to respond in kind to save face. While past deals may not have been great for US, this is not the way to handle our differences. Billionaires like Trump and his friends will be fine, but the majority of ordinary folks in the US and Canada will suffer. Very dumb, indeed.

It irritates me that Trump attacks canada for fentanyl and illegal immigration when its the other boarder that is the vast majority supplier. Trump has not given a resoanble or justifiable reason for these tarrifs in my mind. Its a shame as some of Trumps ideas and plans I agree with but so far the vast majority of his action has not been. I have been visiting canada frequently for my outings, if I go oit for dinner or entertainment ive been making a 1 hr drive to do so, vs a 45 minute drive to seattle. I will continue to soend every leisure dollar in canada untill this tarrif trade war is corrected.

I am from Europe and I hope our leaders will have the same courage and stand to the bullies. American people, I know at least half of you dont agree with what is happening and I do hope you will do your part as we dont want to be enemies but friends.

As a Korean, I stand for Canada and Mexico. Mr.Trump is messing up USA badly and treating USA alliances as an enemy. Through the trade war Mr.Trump started, many USA citizens will suffer economically and crash other economic market for the rest of world. I totally agree with Prime minister Trudeau.

I'm an American citizen, but I definitely agree with Canada I'm more on peace, i stand for Canada. I fight for my fellow Americans who will suffer for this. I'm American, but I did not vote for him.

I completely agree with what trump did. He’s doing an amazing job! Funny that Trudeau is trying to put forth the same false narratives as our Democratic Party does. Im Canadian....not that I agree with the tariffs, but this POS Trudeau has shut down government the last 2 months. Nothing is getting done. He has time to fly to Ukraine but no time to sit down and hammer out a deal with the USA. He has caused all the issues Trump has complained about. He has destroyed our country from within. He is the worst neighbor a country can ask for. Weak leadership. Porous unsecure border. Weakest military of any first world nation. And a disciple of China. He is ALL OUR ENEMY!

Mr trump has always dreamed of being a dictator Never have I been so disgusted in my life. I, did, not vote for this person that I hate with all my being. I hope someone fixes this before I die of being sick of him! He is not only against most of the world, he is also against the people that he is supposed to protect!

Trudeau resigned as prime minister because he was deeply unpopular in Canada. He proceeded to suspend parliament while President Trump threatened these Tariffs and then immediately left to Europe to posture with European leaders. He did absolutely nothing to strengthen the US/Canadian relationship while his party set about appointing (not electing) a new leader. Trudeau is an actor and a hypocrit. Do not believe anything he says. Now I don't agree with President Trump's tariffs on American allies like Canada. I don't understand the metrics he's using to justify them. Maybe there is a real reason, but this fool that you're listening to has not represented Canada faithfully and I reject everything he says.

I support Trump and much of what he is doing, but I do agree Canada has done well enough to the point these tariffs should not have gone through. I was fully expecting this not to go through or at the very least be much smaller.

So being canadian means being white only ? All the Europeans that split tithe USA and some in canada because of their disagreements, that may be the culture of the first settlers yes. Times have changed an racist people better get use to changes. The whole earth does not belong to any one color. The Jesuse whites clin to love and worship is Jewish , yeah remember that. I l8ve mix cultures, my family is very mixed. It is possible to coexist together in love and respect and unity. Respect all faith but also respect the founding rules of the country. I personally do not agree with somethings cultural habits like child marriage etc or Muslim laws for women etc. Thank God for Canadian laws for all people. It's normal for people to bond together in the community and they all seem to feel more comfortable living ner their own ethic people. While I agree as we have the same problems with illegal Venezuelans. I am sure they are legal permanent residents. They are hard working people who are building Canada. Canada needed the skill sets and they took advantage of this. From the video -Who are the drug addicts? Who don't have housing? Canadians didn't want to study nor work and are paying the price.

I couldn't agree more I thought I was in Canada lol...this is it because of all the immigrant that got 1000000 placed in nav Canada Cornwall Ontario. Hour dump is already full and they have to drive 40 minutes to bring them somewhere else. Everywhere you look they is one of them. If you also look at the police blog, we'll most of the time it's them so not feeling very safe anymore. I want my country back it is mine to live in and safely so sad

As a ??ian I TOTALLY agree with you! The ONLY reason our leading 'party' is attempting ANYthjng with securing the border is because Trump is making him! (SAVE for Alberta that is) Our premiere Danielle Smith used his tariff(s) warning to the positive and IMMEDIATELY put $$ into securing OUR border. The length we share between Alberta ad Washington and Montana!

I know everyone is not going to agree with this, but I just want to be rational. Do you realize Mexico can't own a gun but the cartels are heavenly armed even more so than the military. And yes, fast and furious we knew this., why don't we? Arm the surveillance and teach them how to fight. Maybe they can stand up for themselves just like the people in Ukraine. That was another country where you couldn't have a firearms, but they handed out AK-47s like toothpicks to 90-year-old women and the rest of their population and they had to teach them how to shoot them.
