It’s not just Brampton, our whole fuckin country is like this now. I used to live in BC for the majority of my life, all over Vancouver to Vancouver island, even the smaller communities are completely being invaded. The practical problem is, that provincial nomination does give so many points, that it is a guarantee of normal express entry pull as long as you just meet criteria to enter Express entry. So provincial nominations are suitable for people that might be otherwise struggling with points (older age, less language perfection, les bonus points from education or work experience). For a disclaimer, provincial programs are based on a specific province needs and just because one was opened when you planned to go and study or work in Canada, it does not mean it will be like that forever. If an agent made you such promise, then he was misleading you. Again for those people demonstrating, nothing has changed for them other than one future option was gone. They still have their student or work permit until it expires. They also can apply into Express entry program as normal. My Granparents, parents, settled the homestead in 1896 near Rossland BC. How it used to work, how things are supposed to work, is the Government serves the needs and demands of the people. The people don't serve the Government nor any Corporation or Public/Private Partnership. This means that the Government doesn't prevent people from doing what they do and they don't use force to extort the fruit of everyone's labor to the point of enslavement. In 1896 and throughout my Grandfather's life from 1902 to 1976, one would do for themselves if they weren't working for someone else. In other words, you found something needed be done, something the community around you required or was lacking, you opened shop and got after it. You can't work today because you require licensing for everything, you require permission for everything, everything is regulated. People have it in their minds that it's so much better today then it was then, that it's "safer". But it's not, that's a lie. My family, although never wealthy, ate good food, always had a roof over their heads, plenty of family around and always had something to do or at least could always find something to work at. Most importantly, they always had hope because they had freedom. No one has any hope anymore and the people coming here aren't just bringing their culture to overtake our culture, they are coming with anger. With envy, resentment and malice. My family didn't come here with those things, they came to Canada with hope and determination to integrate and prosper with freedom. Over time we've convinced the proper way to do things is everyone to grow up and go their own way, leaving each other relying on benefits from the government in old age or illness or whatever calamity might strike in life. There's always something that comes along. With family you have human resource, a plethora of skills and you have your "insurance", free of extortion. Everything that comes from a government is conditional and sooner or later their conditions rule over our condition, even though it's our labor that provides for them. The answer isn't more benefits, as I've said. The answer is simply less government, so we can all get to the business of providing for ourselves and helping our communities prosper. We need to do this with family because alone, we are all isolated and powerless. No one stands alone and a house divided cannot stand.

A lot of Indians treat white people really badly. Especially when there is money involved. It’s now extremely common that people here hate dealing with Indians as customers of their business and will go as far as avoid it altogether. They will often relentlessly try to negotiate services, lie and say anything to get get their way, pester businesses until they cave to their demands and even leave bad reviews which they say they will change if you give them a good deal. None of this is the way things are done in Canada and that needs to be respected. Something kind of funny, I’ve heard many people say that Indians will often say they will refer tons of friends and family to a business if you give them an unreasonable discount (which they never do once they’ve gotten what they want), but what they don’t realize is that referring a bunch more Indians to them is the last thing that business wants. And really, some of the discounts they want on things are just ridiculous. When I was selling my car a few years ago, I had it listed for $55,000 and I got bombarded by Indians offering $20,000-$25,000 and every lie under the sun of why that’s all it was worth, other people are saying yes to offers like that for the same car, dealerships are selling them for that much and so on. Like come on. And I guess while I’m at it, I hate to say but it’s a common thing here to walk into a gas station and the smell of body odour just hits you like a brick. Insurrection is one of the lowest acts any American can do, let alone a U.S. President. Trump states that the “insurrection” falls under immunity for “official acts”. Since when is “insurrection” an “official presidential duty”? Trump is a known Master Liar. This is beyond a moment when a president estimates, guesses and exaggerate numbers, figures and facts. Trump just lies – over 2k+ lies. Trump cannot be trusted in telling Americans the truth. Every time Trump opens his mouth, a lie flies out! Trump doesn’t appear to be able to help himself. One lie after another. Spreading the lie that the 2020 election was “stolen” and not providing legal evidence is an unforgivable act that Americans should #NEVER forget. MAGA, selected GOP, Christian Nationalists don’t appear to be troubled that Trump cannot tell the truth. To me, the truth strengthens the bond of trust – I have NO Trust for Trump! MAGA, Christian Nationalists and some selected GOP – I may use big words that you don’t comprehend such as: Liar, Convicted Felon, sexual misconduct, Insurrection, Fraud, election interference, Unauthorized Possession of classified documents. These are some, not ALL, of the words that defines Trump and his actions. These things do NOT appear to cause any concerns with the 71.2m people who cast their vote in the Nov 5th ’24 presidential election. Trump had unauthorized possession of classified material. (I am not certain what Classified Material Trump possessed, but if these documents would put my friends, my family and I in harm’s way – it’s a problem.) Again, those who voted for Trump, the 71.2m people, #NEVER thought about this. If they had, Trump would #NEVER have received their vote. America has a short attention span. How quickly have we forgotten that Trump’s inaction of Covid-19 could have prevented many from becoming ill and millions losing their lives. (If one of your loved ones have passed due to Covid-19, you will remember Trump’s inability to deal and handle the situation. It is something you will #NEVER forget.) I will not write a book here, but the listed reasons above is why Trump may be the 47th President of the United States, but he isn’t my president. My president would have #NEVER done these things to an American.

The kind of deportation Trump has been talking about has gone beyond people that are here illegally. Trump has expanded it to include what he calls 'undocumented' migrants. That group includes people waiting for their asylum hearings, DACA recipients and protected status migrants/refugees, and people that have already had their asylum hearings, but are awaiting their citizenship hearings. \nAs for the narrative about 'murderers' and 'violent/horrible' criminals being in our country, it's like....wait...what??? Now, if you KNOW a person is a convicted murderer or horrible criminal, WHY would you allow them into or allow them to stay in this country to begin with? And, you'd kind of have to allow them to stay, otherwise, how the hell would you know how many of them are here?? Or who they are?? You can bet your butt that Pres. Biden didn't allow any people like this, that weren't in our prison system, yet 'known' to remain on US soil. That's not how it works! Not to mention, a large portion of the 13 to 15,000 number that Trump and the Right keep tossing out there, are from when Trump was in office! NOT during Pres. Biden's administration! \nIt's all been a lie manufactured for one purpose: to scare monger Trump's base. And it worked. Now Trump 'has a mandate' to put on an insane, cruel, probably hugely illegal 'show', of him rounding up large numbers of people and shipping them off to who the hell knows where..... whether they were here illegally or not. (he's already vowed to deport the 20,000 Haitians in Springfield, even tho they entered the country, LEGALLY, while TRUMP was president! HE is the one that signed their protected status into law!) Trump's deportation extravaganza is going to be ugly, brutal, bloody, grim and senselessly cruel, to a great many people that more likely than not, have no reason to be deported.

In Canada, there is not enough housing and jobs are scarce, especially for anyone at the entry level or basic wage. We've been absolutely swamped. This is not the fault of the immigrants or the students, it's the fault of our extremely stupid and short sighted government. Most of those immigrants I encounter are good people, polite and considerate. But some, well I understand where the complaints about rude and inconsiderate behaviour come from, because it only takes a few bad experiences to get people angry. I've experienced it myself, but most of it (from my experience) seems to be from students who are very loud and impolite on public transit. The housing situation here is INSANE, prices are sky high and very little to choose from. A lot of seniors now can only afford to rent a room (after having worked all their lives and very little to show for it), and prices are up about 50% from only 5 years ago. The government says inflation is a fraction of what it is in real life, and living expenses have exploded. As I understand it, some people made a lot of money offering services to bring students and low wage workers in, with no consideration to the damage they were doing to all of us who were born and raised here - they wanted to make their million dollars. Another problem is that once someone arrives here, what they find is NOT what they were led to believe. What students and immigrants are told they need to live here is an absolute lie, living here in Canada has become very expensive. Many workers are severely under paid, and never even see the legal minimum wage, and the problem with that is, almost no Canadian will be hired on to those jobs - the reasons are that imported foreign workers will work below minimum wage because they are trapped here, and the Canadians already know that they will only struggle if they take jobs that pay so poorly. So yes, a lot of Canadians are VERY angry, and you really can't blame them. Once again, the Canadian government is responsible for much of this, and crooked employers who are willing to take advantage of low wage labour. It's an absolute mess.

My family came from Canada from India over 100 years ago we came over here legally we tried to assimilate I think what really bothers me now is that these new international students are giving all of us a bad name most of them cheat on their English exams back in India, and this is a known fact most of them can’t speak English and hence why they fail the colleges here expecting to be passed automatically. they work over 40 hours a week illegally and lie about it The government is subsidizing international students but they are taking jobs away from our students. We paid taxes my entire life and my son applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing because every single job is taken over by international students they are they are abrasive. They are entitled, they cannot seem to understand how assimilation works. They are so entitled and they feel they can protest out in the streets when they dont get PR. They came on a student visa and were expected to go home. They are now complaining and protesting at this point they all need to be sent home because this is ridiculous, PR should be handed out as needed not automatically and right now there are so many Canadians without jobs so we don’t need more workers. I also work in healthcare most of the students or their families come in don’t have appropriate healthcare and we end up paying millions of dollars in healthcare bills because of them, we have had families come visit their international students with no healthcare having strokes costing us healthcare workers and the government over $1 million. We don’t have the infrastructure for these students to stop. The government needs to stop subsidizing. The government needs to stop handing out PR like they’re handing out candyscamin India and here charged enough is enough. I will def be writing to my politician

I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.
