The problem is not with immigration but not having balanced immigration because you know there's huge corruption in the system when high percentage of immigrants are cheap labour with international students and temp foreign workers program from mostly India. \n\nIt's disgusting that it's displacing Canadians and having blatant discrimination by hiring only Indians at almost every corner. These businesses and the government need to be taken to court for enabling such racist discrimination against Canadians.

Mexico should not let the migration to United States if they treat United States as business partner. They'll keep doing that until there's a massive market correction and everyone in Canada loses their shirt. The problem I see it that Palestinians aren’t mistakenly considered a nationality or ethnicity. They are not. Palestinians aren’t ethnicity or nationality. Palestinian is historical and geographical term that being used to describe people who live in that nonexistent Palestine. Those people majority are Arabs. All they have in common is is a similar religion and language that might be similar or the same however that’s doesn’t make them related to Arabs who live i for example in Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates. Palestinians most likely descendants of the Mamluks, Egyptian Arabs and descendants of Turks and Iranians.

The problem of Canada is not migration or international students. International students bring millions of dollars to the country. They pay fees 3 times higher than local students. The problem is the economy, provinces, municipalities, private sector and professional newcomers are unable to build houses, apartments and provide services for more than 1 million of newcomers per year. The economy is completely closed to international companies, engineers, doctors. There are big monopolies who regulate and rule the market in association with a WOKE socialist government. This is why Canada doesn’t grow and isn’t able to provide services. It’s more like a third world country , banana republic or failed state.

I am an international student myself and I agree with all your points in the video, Canada used immigration to fix a deeper problem and that is its difficulty to incentivize the economy by having a heavily regulated environment, high taxes and low productivity. It will definitely alleviate some of the pressure on the system but, the real cause is still there. The first sector that is going to be affected will be the education as colleges and universities became over reliant with the revenue coming from Int. Students (which is not particularly small) and institution will need to adapt. When I first came here I fell in love with the country and I really feel fortunate to enjoy this beautiful place and doing everything to assimilate and integrate myself into the culture. I think here you can have a sense of hope of things improving in the future (something that is not the case in my home country) but if they do not fix the underlying problem it does not matter how much immigration they reduce, Canadians will not see a significant improvement. I have ethnic background from Hong Kong and have been living in Canada for almost 40 years. I love Canada and am proud of this beautiful country. However, I think part of the immigration problem we have is the ongoing issue of allowing dual citizenship of everyone who have become a Canadian citizen. I have personally known lots of HK immigrants who would return to their own countries to work as soon as they have got their Canadian passports. Normally one of the parents would stay with their children here for free schooling, medical care and child tax benefits. Their children will follow their parents to go back to HK after they graduated from universities in order to avoid the higher income tax . Unfortunately, those parents will come back to retire in Canada so that they can get free health care benefits and OAS once they have fulfilled the residency requirement of 10 years. Canada do need more skilled and educated immigrants to make our country more prosperous but not those who try to take advantage of our lenient immigration policies. I think we should take back the passports of those who have left Canada for more than 2 years or those who have evaded taxes so that we do not continue to support those never contributed to our country. PS, I mentioned about HK only because of my origin and I believe the same problem would be caused by immigrants from other countries too.

Family helps each other out, those Indians would do anything to keep a family member from living in the streets. This would put their family in shame in their community. Canadians have something to learn from the Indians. By the way their religion disapproves of alcohol & drugs so they don’t have that problem. The problem is ability to buy a house. Without owning a house, inflation and cost of living becomes unbearable for families. Most people coming to Canada have strong family values, so when sticking to those values become unaffordable, people leave. Even those immigrants who are earning in six figures do not see the possibility of owning a house. Seems to me that the definition of the problem is not clear. What is the problem that we are trying to solve? Clearly, if there are 11 million persons here illegally then there is an immigration problem. What can be done to prevent the number of illegal immigrants to grow? Deportations or mass deportations deals with those individuals that are actually here but does not address the root cause of the problem. The has to be some deportations... but those already exist and already take place. Seems to me that mass deportations is like going on a crash diet for a short time without really changing fundamental habits. The result is weight comes off in the short term but generally returns. I applied and finally received notice that I can move to Canada as a permanent resident. As an Indian immigrant myself.. I hate to see what has become of Small towns and cities Specially Brampton becoming a menace. People should be allowed to keep their traditions but not at the cost of local values and laws… and I really wonder what law enforcement is at play when people are driving like crazy… \nPlazas and strip malls turning in to a complete mess in the evening … these were never a problem before… now the quality of immigrants have gone down. Coz Mr. Trudeau values quantity over quality…

The fact that we have so many people in the US undocumented and living here for decades tells us that our legal process is not sufficient for allowing people to come legally. Having that many people tells us we need to treat this as a policy problem, not an individual-making-bad-choices problem. And spending billions of dollars on border patrol tactics that still allow for so many illegap immigrants tell us that our resources are grossly misspent. Plus we treat legal asylum seekers as if they were illegal (depriving people of food, keeping them from crossing in the first place) so people will choose whatever method will get them here. People can be here legally for well over a decade before getting a green card and then even longer to get citizenship.

CNN as usual trying to lie!!! We’re all this numbers coming from??? What is the problem to deport all this people??? If Biden - Harris administration managed to bring 20 million people for 3 years, why Trump can’t do the same opposite??? We do not need detention centers!!! We need to speed up the process!!! Bring them to the border and let them cross back to we’re they came from!!! No bus, no train, no plane!!!

Problems of other countries we are not responsible. Canada cant even solve the opiates problem in most major cities in the country. And yet, to solve these problems canada is actually asking for more problems. Does that make sense?
