These people are not migrants, they are opportunists. Here in Canada we watch daily on news people escaping from US crossing the border. I guess in New York migrants can get prepaid card for some time and then authorities cut them off and migrants come back to Canada for canadian money, it's a revolving door

The couple arrives with their 6 childrens. The wife does not work because in their country that's not how it works. The man work a little bit and they receive huge benefits like CCB, CCR, GST and other... So for one uber driver it cost several thousands to US!!! They don't come here asking how they can contribute, they come here to take our money. They live together in the same neiborhood with no intention of learning french or english. It's a cash grab operation and we are getting f*cked.

It's multifaceted. Liberals opened up the flood gates with policies making it very easy for people to immigrate to Canada and increased immigration numbers. It's no longer tied to what Canada can support based on services, resources, and housing. It's simply: Come on in. Second, I've watched a few videos on Youtube showing how immigration is almost a form of trafficking at this point. Immigration companies are making money hand over fist promising the moon to students and people who want a better life and when these poor people get here they end up in crowded lodging with horrible job prospects. A lot of this goes back to the government laxing immigration policies and not being firm on how much we can bring in. This tsunami of immigration has impacted health services, governmental services, and the lives of Canadians. We need to do this smart or not at all. It's frustrating and the frustration needs to be put where it's due, on government and policy but it's also impacting the people and community around us. :( It really isn't the Canada of 10 years ago.

Solution is easy, we have the most powerful military on the planet, the lack of desire to solve it by the government is problem. All you have to do is put 2 and 2 together. Look at what's happening around the world. We're not the only country allowing millions of people in, and we're not the only country embracing socialism. This is a globalist movement coordinated by multiple governments to push their agenda of eliminating nationalism so they can retain power thru elections. The more elections they win in a row, the more they'll start to change laws and constitutional rights by packing the Supreme Court. They've already started appointing many woke DA's and prosecutors. Many of these migrants already have a house, job and safety in their own countries. I Feel like the 'cartel' story is overly used to make seeking asylum easy. I have some comments about some of the things in the video. Including Olivia Chow in the video when talking about housing affordability with local government policies I don't think is right to inlcude her as she only got elected last year and has to deal with all the decisions and issues from the past Toronto mayor. It's similar to blaming Biden for the economic issues of the US when a lot of the reasons for the downturn economy in the US during his first term was the impact of the economic policies that Trump put in place, it takes time. In terms of the carbon tax, I think its a valid criticism with the compounding issues canadians are facing, but also take into consideration that the provincial governments also have some play with this, as they have the ability to go for the standard carbon tax or implement a cap and trade. A lot of conservative governments like to complain about the federal government about this, but they are also to blame for some of the lack of affordability for political points. As well for the banking fees, we do have a smaller selection of banks, but there are some options that Canadians can have that do not include fees (Simplii, Tangerine). Everything else in the video I agree on, I also think personally that all political parties need a shake up in leadership.

your argument is false. US has one of the most efficient health care systems in the world. The problem is that it's a for profit system which denies access to approx to 40% of its citizens and it's cost prohibitive to many. In Canada, our health system is not efficient but it is affordable and universally available to all citizens. Most developed countries except US adopt similar universal models and it works.

The biggest impact on the declining economic productivity coincides with the Trump administrations trade war against Canada. Canada is at the whim of US economic policy, which I fear is going to get even worse when Trump returns to office. A transition to Conservatives at the Federal level may lighten the load on a few things like Carbon Tax, and Income Tax (maybe), but they won't be the party to introduce limitations and regulations on investors that are responsible for driving up housing prices, by treating the housing market like it's a stock exchange. \nI will applaud Trudeau on winning over the EV battery plant, for pulling us out of bombing Syria and Iraq, for legalizing Marijuana, and for including Dental Care in health coverage (albeit limited...), but some of his decisions should have been better thought through, like the capital gains tax, and should only be targeting investors that have more than 3 properties. While he increased the budget for the Military, he's spent his first two terms ignoring it and that's severely hampered our readiness, and equipment. And while I do think we needed to boost immigration to stave off economic disaster, the current level that its at is problematic, and many bad faith actors are taking advantage of it and enriching themselves like the diploma mills.

I am disappointed with this video. The problems mentioned here are in USA and UK as well. We form opinions based on our experiences. I have no complaints against Healthcare as I was operated in few hours in emergency and never had to wait long for diagnostic tests. Education in Canada is affordable compared to US. Air and Food quality is great. People are extremely friendly. Yes, the housing crisis is there especially post Covid but hoping the market will correct gradually. In my experience, every country has pros n cons and one needs to make a choice between their home country and Canada comparing both based on one's priorities and preferences.Canada changed our lives in so many good ways and my whole family appreciates it. Canada is ovetall a nice country. And it's not easy to get PR. If you get , it's luck n hardships to settle in any new country.

A little bit skewed but the video makes some good points. I move from Canada to the US in 2016. The US is wild and there are many downsides, such as lack of healthcare and unaffordable higher education to name only the two most glaring ones out of many, but it is economically more vibrant. Regarding rent prices in large cities, if I were to live in Canada again, I'd definitely steer away from Vancouver or Toronto. Montreal has very affordable apartment prices comparatively if you're willing to put up with learning French for instance. Food prices have gone up but so have they in the US since COVID, whether you're living north or south of the border, it's not much better... In the end it's all about weighing pros and cons. What are you willing to sacrifice / let go of, and what is something you can't live without?

They all immigrate to PEI because it is the quickest way to seek citizenship in the country, as soon as they gain it they move to Ontario. I have met many wonderful people from India through work and because of our government choosing to allow so many people over here without providing proper housing for not only the new immigrants, but also for our own native born citizens, there is nothing available at any decent price for young people like myself who want to move out from their parents homes. It's also causing a lot of people to be racist towards Indians when the fault truly lies in our government. And because we are allowing so many people over here without proper background checks and things such as that we are also allowing people over here that could pose a threat to women or others. I had a cab driver last week (who was from India) who tried to hit on me and told me he left India because he was getting into too many physical fights over in India and also told me he had gotten into physical fights with some of his customers as well. It was scary for me as a woman to be in a car with that man who was taking me to my home. The government needs to do better for us. We feel alone and ignored when it comes to this. The greed pushing this stupid, and not properly thought out, immigration policy needs to be put to an end so that the people who have lived here their whole lives can get a chance at life.

Canada is also a place where being a criminal is far more honorable and beneficial to local communities. Because that illegal money flows into local economies. As a native Jamaican, I can attest to the Canadian natives, that's how our government treats us also, they treat us as foreigners and strangers while providing all the best treatments to the actual foreigners.. A Jamaican has to wait for hours in a line even in the hot sun or the rain, while a foreigner would be attended to immediately as they arrive, and the list goes on, so I can sympathize with the native Canadians.. I'm not saying that they should not be treated with kindness and respect, but what about the born citizens?? Have they totally forgotten that the nation is actually the people, and the power that they possess was given to them by the people?? But on the other hand, some Canadians shouldn't be complaining, because they had it in their grasp, but didn't appreciate it, so it departed, and unfortunately, it seems it has landed in the hands of the majority of immigrants that don't appreciate it either.. But I'm sure there are some that really appreciate the opportunity.. I myself would, because I don't have it here in Jamaica.. I'll be honest while writing this! Being Indian i feel ashamed nowadays bcoz of Trudeau's love affair for Khalistani's. When i came here 6 years it was way better but in last 2-3 years Trudeau has literally dumped whole Punjab into Canada without any screening. Skilled? Tim Horton's isn't something we need to import people for. We need Doctors. I think there is a plan to turn Canada into the new India. Within 4 blocks of where I live there is now almost 30 Indian restaurants..... Might be a dozen other types. It's one thing to come here, respect the way of life and another to force your way of life on us. I love Indian culture and Indian people. But we have a culture here and i'd like to keep it alive. So many dramatic changes have happened just in the past 5 years. I welcome adding something. But not completely replacing what we have.

Love your videos, however I must say that you seem to be very naive about the reality, severity and frequency of racism in the US, no matter the area. It's not really your place as a white man to say that that person's complaints and fears regarding that are exaggerated (especially considering they had lived there for 6 years lol they didn't pull that sentiment out of thin air). While Canada is by no means free of racism, it is absolutely a deciding factor for a lot of minorities and for good reason unfortunately.

My partner have been in Canada since 2021 and he came there on study visa. While applying for the permit, every student promise to IRCC that they will leave Canada once they finish the study though everyone who comes on study visa aims to be permanent residents later. However both me and my partner think and accept that *PR is not a right that we could fight or protest for.* The Candian govt does not owe a PR promise to any international students. If we are lucky enough to get the PR, well, we are blessed and it's a favour offered by the Govt. of Canada. Anybody applying for any forms of temporary residence in the country are obliged to accept the rules and regulations and policies associated with their stay. If we will not get PR in the future, we will leave the country with All due respect to every opportunities and fortunes that this country has given us. No offense. Also when you move and settle in another country respect their culture and don't ever try to showcase the culture and practices of your home country if it will not be welcomed by the native people.

I never voted for Trudeau. EVER! And before you think I am a CP supporter, I am not. I am not a Conservative. Yet when he came to power I knew it would be a disaster for this country. In the last 10 years Trudeau's Administration--or considered lack thereof--has just devastated us. His Liberal Government is absolutely disgusting. I wish people would have seen that he was never a good choice. He's enabled life in Canada to just collapse. As a born and raised Canadian I can tell you it doesn't surprise me that people are leaving this place in droves. If I could, I would too. It is a sorrowful state of affairs. Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. Where are they to serve you? Where are the so called patriotic 'original' Canadian Doctors'? They are off to US to earn more money. U think they care enough for their home country?\n If Canada won't, somebody Else will accept these people. Sad thing is, many can not differentiate the browns who have immigrated pre 1990 and the ones who have come in post-pandemic. The ones coming in post-pandemic are the village trash, entitled, and snobby. Those people are the very same reasons we left our countries to begin with. It's wild that when we migrated to Canada we see the very same filth and trashy people we experienced decades ago before immigrating here. The worst mistake I have done in my time in Canada was to vote Liberal (for the first time ever) back in 2015 and many of us regret this choice.

I got really lucky and my mom sighed us both up for public housing almost 26 years ago. So i live in a decent one bedroom apartment. It's not the best area downtown. But everywhere else around me is great and only walking distance from anything i coukd need.d?my work is also just two blocks away from my apartment. I work in harm reduction and its sometimes pretty depressing. And my apartment is an ok size. But i get freaking mice. I had to get a cat to catch them and it works. But i shouldn't have to even do that. But my rent is insanely cheap. I feel baf cause gettin on the housing list takea years. Toronto is expensive .

If you're from Asia or Europe, don't come to the US or Canada. It's not worth it. It's a trap.

The gov has this half wage putting local adult and youths on welfare. Gov putting locals out of work. they refuse to work in local business. Tell me Only want gov jobs lol yeah !!! As a Canadian comparing us to the United States is like comparing us to apples and oranges I live in Canada I'm perfectly happy sure it's not the cheapest thing ever but then again where is cheap I am a proud Canadian and always will be and yes we're moving to the United States no thanks I'd rather not get shot ??

I'm an international student form Nicaragua, and I'm doing my best to contribute to this country since day 1. And I'm looking to stay in this country not to take advantage of anything, but to contribute and give way more than I have received here. It's just not fair that we are being affected by Indians, the government should apply measures according to each situation from each country of origin. Indians are the abusers of the system, not us that we are the real minority here trying to earn our place here but just our pure honest effort.

Canada is for Canadians ??, it's time we push back against Punjabi ?? and the Khalistan. We need an outright stop to all forms of imagination, including refugees. Hard cap if not outright ban on immigration from India. It's time for young Canadians to stand up for their god-given rights!\n\nThe movement needs to start NOW! You have the platform. Some of the stats cited here are straight up wrong or... creatively employed, and there's a lot of contradictory information and the typical conservative 'the sky is falling' sensationalism and misattribution. That said, the bas supposition isn't wrong. The bubble we've been sitting on for 20 or so years has completely burst. As someone born and raised in the Toronto area, it's impossible for me to afford to own a house or apartment here on a teacher's salary. Even rent pushes me to the limit unless I want to live in a... less than nice area. I'm living hand to mouth and enjoying the benefits of living in a 'developed' country less. Here's why:\n\n1. Wages aren't really even close to keeping up with the cost of living. The first tick upwards a bit. The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. The wealthy upper crust of high population countries are moving here and buying property because Canada is (still) more safe and stable and less repressive than their home countries in most cases. \n\n5. There's a cycle beginning: as people are squeezed and forced to spend more on 'needs', they spend less on eating out, entertainment, and other 'wants'. These are significant drivers of the service economy and they're being hit hard. So, what can they do? They can let go of workers or lower product costs to remain profitable, but they their quality declines and, in a market where people are pinching every penny and looking for quality for their dollar, they're less likely to go back. They can raise their prices, of course, but then they price people out completely and their profits still tank. I went to a decent steakhouse for my dad's 60th last week. I can't remember the last time that I went to one before that. \n\n6. Our politicians and news cycles focus on the most niche and irrelevant stuff because it'll stoke anger and get tongues wagging. This carbon thing is almost a non-issue, but our conservative leader is harping on about it like it's singlehandedly the death of the Canadian economy when it's a drop in the bucket. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

Solo's hundreds of billions of dollars that the government's going to take back and taxes from us all draw the cost of housing through the roof. Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. I do find it slightly offensive that a lot of new immigrants new Canadians immigrate to Canada to purely exploit it for its wealth Canada should be looked at as a place to come put your hard work in the struggles the ups and downs? and look at it as your home instead of you know a piggy bank but people are going to leave and there's a long line up to get in I've seen in my 40 year career you know three major reps and three major downs. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. Also if you're a millennial or was a gen z person there's going to be a massive transfer of wealth over the next 20 to 30 years as baby boomers simply die off and then you guys are going to inherit their money I live in any one of the g7 economies I just got to find your niece with your qualifications and get in there and innovate because there's not one g7 country that significantly doing better than anyone else another interesting part of the world is East Africa I'm retiring there in 5 years I've already done my homework I've already got partners I've already started to train up people there in East Africa Canada and those parts of the world they have East Africa's great basic infrastructure so now that they've got their first level base of infrastructure a second economy is built off at the service that basic infrastructure that basic infrastructure allows for that second layer a bigger layer of investment you know and that's where the real money is for mid-level investors and you know highly educated Young westerners have got 10 years into their respective careers and these are also very beautiful countries you know so you can if you got family in Canada family in Europe India Asia you know you can start building networks collaborate on projects you know in these you know emerging economies you know mid-level economies but that's you know a good 20-year grind to get good at your career and build your confidence to go into these places and get these things done also you know it's a great life adventure but never expect just because you have an advanced degree that the door even come knocking down your door to employ you if you're going to wait for the opportunity to come to you you're going to be waiting forever you got to take your advanced degrees get out there and hustle and work hard man Canada's doing fine about four or five years it's you know it's going to take off next level and it's going to boom for 40 years and it's never going to get any cheaper in g7 countries Amy's emerging economies his pockets around the world they're starting to come up to in the window to get into these emerging economies with your advanced degrees it's closing if you don't make it if you don't start looking at it in the next 5 years your degrees are going to be gone useless and if you do decide to put your career in these emerging economies like Asia South America Central America Africa do it for the right reasons not just for money we don't want to make the same mistakes as like the industrial Revolution where a few people get rich and the people in that country you know don't get anything have respect for these countries employ their people and you have to get into these places before all the big corporations get set up there cuz they're they're going there Canada's a great place as a great time free medical system and I urge anybody that's feeling down or depressed in Canada you know to go get some therapy join some clubs talk to people don't get down and mostly don't you know don't give up on yourself you guys made it through you know Elite post-secondary education system and if you can if you can do that I mean you can you can do anything a lot of hard work ahead truly best of luck to all you guys
