I am a newfoundlander known across the country as a NEWFIE. You ask would i give up by birthplace to move to the USA? I wouldn't consider moving to anywhere in Canada let alone move to the USA. We have health insurance which is taken care of by government, we have Dental care that's taken care of by government we have Starbucks, Tim Horton's, and all the other goodies you mentioned here or you think are goodies. We have very nice people and everyone is willing to help and not stab the neighbour in the back. We have some of the best that nature has to offer. Move? Not bloody likely.

I’ve been waiting for my husbands marriage visa for 14 months freezing the legal visa processes for Colombians who are married to a U.S. disabled veteran citizen born and raised in the Midwest is wrong. I pray the President restarts processing legal visas for this married to U.S. citizens \nI am not able to walk well and my only caregiver is my husband so I’m stuck in colombia until my husbands visa is approved. I’m from a south Asian country Living in Canada. I have never found Canadians to be racist towards me or my family. We respect Canadian culture and heritage and we blend in well. Our kids are Canadians. They are not sound Asians. I don’t brain wash them to think any other country is grater than Canada. They have strong Canadian values and will be devastated if someone ever discriminates against them. Unfortunately, have to agree with the fact that some Indians have exploited the visa process and made it a mess for the remaining well intentioned legal residents. Lack of proper manners, over staying, misusing the privilege, list goes on. Please understand: we need to follow rules. We are a law abiding country. As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. I do not mean to disrespect the many decent Indian people I’m just telling the truth. As a culture your presence outside of India is negative because of the way so many Indians act, trying to create India wherever they go. And they have the cheek to say this is ok because they got colonised. WELL SO DID WE! That is the truth.

I don't understand why India has to be so reliant on foreign countries. Especially with so many young and talented kids joining the workforce. Indians are smart people, and are bright and talented, and should focus on making work/life conditions better in their own country and focus on the growth of their own country. It's not like we lack intelligence, or culture, or values. I don't like this constant feeling of rejection if visa gets denied to move to a foreign country. Oh we can quadruple our income in a foreign country and send money home. Make changes in India to facilitate that, and not have to feel reliant on a foreign country to make that happen. It's time to make other countries want to come to India for a better future..

She conveniently missed mentioning the real reasons why visa applications of Indians get rejected -\n1) Thousands of Indians go on tourists visas only to 'disappear' and never return. It doesn't just happen in Canada, US, UK, Aus but also welcoming countries like Thailand, UAE.\n2) Indian Visa (to visit India) itself is one of the most expensive and complicated to get for foreigners, so other countries have no incentive to make it easier for Indian citizens.\n3) Developed countries know that if they make it 'easier' for Indians to travel to their country, they will end up with tens of thousands who wont want to go back to India. It is already the case when its difficult to get a visa, imagine the situation if its made easier.\n4) Most of the Indian tourists fall under the mass category, they are not like the heavy spending Chinese tourists. We are not the most well behaved, so till we start getting more affluent, we wont be in as much demand.

The problem is that when they ask for a tourit visa, they stay and want to work. Europeans and Americans as well as people ftom the rich Ara nations go to Infia as a tourist and then go back to their country. Thailand and Vietnam allow more Indians be ause Indians do not want to work there. We are right. We must not give visas unless we need the person. India should fo the same.

They don't even follow road rule. Look at Bronco hockey team got killed by one of those so called driver. Our roads are more dangerous than before. Class 1 driver for sale from those particular group instead of really learn to become a real driver. Those people make our country weak and become disorder by their corruption and we simply have to accept for their demand? The problem with the way things have become here is that now people that have immigrated legally to Canada and are citizens are now becoming targets of hate and violence. I agree that once the visa is expired people need to go and honor what they signed for. We are also punishing those people who have done nothing wrong. This is really scary to see in our country. Hold government accountable for what they have done and ourselves accountable for who we elect and how we treat other human beings. We are all humans no matter skin color or where we are born so be kind to each other. Yes they need to follow the rules we have but we also need not be hate filled and violent, that is not what a Canadian is.

As an American I had great love for Indians while growing up together in school. After we graduated I even travelled twice to India ( Pune, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai) for vacations.\nHowever, my experience in India was unbelievable. \nAs a young American at that time I never believed Indians could have such horrible characters even when my parents and close friends had told me about it earlier.\nAfter my experience in India I decided to pay closer attention to any Indian I came across in the US, and surprisingly i discovered Indians are not only very corny by nature but are also very self centered, greedy and selfish kinds of humans. Although not all Indians, but 8 out of 10% naturally have this character which is disgusting indeed.\nFor a long time most people never noticed that about Indians because they pretend to be quiet and mostly gentle. However behind an Indian soft and gentle appearance lays very corny, crooked, self centered, and double standard fellows.\nAnyone who doubts my observations should also make the research by themselves.\nYes, they are good bad and ugly people in every race and country, but Indians are clearly out of the context as their double standard and corny life styles of extreme pretence are undiscovered danger to any society.
