Hi I'm from Russia and I would say that mostly people who lives in english speaking countries they usually can only tell about wealth privilegues of having particular passport, offical status of their country and that's it. for my personal opinion the motherland is something that is more than that. I didn't travel much somewhere but I've been abroad and I would say - nowhere is better than here in Russia for me. And those people who just moved there to foreign counties from Russia as example they pretend that it's much better for them in completely alien country. that's a bull shit as I guess because each people is like a spider who since it was given a birth is spreading out it's net in particular place (their parents, friends, first love, lovely places, and etc) and since they moved somewhere all this NET will be torn for a long time or forever and never restored anymore. and for my personal opinion immigration is BULL SHIT and I would do it in a completely disparate situation. And I see nothing common with english speakers in mentality, everything that you're interested in is a personal wealth and interest in everything. Russians in this way are much better.

I used to love to go to NYC for Christmas. However, the last time i went Manhattan was not like it used to be. There are loads of ppl smoking weed, the train, which i used to like to ride, has lots of homeless and drunk ppl and was dirty. This reminded me when i used to go to the city as a boy in the 80s and 90s but was changed due to Gulliani and others. Last Christmas I continued my tradition to go to NY but i stayed in Buffalo. It is actually nice there and i saw loads of snow.

These same guys wont talk to their own relatives or fellow Indians but once they are in Canada reality hit them in form of white trash how it feels tell me you morons who love flash that they are in Canada and their fellow countryman are below their knees.

I tell you what, I have been saying this about the Canadian border for more than 20 years. I used to love to drive to Ontario and it was SO easy through Detroit, Niagara, etc. But the thing NO ONE is talking about is the ability to get a BOAT or using a FERRY to cross the border all the time. It's so easy it's scary. ALSO there is an area of of the New York to Maine border that is mostly forest and with minimal roads/population. Our God only knows what is going on there. I have to say, that when I drove through this area in 2013 as a woman with her dog, I was afraid. I don't scare easily, and I trust my instincts. Something's got to change.

This was always going to occur. Shut down the southern border and people will try to get in through the north. As I understand it, we don't have the same deportation laws with Canada as we do with Mexico. This needs to be dealt with and Canada needs to step up. I live in a norther border state and my younger brother died of fentanyl. I am fed up with it. My father was an American, I would never move to the USA . I used to enjoy to visit. However I find today that it is too dangerous. It’s off to me that when things get bad in a country there is always a certain percentage of people that are just ready to give up and leave. The government of India should find ways to use the human resources locally. There has been a widespread anti-Indian sentiment in the West and in Australia.
