I’m not Indian National however I feel proud that this nation has build ‘herself’ as the 5th largest global economy and if some of the following ways are adapted by Indian Gov, the Indian passport will be saluted.\n1) Make your currency strong as in Raja Ranjeet Singh’s time 1 Indian puree was ten (£10) British Pounds, today it’s 100 Rupee to £1.\n2) Need to hold educational tests for everyone going abroad with a minimum level of English language.\n3) Emphasis on etiquettes and local Knowledge of the country where the traveller wants to visit.\n4) Stop all of illegal immigration via people smuggling agents as this gives a bad name to the country.\n5) Set a minimum benchmark amount of funds required before applying for an overseas visa.\n6) Make it mandatory for all travellers to have a full fare return ticket (12 months validity) on them at all times to show strong ties to return back home after trip.\n7) Create strong religious tolerance and harmony within the country so the world can see no religious discrimination being reported on international media worldwide.\n8) The Indian embassies all around the world should be aware and weary of each Indian national traveling abroad in real time so they f any help is require they can assist 24/7 without failure.\nThese are some of my points and opinions for a better India.\nI hope the people who read above will not be offended by any of my opinions as this is not my intention and I am well wisher and want to see this nation thrive, always.\nGood luck and all the best…

For Schengen visa, besides submitting all documents our parent's visa was rejected. I doubt it is a money making process for them. And I wonder why didn't they refund the money (at least some part)they received as fees since it is rejected and no forum for us to question this..

I went to NZ for a holiday a year ago. Honestly, the Kiwis don't like Indian at all. I live in Canada. A citizen now, love this country but India is and will always be a home. Canada is facing hard times currently, which is being faced by every country now and then but even the cause root of all these problems Canada is facing right now is coming from somehow from India. The most disruptive and disturbing people are here from India only with no civic sense. They come here and do not value the Canadian culture at all. They do all sort of illegal activities and try to do jugaad in everything, from which we escaped from India. Even on political grounds, the man who somehow messed up everything was under the influence and pressure of the man having Indian roots. I love India without a doubt but we can’t deny the real facts why Indians are being hated everywhere. People in my community here ( whites, First Nations, old Indians) love me and my family because they know how we respect the culture and values and laws of Canada. But there, where people don’t know us personally, we get judgemental eyes because of our colour and we know why, it’s not all of us, but still majority of us have destroyed the image of India and yes Indians deserve to be banned now. We need skills and knowledge and we should class apart from the stupid ones.

nah these comments r wild. I’m not Sikh but know that’s their “knife” is actually a kirpan. No the cop was not right! I understand if someone was just carrying a knife around, however , this is religious. As a Canadian we are NOT the friendliest I have been in USA and I’ve met more nicer people here than in Canada.\nIn Canada there’s this “we are better than Americans” or “at least we aren’t American”.\nBut, really no Canadian has ever talked to me in the line at Safeway to ask how my day is going or a waitress hug me at ihop (that was odd I’ll give you that) but never in Canada have I had people genuinely be nice.\nThat whole “Americans” are rude is a lie that Canadians tell ourselves.

Yes I was, after Trump got elected no. Disabled human rights are horrible here and as compensation for lawsuits can be capped in cases that is unlikely to change. I should state the government had to pay me $25,000 dollars for violating my rights (this cost me $35,000+ in legal fees!) so I know of what I speak. It was the same when I moved provinces. In terms of mobility my fate was better in the 4 third world countries I visited after my stroke, there are no busses in loads of places here as we can’t “afford” them. Also I should state the government tried to make me site an NDA that would not allow me to state their behaviour, this should be illegal where government money is concerned! On to health care…. Why do disabled people struggle to get a family doctor when they move provinces? Also why did the mother of a Ukrainian disabled kid have to go back to a country that had been invaded to get help for her child that was having convulsions? She got no help here and her child was in our system by then and her husband has been paying taxes since I got him a job here 3 day a after landing. Yes there are a lot of good Canadians but this situation has become much worse and Canadians are masters at ignoring things. There is a Ukrainian flag flying from my cabin not a Canadian one. Construction has slowed down here , no one can afford anything , I live in Guelph Ontario on the main floor of a house with three bedrooms , and paying $1800 , I'm one of the lucky ones because my good friend bought this house in 2012 and I moved in , I was paying $1300 up until he sold it three years ago in 2021 and the new owners jacked the price to $1600 for fair market value , we didn't think he could raise it that much but he was able to because of new ownership, as of now 2024 , almost $1800 still not bad for this area , the trick nowadays is to stay put anywhere you are

But the proper process must be followed.\n\nI agree that the Canadian government has made mistakes. However, international students also took advantage of the system, which I can understand. The government should never have allowed international students to obtain work permits so easily. They should have been required to complete their studies, secure a job offer, and only then apply for a work permit. This would be the point at which their PR process could begin.\n\nWhat the government did instead was detrimental to Canadians. By allowing international students to get work permits immediately, bring their spouses, and provide work permits to them as well, they created challenges. Students should focus on studying first, graduating, and then finding a job—just as it used to be.\n\nThe government should create regulations requiring all publicly funded colleges and universities to cap the fees charged to international students. These institutions should only be allowed to charge a maximum of 15% to 25% above the fees for local students. Charging exorbitant amounts was essentially a form of robbery, exploiting international students with the false hope of permanent residency (PR), which is never guaranteed.

Canada has a weird system where the border is guarded by CBSA but patrolling it done by RCMP, that's like saying CBP guards the border but the federal police (FBI) patrols them (in real life it's ICE that does this). So why couldn't/wouldn't the government allow CBSA to patrol the borders? the 1.3 billion budget that was promised is mostly going to RCMP for choppers/drones and more personel to patrol the areas.. no wonder CBSA is pissed

The 14th amendment was created to protect post civil war blacks and ensure that they were recognized as American citizens!!! PERIOD!! there's zero benefits in moving to Canada. it is a country that is set to debt trap you for the rest of your life once you settled. they invent new tax laws every year to cheat you from your hard work earnings, no one can build a life here in Canada, this is also precisely why there is no known technology or industry developed in Canada. So called top brand in Canada, TD, was just sued and under multiple legal litigations such as AML (anti money laundering) and NSF class action lawsuit. TD by itself is only $132 billion CAD market cap vs a comparable JP Morgan Bank (US) $675 billion USD = $979 billion CAD, more than 7x the size of TD. wonder why there are very few US bank operating in Canada? cause they know better! There are no investor who are foolish enough to invest in Canada, all the tax laws are created to soak wealth from those who didn't know better. This is wrong allegation of political issues. There is no such issues.Punjab and Gujrat infact one of the richest province in India. I’m an international student, from my perspective it seems like the government can’t keep themselves from messing with the economy, basically crippling it by regulations, making the market unable to take advantage of the increased labor supply.\n\nI have spent almost half a million in Canada, which includes tuition, living cost, and starting a business which now employs two Canadians. But because I spent one term as a part time student, I have became ineligible for PGWP, which means I have no way of staying in Canada through my own agencies.\n\nThat is a slap in the face for immigrants whove come here to settle, the fact that I have positively contributed to the Canadian economy than many Canadians ever have, while withdrawing absolutely zero from public benefits, now if I buy a house here yall will drop on me a 50%+ capital gains tax and then kick me out, why would anyone want to invest in Canada? I’m seriously considering just moving to Florida because of all these. \n\nWhat happened to the good old days when you can come here with nothing, integrate into the community, and then become Canadians? Almost none of the forefathers of Canadians had to contribute this much into the society first to become Canadians, they stayed because their peers wanted them to stay, and the market was free to adjust to the labor supply and housing demand without government interference.\n\nWhat I see is not an immigration problem, it’s a big government problem, Canadians have become addicted to the government making decisions for them. The government has its grip on every aspect of Canadian life, it has hindered the responsiveness of the economy so much, that it cant even pivot to take advantage of free capital (int’l students) and third world labor rates (temp foreign workers).

Another thing to consider is to not argue with the police. In a traffic stop, you will usually do much better if you are polite, compliant and apologetic. They can breathalize you any time they want- no probable cause required! Yes, you have rights, and if your rights are trampled on, argue it in court, not on the roadside. If you’re drunk, and they tell you to go home- do it. NEVER attempt to bribe a police officer (or other official)- EVER. \n\nWhen dealing with officials, or difficult customer situations, getting loud and argumentative will make them less likely to help you. Being humble, asking for genuine help will get you much further. Persistence is okay, but remain quiet and polite about it. “I’m sorry, but I just can’t seem to get this done. I’ve done what I thought was right, but it isn’t working. Can you please help me solve this? I’m really stuck.”

The housing shortage is a common thread to the economic/ housing crisis! But why aren’t they building rental units??? Simple, would you build a plane if your passengers simply boarded the plane and refused to pay?? if that were to happen the offending passengers would be de-planed and arrested! \nBut when it comes to renters, they can move in, stop paying rent and it can take 6-12 months to legally evict them. As a former contractor I have been witness to landlords offering cash to tenants and squatters to leave their properties which have always been left trashed and badly damaged! The laws that protect these criminals are a joke and predatory tenants know it! I had a client who rented her condo to a lawyer and after a couple months the tenant stopped paying. She filed for a writ of possesion and waited months for the hearing. She brought all the documentation and the tenant showed up claiming they had cancer ( no documentation, letter from doctors Nothing!) The writ of possession was denied for compassionate reasons! The landlord had a mortgage and was paying the condo maintenance fees, the tribunal didn’t care! \nThey set it aside for six months. In the end cash was offered and the tenant left! After the massive clean up and damage was repaired it was put on the market! This is how far left Canada has gone! There’s simply no way forward!

The entire Immigration System got screwed up somewhere, due to Government Ministers who had or have NO clue what the job entailed.\nI came to Canada in mid 1970s from ENGLAND. I was not allowed into Canada, unless I could prove that I could READ, WRITE, and \nSPEAK ENGLISH (many will attest to this) I had to prove that I was EDUCATED enough, to be able to be employed. I had to have \nenough money so NOT to have to access government funds. Please think about this! Today, it is much different to get to Canada.\nI guess ILLEGAL immigration is now, part of the Canadian problem.

The viewpoint that was ignored in this video is the that of the Canadians who have been building this country for generations. The only mention of us is of one rally of defeated and frustrated Canadians, who are being victimized and displaced. Companies will no longer hire us - at all - in favour of everyone else. It's called DEI. Inclusion actually means everyone. Institutions are removing all history and acceptance of the Canadians of European descent - and calling us names like racist, transphopic etc. in order to silence us. Meanwhile, when teenagers, seniors, and every other Canadian whose families have built the luxuries that you love, are being forced into homelessness (while being called racist, phobic etc). You both seem like the quality immigrants who are welcome here. Unfortunately the majority of the bodies that have been imported here don't care at all about Canada, or the people, or the laws, or the language. They were just imported from 3rd world war torn places, and all the Canadians are being shut up. We are all being victimized; I know you're not the bad guys. But you need to know what role you are playing in this.

It’s number five in the world for importing the exporting Number one is the USA ?? . I just wanna let that sink in. I really do hope that President Trump and the president of Mexico I hope they both come to an agreement because it will not be beneficial for both parties. At least the one who’s gonna fill it. The most will be US. It’s just gonna force Mexico to look elsewhere not to mention Mexico was back by the US dollar to an extent, and it also has the back of the euro force along with the Chinese currency Mexico forced to be reckoned with not to mention all the car companies that are being Located in Mexico cars that enter in and exit Mexico in the car market not to mention Mexico now has the biggest cobalt mining probably in the world if I’m not mistaken Mexico is now in demand. Mexico knows this now but it’s not stronger than the US but if the US no longer cooperates with Mexico in Mexico, no longer cooperates with the US well it’s gonna be pretty sad not to mention the amazing history they have Like when Mexico along with Brazil defended the US when they were crippled by Japan and when Mexico went to help liberate during the Nazi invasion in Austria, Mexico has a great history of warfare and defending this country as well. Canada and / or Canadians need to find a way to build new homes that aren't so costly. The average house price in Canada is approximately 462,428.15 CAD. This is was out of touch with average Canadian income (average.$59,300.) A person making 60,000 CAD will be approved for a mortgage of no more than 168,000 CAD. So, what do they do? They rent. The average cost of rent in Canada is over 2000 CAD. This rental payment is roughly equivalent to paying for a 300,000 CAD mortgage. The system is broken. Period.

Thank you for summarizing these key changes! Many problems are actually the Canadian immigration system not learning from the mistakes of the US system and now it’s suffering the same consequences. If Canada cuts down on those selected immigrations but still takes in refugees, it’s only going to make anti-immigrant sentiment worse. Selected immigrants are allowed into Canada to help alleviate Canadian issues…or at least people who come through Express Entry are less likely to become a burden. On the other hand, refugees, given their unfortunate circumstances, really need to rely on a lot of social services and resources to help them resettle. The US has eliminated pretty much all non-humanitarian immigration that’s why immigrants are so demonized there. Americans only feel the drags of refugees and asylum seekers (even though ethically we need to protect them) and there is no selected immigration to balance that out. Yet this round of Canadian policy change is heading exactly that direction.\n\nIt used to be international students in Canada are not paying a lot more tuition than Canadian students. But Canadian universities saw how much money universities in the US are making so they asked the federal government to change the policy to enable them to charge international students several times the regular tuition (whereas in countries like France, international students actually pay less than citizens). So now Canadian universities rely too much on international students to operate and it becomes an exploitative relationship even before students step foot on the campus. The new PGWP eligibility is awful because students can make contributions in every field. It might (and that's a big if) address the pressing problems, but it won't help Canada grow.\n\nI thought the new language requirement was interesting. Some Canadians who immigrated decades ago when the bar was really low still speak English poorly and now they are saying people can’t come to Canada because their language skills are not sufficient. Another point about language is if you apply through Express Entry now, even if you scored the highest language score, given how competitive the pool is, you still won’t get selected. So it’s a given that you need to be fluent in one of the languages at least to get an invitation. Express Entry also selects only the top people, I saw the head of The Institute for Canadian Citizenship in interviews talking about those top-tier people only expect the best treatment/lifestyle when they come to Canada. That's why many of them leave after seeing these Canadian problems play out. But I believe a good Canadian life is not about living in a high rise in Vancouver and Toronto, driving an expensive car, or buying luxury items...it's about the communities, nature and middle-class comfort. So the system is giving PRs to the wrong kind of people (just like mismatched people when hiring that don't align with company values).\n\nThis brings me to the last frustrating issue. There were so many people who attended “fake” universities and bought “fake” jobs to earn points to get an Express Entry invitation. And it's clear that the government wasn't proactively catching these abuses. They are taking up spots from those who try to earn the points fair and square. If I understand correctly, Canada doesn’t send these people away if they are found out (since some of them were scammed). So they still take up immigration quotas.\n\nI have wanted to move to Canada for a long time. I have visited Canada many times, hiking trails through the coastline and fjords, climbing mountains and glaciers. I lived in Montreal for two months to improve my French and I was told by my homestay family that I was the first student they had who didn’t complain about the cold (I wish the winter never ends so I can skate or xc ski in the parks year-round). I have probably seen more Canada than many Canadians and I love every bit of it. But the opportunity for me to even get a shot to move there is pretty much nonexistent now. If only there was a way for the system to allow people who really care about Canada to get a shot at being part of this beautiful country.\n\nThank you for making these videos.

The problem with here is also with Khalistan issue (of course not all Punjabis there want Khalistan and are absolutely chill people and people here in India, Punjabis, also don't want Khalistan, I have some close friends who are Sikh and are most Dildaar, Big-hearted, people I know). A lot of extremist groups which want, Khalistan ARE supported and protected by the Canadian government especially by Justin Trudeau and these people are committing nothing but violence and terrorism in the name of free speech. Indian government has issued many extradition requests, but the Trudeau government has done nothing about it and has protected these extremists. Over the years Indian government has warned Canadian government about this issue constantly and after years of housing these Canadian terrorists (because Canada calls them their citizens and protects them, what else can be the correct term for them and nothing like Khalistan exists) they've started to cause problems for the people already living there (like the terrorists Pakistan was housing are causing problems to them). They know they are not gonna get a Khalistan in India so where else are they gonna build it? Voila! Canada! This is the reason behind them not assimilating with the existing culture.Trudeau has even gone to lengths of calling Amit Shah (Home minister of India) and PM Modi (if you don't know what the heck are you doing here go study geopolitics a bit) unalivers of Hardeepsingh Nijjar WITHOUT any evidence (they just keep saying they have it but have shown nothing till now) and because of which Canada has worsened its relations with the Indian Government. They are even comparing India with the likes of North Korea in terms of threat. I'm a US citizen living in Honduras. I'm sorry, because this is unrelated, but I want to let people know..... Today I was condemned to fight cancer alone. When my cancer was discovered for the first time, it was because I had seizures. Because of this, I can't drive. Because I can't drive, I can't get a decent job in The US. For a spousal visa, you need to have a certain amount of money. I don't have it. No matter that we have it together - being the citizen, that responsibility is solely on me. A humanitarian visa is $730, and only good for one use. We can't afford that. We went for a tourist visa, with a emergency appointment. They approved the emergency appointment, then promptly denied my husband's visa, without even asking him WHY he wanted to go to The US. Fighting cancer alone is exhausting. Why is that not a good enough reason for my husband to go to The US with me? Only for my appointments. Why is that not good enough? I guess he'll meet my family at my funeral, but not before.

It seems to me better than punitive percentage tariffs is that each foreign country can buy American products first from tracked like product categories. The United States Counts how many units of that type of United States made product was bought first by a foreign  country. Then United States consumers, or companies are allowed to buy the same matching unit count of foreign products from like categories.  In this way no foreign company selling into the United States can fluid the United States Market with cheap foreign government subsidized goods. In this tracked unit count system of fair trade one American made unit sale for one foreign made like unit sale can take place.

Tarriff exclusions are a carrot and stick, which will bring businesses and entire industries to heel. Corruption is going to flood the zone, as Trump threatens disaster after disaster, and makes everyone bend kneees and open wallets to get out of it. Bezos' WaPo policy is a canary in the coal mine. DOGE will also be used in this fashion - in addition to being the world's biggest crypto scam: nothing will shoot crypto prices up like cutting tens of thousands of civil service jobs and replacing them with blockchain + AI, forcing mass adoption. If that sounds like conspiracy theory, this is Musk we are talking about - blockchain and AI are two of his favorite techs. Since Donald Trump has become the president elect, I have seen so many Hispanic Americans that were once themselves “illegal immigrants” make the statement that they would have no issues with family members and friends who are currently illegal, be deported?! The hypocrisy and complete disregard for others that are literally in the same position that they once were, is almost unimaginable!
