Canada is basically earning fast food wages while having to pay executive level expenses in all aspects of life. You do the math and understand this Ponzie scheme. The local social life is cold and sucks too.

I am from Pakistan. Studied and lived in USA for over 10 years. Don't know where my time has gone so fast. Life is very busy in usa (I lived in Chicago, Denver, Orange County, CA and LA. People have to work two jobs to ends meet. Most people have to share housing...that really sucks. Constant expense (rent or mortgage payments are so high people have to constantly work. Whatever time people get they run chores and stay home and chill. You see ultra rich or people on welfare having fun at the beach. I have had a very close friend from pakistan came to usa same time as I did. we both never had enough time to meet up on regular basis. even when we met we had so many things in back of our minds running. I had couple of girlfriends (of course at different times) but they had other boyfriends at the same time. And number one thing they had on their mind is was get money from you. What you wear and drive is what you are. People consider you obsolete if you wear non branded shoes or older models of branded shoes. I traveled extensively in the US and Canada. But in East Europe like Romania and Poland I found people very friendly. Now I am back in pakistan facing basic problems like traffic jams, noisy honking streets and so on but for some reason i feel worriless and relax. whenever i go out, people start to talk to you and you feel like home. everyone is super friendly and is available for help. however you cant really trust people with money though. hahahha. After living in USA for so long I do really miss many things about it though. the efficient system is definitely a big plus. and i have realized that some times i like being all alone for extensive period of times. but knowing that i can meet up anyone any time gives me peace of mind. i have realized hard way that man made martials can amuse you to some extent only. you need live beings are you.

I've been living in Toronto my whole life and for me personally I wouldn't live anywhere else in Canada! I've been to Quebec a bunch of times but that's about it. Our Country tries to promote for Canadians to travel and explore our own country but it's stupid expensive. Why would I pay for a flight to BC when for the same price and time spent on an airplane just go to Europe! I go to Europe every year because it offers a million more things to explore. The other thing that sucks about Canada (though it's beautiful) it doesn't have a lot of major cities and the ones we do have are very scarcely separated. I love living here but if I had to recommend this country to a tourist, I'd say meh just go see the US because it has the same and more.

I came to Canada as a student in January 2020.. Just 3 months in and the pandemic broke out.. I think the Government forgot about the fact that they have international students residing here… we go no socialisation, no friends to hang out with and as a very social person it really hit me hard… Idk it kinda sucks that I had to be completely isolated for 2 years and it’s still the same…

I escaped from fascist/communist Czechoslovakia in 1980. The police state of Canada is now far worse than it ever was there. \n\nI have shut down all my businesses this last year. Laid off 65 employees. And am leaving. I will no longer pay some of the highest taxes and worst red tape on the planet, while constantly being told how 'privileged' I am after working 16 hours days for 30 years, to live with every aspect of my life under government rule and restrictions!!!! \nGOOD BYE. I am preparing to run away from Canada mainly because of hidden crime rate that is disastrously high (government targeting of innocent citizens), theft, racism and discrimination. Also Canadian companies do not like forigners to take their jobs and keep everything secret at work place. So new comers will be doing very low-brain kind of job. I was able to jump to very high levels in my profession and was training engineers and managers on electronic industry - even though they still dont want me to learn everything. So going back main homeland I can be more expert than them all. To me, Canada realy sucks.

You are just stack with all of thouse professions, itll take years to work in your field, you will loose time and may never recover from that damaged. AND THEY NEVER WORN ABOUT SUCH THINGS AT THE INTERVIEW, CANADA IS A HUGE BRAIN SUCKER, IT SUCKS IT UP FROM OTHRE COUNTRIES AND ROUINS IT IN CANADA

I’ve lived in Canada my whole life, I’ve gone through a year of culinary school and passed high school with decent grades. Yet still improving my quality of life is an uphill battle. Bus prices and efficiency is awful, if you don’t have a car good luck cause you’ll spend much of your wage on bus fare and still have to walk through poor sidewalk systems to get to your destination. Schooling really didn’t teach me anything about taxes, or getting a job. But let me tell you I sure as heck know how to lease a car.... can’t wait to get a job so I can do that. My year of culinary training, under 4 red seal chefs has gotten me not one job. No matter how perfect you are for the role is you will ALWAYS get an entry level position first. (In my experience at least) and they are completely right, references are 100% key. I have a first shift tomorrow (wish me luck) that I only got because my chiropractor gave the pancakes house owner his reference. Very weird but I’ll take it. On top of all this winter just sucks, politics have gone nowhere in years, and if you don’t live in the major cities of Quebec, BC, or Ontario it’s going to be even harder. Plus living in Manitoba is odd cause people always call it “friendly Manitoba” but everyone (including me) is always frustrated. Needless to say I’m in the process of researching new place to move to, most likely in Europe cause America has all the same problems. (But worse)

The Canada of today does not even remotely resemble the Canada I grew up in. It's ridiculously expensive, government services are a joke and frankly, the weather sucks. I’d love to visit Atlantic Canada: all my friends here on the West Coast say it’s very nice. \nI loved living in Quebec and Montreal, but both cities are very cold in winter—and I don’t speak no french too good, hoste! \nI’m from Ontario. it probably was a beautiful place until white people got there. But it’s way too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Most of my family has moved out to the West Coast. I guess they missed me.\nManitoba is very nice, but you’re right about cold winters and lots of mosquitoes in summer. Winnipeg is a fantastic city. The biggest city on the North American Plains.\nSouthwest Saskatchewan is absolutely beautiful. Can confirm, Winnipeg sucks.... It's the violent crime capital, murder capital and stolen bicycle capital of Canada.... But the lakes make for nice swimming..... If you can handle all the horse flies and mosquitoes waiting to bite you the second you leave the water ??‍♂️.... And that's why I now live in Vancouver

I just left Canada because the government sucks!!!!! The taxes are insane. There are way to many government jobs with pensions!!! Post office people get huge pensions. It just doesn’t make sense with the cost of living. I live in Germany now and it has a way better cost of living!!!!!

Canadian immigration sucks. There is no control. I came as an immigrant and I witnessed many heart wrenching situations. Ghost immigrants and non resident Canadian citizens living in India, Dubai, Russia, Lebanon, USA, Israel, Turkey, HongKong etc. They barely lived in Canada, yet they have same rights like us, take child support subsidies, welfare, CPP, Old Age while we bust our a....s in the cold to pay taxes and build the Canadian system. America was just lucky, because it very nearly had Hillary Clinton as President. Canada was unlucky. We got our Hillary Clinton up here and it really really sucks. I hope that we can get a better Prime Minister in elections in 2019.

Something people need to know is that while Trump was just a little shy of receiving the popular vote to win big, our closet queen only received 39% of the popular vote to win a majority government. Oh great. This was posted on my birthday. Listen: i've lived here for nearly 15 years. \nFirst thing I noticed when I came here was the diner. Menu was pages and pages and pages. A plate could feed a family of four. \nGet a job with healthcare. It's not so difficult. Come on now. What a subtle way by the CBC of saying your restaurant isn't closing down because of your skin color, its because your food is too overpriced and the service sucks. The Chinese restaurant across the street is still going strong.\nStop pulling out the race card for everything.\n\nI'm not saying saying racism doesn't exist in Canada but saying your business is failing because you're black even though other minorities in the area aren't being discriminated against?
