It's unconscionable that we've invited people to come to Canada without actually following through on the promise we made to them in the first place. Was it all just sloganeering designed to appeal to liberal progressive NIMBYers? Was there ever any intent on actually doing something for these poor people beyond a sound bite or photo op? \n\nThe solution to migration because of war, terror, famine and so on is not by opening up the borders and allowing everyone in, the solution to mass migrations (over 100 million worldwide) is to tackle the conditions that make such migrations necessary. Almost without exception, each one of these migrant/refugee situations are the result of political problems that have to be tackled in those countries where the conditions exist. There are over 100 million people fleeing conditions that make life unbearable, even if we wanted to, how are we to take them all into North America? How does anyone propose we do that, and even if we could manage it somehow, another 100 million would show up on our doorstep next year...or next week...it's simply not possible or reasonable to expect us to be overwhelmed by wave after wave of the poor unfortunate. The solutions to war and famine abroad can't be found here and we need to make it plain that people who live in such conditions must first rise up to help themselves. We can and should help, politically, through foreign aid and individual donations (North Americans are among the most generous donators after all), and even militarily where feasible or possible. The UN and other coalitions of nations, must each take up the burdens before people smugglers take it up for them. We have our own problems to deal with here and I'm not willing to vote for promises made that were never meant to be kept.

The American businessman wants Mexico up here so that they can underpay them. A long time ago these same companies tried to move to Mexico and there was huge backlash. So they brought Mexico to them. Now that Mexicans are trying to come here they're trying to keep them out because they don't need all of them. America rose to power by exploiting blk ppl. Well what happened was like three hundred plus years ago there was an invasion into this country from European Invaders and the natives who are indigenous to this land tried to fight vigorously to keep this land but unfortunately with modern technology being on the foreign Invaders side they wanted this land America and after the British claim victory they took this land over plundered it and now the Mexicans and Native Americans want their land back. A variation of this is happening in Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Norway,Germany,etc. They took in Muslim, African refugees and gave them housing, medical care and benefits. The refugees kept insisting on more money. More immigrants kept coming along with the increase of crime. So now Europe is wanting to send all the immigrants back. Something has to change in the USA. We cannot just give our resources to undocumented aliens. Our resource to help has it-s limits. America for Americans!

The American government, butts their noses in other countries affairs, such as Ukraine, Iraq, Germany etc throughout the past 100 anõs I think that’s how you spell years in Spanish lol. The lack of empathy here is staggering. Imagine if you lived every day not knowing where your next meal is coming from, surrounded by cartel violence, corruption, poverty, and war. It makes me happy to see all the comments of legal immigrants to the US who are angered by this. Personally I have no issues with legal immigration from any country and I respect it and I'll break bread with you cuz your an American now like me. I think legal immigrants are a breath of fresh air and we can have some support coming from the Hispanic community against illegal immigration. Sm people think if your hard on illegal immigration your racist against Hispanics but that's not it at all. We need more legal immigrants with this mindset to help diversify the republican party and help to stop democrats from labeling it as a racist party. Now adays so many people aren't republican solely because they aren't white and think the democratic party is more favorable to anyone of color. But the republican party favors Americans period regardless of race. Illegal immigration is bad even if America was in a totally different place and bordered a white nation we still wouldn't want em in here just as much. If Canada had a curropt authoritan government and they were all illegally immigrating here than it'd be them we'd be having these disputes with. I’m American and Canada ?? is awesome I love the people. Some of the best people I ever met. Strangers paying for my food all type of stuff. Shout out to all Canadians. Yes and if these people truly believed in God and Jesus they wouldn't run from their countries but actually stay on the ground and stand strong in their faith that God and Jesus are going to help them persevere through all this. As a fully disabled American citizen with a child that doesn't even get $1,000 a month and there's no available housing at all where I live no waiting list to go on people on SSI disability don't get any extra housing help we're not offered separate housing are put on separate lists and low-income Able Body people or the migrants jumping the Border but I was born and raised here paid taxes and worked until my body literally couldn't anymore but I don't hear anybody bitching and screaming and crying about the fact that my son and I would be on the streets if it hadn't been for one of my family members stepping up and giving his housing after a lifetime restraining order issued during my pregnancy on my son's biological do do with domestic abuse situation. I'm also US citizen that spent time in the Wards in Houston and projects and other cities and if you don't think that we don't have the same gun violence drug trafficking human trafficking gangs take it over cartels taking over neighborhoods and communities than you're freaking lying to yourself and everybody else. The same s*** that's taken over these countries is taking over the inner cities have been for decades and these are the same communities that most of these people will end up in. I remind people all the time and they hate hearing this s*** Jesus never had a house as a matter of fact Jesus basically live like a homeless person after he was an adult particularly and God made sure he was provided for. I mean did you all forget the night they came to take them away they were asleep in an Open Garden it wasn't like they popped up tents or glamper camper sites had some little Adobe type cabins they were sleeping in. As a matter of fact if you pay attention to most of the stories about Jesus and talking about him sleeping he does a lot of sleeping Outdoors. Remember God is a father that's how he's been represented and talked about in the Bible and Jesus was a man without a doubt no biological transgender question ability there. People need to remember that part of being a fair and loving. Is also teaching and discipline and these children following rules. I don't believe hearing God and Jesus telling all these people run from your countries and not have faith that I'm actually going to fix things for you and go run to somebody else actually go run to the United States where all those stuff is traveling through. So for all of you that want to post your personal assumptions about homeless people because that's all it is unless you've actually been homeless or spent time around homeless you really have no clue what's going on in the homeless population except what you've been told by the same political talking head media bulshit that's been lying to everybody about a bunch of other stuff too. Don't you get it the politicians don't want people knowing that a lot of the people that are homeless on the street are people that are disabled and aren't disabled because they have mental health problems I know that's the narrative they've been trying to stuff down people's throats.

My wife, a teacher here in North Carolina and I, a hard working legal migrant worker and a tax payer were given a temporary visa to stay and work here in the US for 5 years and we need to exit this july because of the US revise law. I do not understand why the US government doesn’t want to give us visa that will allow us to stay long. In my working place, theres a lot of workers(asylum) from south america mostly from haiti and they keep on coming. The number of black haitian are more that the number of combine black and white american. I would say.. this people are lazy, loud, rude, can’t speak english well yet the US government look’s like they prefer them than us.

Imagine being lied to, to the point that you run to a country that will treat you like a 2nd class wage slave and put you in a concentration camp until they can figure out what to do with you. If you want freedom and liberty get on a boat and find an African country with no or little taxes. Meritocracy is dying in the west and it's because large American companies love cheap low skill labor that won't complain as they are being worked to death for pennies. First, they had to pay to go from Africa, to South America; and then they had to pay again to get from South America to the U.S. border. Professional Travel Agencies arranged all of this.\n\nSo these people are in no way “refugees”. But now, Washington D.C. claims that “refugees” and “migrants”and “dreamers” are all the same group. Therefore, American taxpayers must provide transportation, health care, food, housing, and employment to anyone who enters the United States for any reason. \n\nThat’s an invasion. \n\nDo you think it’s bad right now? Cuba, Mexico, and Haiti all plan to send fifty million more people to the U.S. within the next ten years. \n\nAfter the collapse, Asia will send another fifty million. So will India. The U.S. Army planned all of this. It’s an invasion from within.
