Truth is that the immigration system has been a source of income and financial gain for the system but gives little back. Sadly many Canadians think the opposite is true. They think because refugees are given shelter while waiting for processing that means they receive support more than the locals. Truth is immigrants come here mostly on loans, spend years working and spending to support families back home, it takes years to understand the taxing, credit, wealth, education and many other resources that drives the Canadian community. There is no guaranty that you will get a job after getting degree - you will still have an accent and you will still lack this cousin who will get you in the company. In Canada if I don't want to stand during the playing of the national anthem no problem I don't have to. If you do that in the United States someone will address you and not in a favorable way. I also find their patriotism blinds many Americans to the truth about their country (i.e. many American truly have no idea how they compare to the rest of the world in many areas).\n\nLastly their infrastructure is terrible. Their infrastructure is first class if you are a driving a car, but in many places you aren't getting anywhere without that car. Is that such an added expense to have to own a car. This is the same problem in Canada, but from having lived in Europe and Asia I miss good transit systems.

When I came to America i never realized that people are living in apartments in upto 24th floors high rise building and we suffered with culture and their accent and everything. Even there is secondary clothes here stores here here that all white and black Asian...goes to. We told free clothes, sofas.... but nothing. You work hard they take it back living paychecks to paychecks. The system pushed you to get even in debt. I've been put out of Mississauga because I can't afford it anymore...this video speaks my truth, even if it is hard to admit. Min wage really has to increase a lot, I used to be able to afford everything alone with one job, but not anymore. Or even if education was not so expensive one can upskill or educate for a new career but its just another investment thats too expensive to afford. Desperately trying to figure out where to live that is not the middle of nowhere, so hard to find that balance between comfort and affordability.

I live in Canada and the truth is ,working minimum wage jobs won’t make you rich unless you work 2 or 3 full time minimum wage jobs. Without the necessary skills and education you will struggle to get professional jobs that pay better. Canadian employers value Canadian education and Canadian work experience. It’s hard to get professional jobs . without that. A visitor visa does not allow you to work in Canada. Agents will give you visitors visa and leave you to hang dry without work permit.

The truth is, it's too expensive to do business in Canada and we're not making use of the incredible talent we have here (largely due to the government). It has some of the most exspensive housing in the world. Canada & Australia's economy is based on economic growth through mass immigration. While your a debt slave, you don't spend your money on foreign products, as you have very little in the way of exsports, to pay for imports. Mental health issues are largly created by society, they are very rarely genetic. The high cost of living, means, you cant afford families. No strong family ties means, poor mental health issues. You are 100% honest and telling the truth. \nI advised two persons I know holding visitors visa that it may not be as easy as they think to switch their status when they arrive, they called me a bad person that I didn’t want them to come to Canada. \n\nThere is also the risk deportation or missing your chance of ever getting visa again if they make that move of going to immigration inside Canada for changing of status when you told them from the beginning that you just want to come on holiday and return.

The truth is that Canada depends heavily on imigrants of all kinds, and many people who have benn in Canada for longer periods of time are willing to exploit newcomers from their home countries.\n\nWith no economic vision, and no investments in innovation, the only real economic strategy that Canada has is to sell natural resources, and attract immigrants who bring money from overseas.

The truth is that it is easier for younger folks to integrate than Older folks..reason I encourage younger people to immigrate, you have enough time and patience to understand the system and integrate properly and also at this age you have little or nothing to miss back home. I am forever grateful to Canada and God, I have achieved alot in just a short time. Also I believe the interviewer will have a different story as regards the financial aspect after he becomes qualified doctor in canada. I dont believe you are better off in Nigeria as a Doctor compare to Canada both financially, mentally and socially

Thanks paaji for telling the actual truth and reality, but still few people will say that when u r returning back . Not everyone will understand the actual conditions and hard work is there to earn each and every dollar.
